Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Ram has a falling out with Vikram over the theft of a necklace

The serial started out with some light hearted behavior, but as the 2 new brides move into their new houses, things will get more complicated. Priya has started expressing her opinions to Ram, and this raises sparks often enough since Ram has got used to the idea of being able to do what he wants, without anybody interfering with him. So, the concept of somebody moving into his house and telling him what to do can complicate things enough. Also, when he yells at her, she does not take this lightly and replies back to him in the same tone, increasing the discomfort he feels.
Things get more complicated when an antique necklace is brought home so that it can be presented to the new daughter-in-law of the house. However, Ram's stepmother cannot stand the concept of this huge necklace going to that girl from the small household, and wants the necklace for Siddharth's wife, whenever she comes to the house.
So they plan a trick whereby they will steal the necklace, and in such a way that no suspicion will come on them. So, Siddharth convinces Vikram to take the necklace from the safe for safe-keeping (and all this is dutifully recorded by the CCTV camera). Soon after, her brother picks the pocket of Vikram and takes the necklace and turns it over to Siddharth and his mother. When it is found that the necklace is missing, the footage of the CCTV is shown and Vikram is seen to be taking the necklace. As a result, Ram has an uncomfortable discussion with Vikram where Vikram gets the concept that he is being accused of stealing the necklace, and when he points out that Siddharth told him to do so, he is shocked when Siddharth denies it. As a result, Vikram eventually leaves, and then decides to quit the company as well.

Hindi TV Serial - Ram Milaayi Jodi - Finally Mona gets the approval of Ambaji, and Anukalp faces fresh problems in the office

The serial shows the marriage between 2 different cultures, with a Gujarati boy and a Punjabi girl. Right from the start they show the girl facing all types of issues, some due to her own mistakes, and some due to some misunderstandings. Overall, Mona faces problems in her relations with her mother-in-law Ambaji; for some time Amabaji believes that Mona is creating differences between Ambaji and her son; things go so bad that for some time, they would show Mona crying over something or the other for the entire episode, and people in the family scolding her. Further, since Ambaji was doing the scolding, the others in the family also joined in.
However, Mona kept on doing her efforts to do things better for the family, and as a part of that, she even started trying to run a business when Anukalp faced problems in the job, and even though Ambaji did not like Mona doing the job, Mona continued on, but without telling Ambaji. So, when Ambaji got to knew, she was very embarrassed that her daughter-in-law was trying to do everything right, she was scolding her.
In the meantime, Ambaji's daughter Hetal got married into Mona's family, and soon things started getting worse. Hetal's behavior was very much unlike Mona's; she tried to create differences in the household, even not treating her husband properly. She even lied that her inlaws were asking for dowry, and when she wanted a car, treated as if giving a car was important for her family. Hetal's husband did not appreciate the car. In turn, Hetal complained to Ambaji that it was Mona who was causing her problems, and that is when she got the shock of her life. Ambaji, her own mother, slapped her hard and told her that all this was Hetal's fault, Mona was somebody who was always trying to do good for her family.
On the other hand, life was getting tough for Anukalp in the office since Goldie made his way back into the serial, in the form of becoming Anukalp's boss, insulting him and making his life stressful and difficult.

Hindi TV Serials - Ram Milaayi Jodi - A couple from different regions of the country

Ram Milaayi Jodi is a fairly new serial, started on Zee TV on the 20th of September. It is a show that takes the tale of a couple from different regions of the country, and the tensions that come up in such a marriage. The serial takes the story of Mona and Anukalp, where Mona is a Sikh, while Anukalp is from a Gujarati family.
There is a lot of misunderstanding regarding when they met, where Mona was to be engaged to somebody else (Goldie, who is a brother-in-law of Sweetie, Mona's cousin). Mona agreed to the match so that the Sweetie remains happy; however, there are complications that happen due to the constant presence of Anukalp who considers Mona as a good friend (or rather Mona considers Anukalp as a good fried while Anukalp has realized that he truly loves Mona). When Mona is about to get engaged to Goldie, she is nowhere to be found, and then it is realized when she returns that due to a turn of circumstances, she was actually with Anukalp. This is very embarrassing for both sets of families since it is clear that Mona was with Anukalp and it seems like the only possible solution for everybody is if Anukalp and Mona get married.
Anukalp's mother Bharti is totally against this marriage, and has scolded Mona many times in the past already for many situations, but is helpless due to the fact that Anukalp only wants to get married to Mona. Even during the marriage situations, there remains a lot of tension between the 2 set of families because of their own rituals and customs, and it is the elders in the family who are able to control things.
Now, Mona is married and lives with Anukalp, but there are a constant source of tensions and problems in the family, especially since relatives are not so considerate about her as the new bahu. It is Anukalp who is the total support to Mona, even when his own mother scolds him for the same; as yet, nobody in the house seems to have realized that when you have a new marriage, you need to give them some space.
