Hindi TV Serial - Bade acche Lagte Hain - An accident in which Ram and Priya are impacted

The serial is waiting to unveil a 20 year timeleap again, and the way it goes on right now, it would seem that the situation before the leap would show Ram and Piya separated and separated for a long period of time. For the past few episodes, the serial has been showing a situation where there is growing tension between Ram and Priya. Ram is running into a lot of tension due to the situation with his family, whereby Nuts does not believe in him anymore and believes that Priya was the one who caused all this problem. Further, his own brother Rishabh has now started treating him like a step-brother and wants to lead a separate life, with his own responsibilities and his own life and also keeping Ram at a distance. Ram also starts taunting Priya that she will always assume the mantle of being right and giving him a lecture all the time on what is right and what is wrong. Further, Priya and Somya try to show Rishab the truth and hence Somya is playing a drama, but things become clear to everybody, which makes Rishabh very angry with Soumya and Ram very angry with Priya (and all these items are not supposed to do anything to lower her tension, apparently very necessary in the current state of her pregnancy). Things are going from bad to worse and even Neha and Vikram are unable to really make things better. So they setup a plan where they get both Ram and Priya (along with Pihu) on the same flight, the flight to Singapore where hopefully they will forget about their differences and reconcile to each other.
So, Natasha wants a divorce from Karthik. Even though she believes that she still loves him a lot, she was very hurt over the situation when Karthik was recovering from his coma and coming out of the coma, and seemed to respond to touching from Jhanvi rather than Natasha, which hurt her terribly. Since she now realizes that maybe Karthik is actually more interested in Jhanvi than her, and hence she decides to go for a separation and divorce from Karthik although he pleads with her not to do this.
So, Neha and Vikram setup a plan whereby Neha tries a ladies holiday to Singapore (apparently she is fit enough to travel on a plane even though in pregnancy, many doctors do not easily agree to let their patients travel for long distances) while Vikram talks about a necessary meeting in Singapore, and both of them get them on the plane (and switch off their mobile phones so that Ram and Priya cannot call them and complain about what they have done). However, the ice between the two has not yet melted, and then everybody in India gets to know that the plane has crashed. And they show both Ram and Priya in wounded positions in the aftermath of the plane crash, lying on the ground, with plane debris and other people lying around them. Will they be now separated for 20 years ? Given that it is a Balaji serial, this is very much possible.

Hindi TV Serials - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - 6 months later, Ram and Priya are happy

Who would have thought that such a twist in the serial would be shown? That the Ram Kapoor, the man who was so powerful and running such a large business empire would suddenly change his entire world ? What they showed in the serial was not something that you could really believe. How can you have somebody who hands over his entire empire so as to get rid of his wife ? Ethically as well, when you are running a business, you are responsible for the jobs of your employees, you are responsible to your customers, and you are responsible towards the other shareholders. What they showed in the serial was behavior contrary to everything that you would learn as a part of a business.
What happened in the show was about Ram wanting to take a decision about ensuring that Ayesha leaves his life, but in a way that it would not seem that he was deserting her. So, when Ayesha is talking about how she loves Ram, Ram decides to tell her that he has decided that he will spend the rest of his life with her, but he will hand over the entire company and all his wealth to Piya and Pihu. Ayesha is very surprised at this and objects, saying that she does not agree to this; when she is the wife, why should Priya get everything.
So Ram turns around and says that he will reverse his stand, and asks Priya whether she will be him even if he gives everything he has to Ayesha; Priya agrees and Ayesha is very happy. As soon as this is over, both Ram and Priya leave the house and Ayesha starts taking over. She is now on an arrogant trip, and with more advice from Sid, she starts humiliating the other members of the house. Ram's brother is first told to move to a different room in the house, his card stops working in the office; when Ram gets to know about this, he tells him that Ram had just handed over his shares in the company to Ayesha, everybody else gets to keep their share (and they have forgotten that Ram had once handed over one of his better companies to priya; I wonder what happened to that decision).
So, now the scene shifts to 6 months after. After a few days of living with Neha and Vikram, Ram and Priya are now shown living in Jaipur, living a middle class life. They do not have that kind of money anymore, and Priya is very conscious about not wasting money and ensuring that money is saved. Ram is now running a small factory and they are all very happy. It is the birthday of Pihu, and everybody wants to come to Jaipur, but then Ayesha turns up and wants to have a birthday party for Kush so that nobody will go to Jaipur for the birthday party. She still remains envious of Priya and her life. Even her own mother has by now told her that she does not appreciate what all Ayesha is doing, that Ayesha has nobody to take care of her now, but Ayesha is too intoxicated by power to care about what anybody else is saying.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Focus on the struggle in Vikram and Neha's life

For viewers of the serial, the main attraction of the serial was the relationship between Ram and Priya, and with the presence of Pihu in the serial, she was also somebody who viewers liked to see. However, how long can you only keep showing 2 or 3 main characters in a serial, serial makers try to ensure that there are side stories ongoing in any serial, since that allows a serial to continue for a long period of time, and this is there in Bade Ache Lagte Hain as well. So, the close friends of Ram and Priya, Vikram and Neha, suddenly developed a huge problem after the time leap. Before the time leap, their relationship was a very stable relationship, but after the break, the show kept the suspense for a long time, showing that the relationship was under strain, both of them were talking about a divorce and separation.

It was only after quite some time that the serial showed that the reason for the tension in the relationship was the presence of a teenager called Rehan, a person who the serial hinted for some time was the illegitimate son of Vikram (after all, it is easier to bring in a son for the husband rather than the wife because if the wife was having an illegitimate son, it would be easy for anybody to know about it). It was only after quite some time that the serial showed that this was the son of Neha, in a relationship that happened before the marriage and where she was told that the child was dead at birth.

Now, they are dealing with this news. The tension in the relationship has been huge, Neha has moved out of the house since she wants some time off to figure out her emotions; Vikram supports her to some degree, but he has to deal with his wife having had a son earlier, and he has to continue living with the family and trying to answer questions; even in dealing with the elder son Rahul who feels that his parents have betrayed him; and he is now starting to point fingers at Neha for having easily moved out of the house rather than trying to resolve matters.

In the case of Ram and Priya, there is some settlement that is going to happen soon, probably because Chahat Khanna, who is playing the role of Ayesha, does not like that her role has been turned totally negative; and the news is that she wants out of the serial. Also, the serial is showing that both Ram and Priya realize that Pihu needs the presence of both mother and father.

Hindi TV Serial - CID - a 4 episode sequence where ACP Pradyuman resigns

For some time, there has been an ongoing story going on about how the character (Shivaji Satam) playing ACP Pradyuman has resigned from the serial, which would be a surprise since the serial has been going on for a very long time and the ACP along with Senior Inspectors Abhijeet and Daya are the main characters of the serial. And for some time now, the serial has also been showing the DCP, DCP Chitroley, who has been against the ACP but has not really been able to take any action against him since the success rate of the CID has been pretty good and the team has been entirely supportive.
However, in a complicated case involving marriages, a marriage bureau, a bride who has been running away, and smuggling of girls, the serial after a long time shows conflict in terms of the ACP resigning from the service (or rather, being forced to resign from the service since the DCP shows a video that would show the ACP running away from a girl who gets killed in a bomb blast - this is shown as cowardice by the ACP and he is also not willing to explain what happened - even to his own team). The DCP finally manages to get what he wanted, his own choice of ACP but the team is not very cooperative, and his choice of ACP is also not somebody who is able to inspire the team.
So, the 4 episode series starts with a bride in full bridal dress in a car, trying to escape from some people and using a gun to get the car stopped. She is pursued by some people and is then saved by the ACP who drops her off at the entrance of her housing colony. When the ACP goes there the next night, he is not able to locate her or anybody who has heard of her, causing all his suspicions to get raised, and then the investigation is started. And soon after, there is an explosion and the DCP comes with a video that shows the ACP running away; something that causes surprise to the team but they have still full faith in him. And then starts an investigation where Pradyuman is working in the marriage bureau that is the place of suspicion, and the team in the CID is also trying to figure out what happened. Finally, the ACP and the team manage to prevent the girls from being smuggled, and he comes back to the CID as a hero.

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaada - The leap, and initial episode scared viewers about Bulbul

The leap happened in the serial after the death of Pradeep before the leap. In 2 episodes where the 2 serials, Kya Hua Tera Vaada and Bade Ache Lagte Hain were combined, the story of Anushka was shown to take a very dangerous end (and as the leap shows, the end has not yet happened). Two marriage stories came to an end in these episodes, where Pradeep was shot by Anushka (by mistake, since he wanted to shoot Mona and Pradeep came in front trying to save Mona) and finally dies in the hospital, so the lingering story between Pradeep and Mona was brought to an end. Also, the trauma of the tragic end of Pradeep in such a way also brought to an end the story of Mona and Vineet. Mona told him that this tragedy has forced her to think and that she wants to think about her children for now (although I do not agree, she is still a lady in her prime, and the serial should not have taken her in such a direction which showed her to be a conservative lady - she could have married Vineet of her own wish and had a happy married life).
So, now the leap has happened. Her children are now young adults, some working and some still studying. Her eldest daughter Bulbul carries off from before the leap where she came to the conclusion that it was Pradeep who decided to go to Anushka, and this is what eventually killed him, so she does not have the same affection for Pradeep after the leap. And apparently Anushka is also out of jail (which is strange, since she committed 3 murders, and there would be no reason for her to be out of jail in such a short time), and the promos show that she is out for revenge, the period of 10 years has not cooled her desire for revenge on Mona and her family.
Now, the serial starts by scaring the viewers about Bulbul. They show her getting ready for a night out at a bus shelter in the evening, in the way that they would portray a prostitute getting ready. And then she goes out with a guy who comes up in a car, and goes off to a hotel where he has booked a room. Malika notices this, and ever catty, decides to phone Mona to taunt her about her daughter. Mona reaches the hotel, and is shocked to see her daughter over there in a short dress. And in the next episode they show that everything is fine, Bulbul is a TV reporter out to do a expose. She saves Mona in the next episode where Mona has gone to meet a Government official about permissions for her restaurant and is about to get taken by the guy.

Hindi TV Serial - Anamika - A new serial trying to mix paranormal and romance

If you have been watching Sony for some time, then you would have seen the ads for the serial called Anamika, a serial that talks about the presence of a chudail in the love life and how this scares the girl involved to a large degree. The serial has only recently started and has just had a couple of episodes, enough to establish that there is something scary, and yet combined this with the bubble life and romance of a young couple whose families are very close to each other. So it is with the family of Rano and Jeet. Rano's family is heading towards Vaishno Devi and they are at the train station, yet Rano has not yet gone since she wants to stay on in the town. Jeet has been assigned the task to bring her back from the railway station, and yet he runs into trouble while on the way. He is in a forest and his car has broken down, and then he hears the voice of a woman. He tries to find her, but is unable to do so. And then somebody helps him to get the car repaired and he is finally able to go to the railway station (by which time it is late in the day and is dark). Rano is getting scared at the isolated train station, and in the meantime Jeet's family has sent the driver also to get her, after being angry at Jeet for not reaching there in time and for not letting them know that he will not be there. He also loses his bracelet in the forest, and is yet surprised to see the bracelet in his car the next morning, with the serial showing a moving fog, and also the gate of the house having opened (even though nobody in the house had opened the gate of the house).
The show also introduces the family of Jeet, where his bebo is a very modern grandmother, his dad believes in strictness and that his son is not showing enough responsibility. His elder brother and bhabhi are normal people - overall a normal family. The families are very close, and there is some talk about trying to find a good match for Rano, although by this time Rano has accepted that marrying Jeet is one option that she would not mind.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - 5 years later, in Dubai now

So the serial finally made its fresh beginning, as was being advertised some time back. So you have Ram finally haven got over the shock of losing Priya and now reverting back to original, being a hard-hearted business man who cannot be fooled easily, and gone back to eating his oil rich food and eating drugs. On the other hand, Vikram and Neha do not look too much in terms of 5 years older, although Neha is now showing as a typical obsessed mother, with a son who resents too much of his mother's interference.
When Priya reached Dubai with the young girl, she came in contact with a rich and cold businessman, Rajat Kapoor. When he learns that Priya managed to make it to Dubai with the young girl, he tries to give her some money but Priya wants a job rather than money. He is reluctant, but finally offers her a book shop he has that does not make money, and tells her strictly that he wants rent on time, no compromises.
5 years later, Priya is still struggling, trying to pay rent on time. Her bookshop just manages to run, not making a lot of money, and if she has to give something to her daughter, then it is a problem. And we are introduced to her (and Ram's) daughter, Pihu, a young girl who copies many habits of her father. She snores, considers her mother to be untidy, and even shares the same tastes in ice-cream and and chocolate.
And then Ram comes to Dubai for some work in business, expresses an interest in seeing a book shop and then runs into his own daughter who is searching for Priya in the mall. They both have the same interest, wanting a large eclair, and then she asks him to help her search for Priya.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Ache Lagte Hain - Defeat from the jaws of victory

The serial has become very confused for the past few weeks. Priya was determined to stand up for Ram, and expose the wrong-doings done by his mother, Niharika. So, something very strange was happening in the serial. Using the time when Ram was shown to have acted wrongly by accusing Karthik of kidnapping Nuts and putting him in jail, Priya scolds Ram very strongly. This is increased by the fact that she and Niharika had a showdown where Niharika made it clear that she wants Priya out, and Priya agreed but with a condition that she wants money for her comfort. This was something that Niharika was easily able to understand, and hence the deal was made. Part of the deal was that Priya would move out of Ram's life, and Priya started acting very strangely against Ram, acting uncomfortable and somewhat hostile. She explained this to Vikram by stating that she wants to take as much money of Ram as possible so that his mother and brother have less to steal from him.
Things get more tricky when Priya wants to start exposing Niharika's history, by getting Niharika's ex-husband and Ram's estranged natural mother to be in the picture and slowly get Ram to understand. In the meantime, Sid starts acting on the company which is most profitable, wanting to ensure that the reputation of the company gets damaged.
Then, the showdown happens where Priya thinks she has evidence where Niharika talks about her past, but this does not work since the recording is incomplete, and then Ram does not believe this, asking his natural mother about why she left him; she is unable to answer completely. This is a complete victory for Niharika. However, soon after the police arrive to arrest Ram for wrong-doings in the pharma company that caused the death of people. It is here, that when Ram is told about wrong-doings by Sid, he tells the police. It is here that Niharika behaves unnaturally, since she loudly states that Ram is guilty, not Sid (she could have handled this in such a way that she would not have broken with Ram).
Priya steps in (having been called by Vikram), claiming that since Ram had handed over the company to her, she was the owner of the company, and hence the police action should be against her and not against Ram. The police arrest her, and Ram is baffled by her action, and incredibly in love with her for whatever she has done.

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaada - Divorce case in court, kids awarded to Pradeep

For Pradeep and Anushka, the concept is that they are now a loving couple, can get on with business and with being close to each other, and achieve their ambitions in life. For Pradeep, his earlier life was all about career mixed with this duties as a father, but it was Mona who was managing the house, and Pradeep would not even know about the issues that was affecting his children. So, when he decided to leave Mona and start on a new life with Anushka, he had not planned anything in detail.
On the other hand, when Mona's mother-in-law prevents her from jumping off the building, she shows Mona a plan whereby Mona can start with her life again, learning how to stand on her own feet, starting with Mona getting her education complete. This also includes not trying to beg Pradeep not to leave her.
The next events in the show surprised both Pradeep and Anushka. Pradeep would have calculated that Mona would ask him for support for the children, and he was willing to offer the support. However, when the case came up, events worked out in such a way that Mona did not offer any objection to the divorce petition, and wanted this to be a divorce by mutual consent. Further, her condition was that the children would be Pradeep.
The judge accordingly agreed to this condition, and so did Pradeep, and as a result, the custody of the children was handed over to Pradeep and Anushka, something that Anushka was certainly not ready for. Handling 3 children is not an easy task, and am pretty sure that this would cause huge strains between Pradeep and Anushka.

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaada - Finally the news breaks, Pradeep calls off the marriage

To tell the truth, I have been finding this show a bit irritating over the past few episodes, but maybe the setting is part of the serial. They show a family going through strain, where the husband Pradeep feels that his wife is now so dedicated to family (read this as the children) and to the running of the family that she does not really have the time to spend on him. This feeling grows on him, and he has frustration with his current job where he feels that he is not valued. On the other hand, his wife Mona gives a very good representation of acting like a door-knob, letting him unleash on her whenever he wants, and not setting him right even once in a while. She just takes the pain in silence, and whenever Pradeep vents on her, she tries to figure out what her fault was.
Things however come to a pass when Pradeep is about to resign from the company because of an issue, and then suddenly his old college girl-friend, the ambitious Anushka comes into the picture as being the owner of the company. She sets things right for Pradeep, and then decides over the next few days that she was wrong to let Pradeep go in the past, and she wants him now. One of her close friends even warns her against this, but she does not listen.
So you now have Pradeep being sought by his own boss, a boss who is ambitious, who has given him promotions, and who flatters him with the attention that he is looking for, and over a period of time, Pradeep even starts having a relationship with her, under the nose of Mona who does not know all this, and who even believes that Anushka is a good friend to her.
And then there is an accident that causes Pradeep to blurt out his true feelings about Anushka, something which Mona overhears, and then in front of both sets of parents, Pradeep declares that his marriage is over, that he cannot stay with Mona anymore (and anyhow, this was a forced marriage), and he is going to stay with Anushka, she is ambitious like the person he wanted. On the other hand, in Mona's house, her father is not very comfortable with her coming back to stay with them, since he cannot deal with what people will say about this.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Sid helping Ayesha, makes Natasha suspicious

There is a complex story going on in Ram's house. While Niharika is starting to despair that all her plans of separating Ram and Priya are working, she gets even worse news where she learns that Ram is planning on gifting the largest company in the group to Priya (based on a comment he had heard where it was said that Ram was rich and Priya had nothing). However, Sid is somewhat confident that the plan he is working on will work; this plan involves him trying to get in close with Ayesha and using her as a means of finally pushing Priya out of the house.
On the other hand, Ram is even more impressed by Ram, since she spent a lot of time and effort to get a statue of Ram's father, and got it installed in the house, and since Ram really admired his father, this action brought tears to his house and his respect for Priya increased; and this made Niharika even more frustrated, since she could see how this increased the closeness between Ram and Priya. Now Ram is on another push, wanting Priya to call him Ram instead of Mr. Kapoor and she is finding it hard to make this change.
On the other hand, Sid is trying to manipulate Ayesha, by showing her a future. So he arranges interviews and photo-shoots for her, and Natasha gets to know about this when a journalist calls her for the interview and then she investigates further and finds out that Sid was behind all this. Nuts knows that Sid does not do anything for people without any reason and tries to warn off Ayesha and Shipra, but they are too happy about what is happening and feel that Natasha is jealous; this is when Natasha tries to get Priya involved in the issue, since she feels that Priya will understand more about this.

Hindi TV Serial - Kuch To Log Kahenge - The accident of Dr.Ashutosh and Nidhi trying to find him

The serial is proving popular with the character of Dr. Ashutosh, a leading doctor of the city, being played by Mohnish Behl, proving to be very popular. However, in recent times, Mohnish Behl needed to take a medical break from the serial, and thus they needed to remove him from the serial and replace him with a new person (Sharad Kelkar). So, the most common method is to do some kind of accident where there is a need for plastic surgery. The serial moved on this side, taking the doctor on a car accident where he was found missing, apparently fallen into a river and presumed dead. The police did an investigation and could not find his body and everybody assumed that he was dead, including his close friend Armaan.
However, it was Nidhi who did not believe that Dr. Ashutosh was dead. By this time, her family members knew that she was in love with Dr. Ashutosh and were not comfortable with this, although her father really did not push his views. And Nidhi really did not care for objections. So now, when everybody believed that Dr. Ashutosh was dead, Nidhi refused to believe it, and started on a search for Dr. Ashutosh.
She set out, hunting for possible spots where he could have emerged from the river in an injured state, reaching villages on the way. At a particular village, she went into the hospital, and talked to the doctor, but the doctor told her that there were no persons fitting that description. However, her heart did not accept this, and she decided to turn back to the village over the objections of her friends, at the same time that a barely living person was pulled from the river and taken to hospital. He barely had a heart beat.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Ram and Priya come even closer together

This part of the serial was very confusing for me. Both the lead characters are grappling with how to display their affections to each other, but are waiting for the other to take the lead. And for this end, they are being guided (misguided) by their close friends who are suggestiong what they should do, what steps they should take, and so on. As a result, an entire episode was spent in this kind of calculation of emotions, where they were all at a party.
At the party, there was a sort of cold war between Ram and Priya, and Ram was unsure of how he would tell Priya that he was in love with her, while Priya was not sure as to what was in Ram's mind. And then, Priya decided (in discussion with Neha) that maybe the right way was to make Ram somewhat jealous, so she did so by first praising Dhoni a lot, and then once Ronit Roy came to the party, she started praising him, his acting and his fitness level. This served to make Ram angry, but did not really do anything more. And very strangely, it turned out that Ram and Vikram slept off in the car and did not tell either of their wives about their having left the party.
This led to 2 very angry wives, who in their own houses, did not sleep, waiting for communication from their husbands. So when Ram decided to finally come in the house in the morning and seemed to find Priya sleeping on the couch, he got angry and confronted her. Only to be blasted back by Priya, who told him that she did not sleep a bit, waiting for him to inform her about his whereabouts and so on; and if he was going to be sitting on his ego, she would tell him "I love you" first. And then she said that she was going to her parents house since she wanted to attend Natasha's function, since that was a big day for her sister.

Hindi TV Serials - Kya Huaa Teraa Vaada - The problems and distances faced by a young couple

This is a relatively new serial on Sony TV, which has been given the lucrative 10 PM slot. The serial started on January 30th, 2012. The serial stars the experienced Mona Singh, alongwith Pawan Shankar (screen name being Pradeep Singh; Mona Singh's name is the same in the serial). The couple live in Mumbai as a normal middle class couple, where Pradeep works in a company (with the usual politics in the company, where he works and his boss takes the credit, and he is looking for a promotion). They are just about ok financially, not well off, with having to save up for special occasions and feeling the pinch of raising 3 kids.
Things come to a head when Pradeep gets fired from his job, instead of the promotion that he was hoping for. However, things start changing once the company gets a new boss, a dynamic lady called Anushka Shankar (played by Mauli Ganguly). It takes some time for Pradeep to recognize her as his former friend from college, somebody who he was ready to marry, but she needed more time since she was ambitious and wanted to build up a career of her own. So, the marriage never happens and then Pradeep marries Mona and builds up a family with her.
However, Anushka notices Pradeep when he has come to pick up his stuff, and calls him back to the job, kicks out his former boss who used to take credit for the work done by Pradeep, and overall boosts up his prestige. At the same time, Pradeep makes a critical mistake when he tells Mona about his boss, but neglects to tell her that this was the same lady to whom he had almost got married. And soon after, Anushka decides that it was a mistake to have not married pradeep earlier and she wants him now; this will cause huge problems in the marriage of Pradeep and Mona.
Even otherwise, there are some tensions in the marriage, since Pradeep believes that Mona no longer gives him as much attention as earlier, probably due to taking care of the children and the house, something which is necessary, but which irritates Pradeep.

Hindi TV Serial - Adalat - Mistakes shown in the recent episodes of the show

Typically, although the show had a lot of antics in the case, and had mistakes in the legal and judicial system in the show, there were not too many seemingly obvious mistakes. However, recent episodes had some major mistakes that seemed worse than what was possible; maybe they had stopped doing any consultation before releasing the show, or even writing the script.
Typically, the show has a sequence where the defense lawyer does a lot of hard questioning, and is then able to upset the main culprit or others, and manages to provoke them to admit to the crime of murder, and the accused manages to be declared innocent. What used to happen in this case was that the judge would declare the accused free, and order the others to be arrested for trial. This is fair, since the case was not against them, and if they are to be accused of murder, they need to have a fair trial against them (this is the sequence, that if A is accused of murder, KD Pathak manages to show that B is the murderer, and then the judge sets A free, and orders the arrest of B).
However, this was broken in a recent case whereby the judge decided to set the accused free, and then, on the basis of some evidence presented by KD, and the admission by the parties, decided to sentence them to life imprisonment. There was no trial, there was no defense lawyer for them, and suddenly they are sentenced to life imprisonment.
In another recent episode, a young child is tried for murder. Now, children are typically not tried for murder in a regular court, and are instead tried in a juvenile court for any crimes they may have committed, since they are not supposed to be responsible enough in terms of maturity to be tried for serious crimes. And yet, here this young boy was, being tried for murder.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Sid and Mama trying to use Ashwin to bring differences between Ram and Piya

The serial is trying the first major drama of the serial. Ever since Piya caused the dramatic downturn in the fortunes of Sid by exposing that he had hidden the family necklace, and for which Vikram was sought to be blamed, Sid had been seeking any way to show Piya down; and he tried to explore her past history by pumping her sister for information. Her sister did reveal that Piya was earlier engaged to a guy named Ashwin, who was engaged to Piya, but who ultimately ditched her to marry her close friend Shruti, something that had impacted Piya a lot.
Then Sid recalls that there was somebody who had come to the office for a job, and he had turned the guy away, and this was also a guy named Ashwin. They get the guy back, and offer him a job, trusting that they would be able to manipulate things to put differences between Ram and Piya. Both Sid and Mama start pumping up Ashwin in terms of Piya still being interested in him (after all, what could she want from a person such as Ram), to the extent that Ashwin starts believing what they says and starts looking for chances to get closer to Piya.
So when Piya comes to the office to give a lecture, Ashwin comes to her, but she totally rebuffs him, sending him back and cold-shouldering him. However, he persists, and even goes as much as to claim to some of his batchmates that they should serve him, since he is close to the wife of the CEO. With some more things, and with prompting by Sid and Mama, Ram is starting to realize that something is going on, and starts to monitor what is going on with Piya. Piya on the other hand is just trying to end whatever things Ashwin is trying to get her into.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Drama about the Karva Chauth ceremony

The serial is showing the growing relationship between the 2 main characters of the serial - Ram Kapoor and Priya Kapoor. As per them, their marriage is a compromise, meant to support the marriage of their younger siblings, Karthik and Natasha. They both know this, and also repeat this to each other. Ram declares this much more so, although Priya does not like this statement when Ram makes it, especially when Ram does this in anger.
The latest issue is related to the honeymoon plans. To the surprise of Ram and Priya, their friends give them a honeymoon package, which they don't want. When they try to be clever and transfer the tickets in the name of their friends, they realize that the tickets are non-transferable, and it will cost a fair amount of money if they try and cancel the tickets.
Then they hit upon a plan (or rather, it comes to Priya). The festival of Karva Chauth is coming up, and like any good Hindu lady, Priya needs to observe Karva Chauth, and that will conflict with the plans for the honeymoon. So, and because Dadima is also interested in seeing the festival being observed, Priya decides to follow the festival.
And then Ram declares that he cannot be in the city at the time of Karva Chauth, since he has an important meeting and presentation. Priya tries to be clever and get Dadima to prevail upon Ram to be there and cancel his trip, but he does not agree. Then she gets very clever and hides the ticket.
At the evening of Karva Chauth, Ram does turn up, but very angry since he considers that Priya exceeded her limit by taking his ticket, angry enough that he makes her cry. But, he is in for a shock when he is informed that his plane has crashed, and that if it were not for this tactic by Priya, he would have been most certainly dead by now. He is flabber-gasted and does not know what to say.

Finally they show Priya taking some more action. So far, they have shown her to be feisty, not willing to take any scolding or argument from Ram wherever Ram has suddenly grown angry. In addition, she has taken action wherever she has felt the need, even when it may be something over which Ram may not have been very happy. So, when the dispute between Ram and Vikram happens, she tries to sort some things out by going to Vikram's house, but Vikram's wife is really angry over what has happened, and does even let Priya enter the house, instead subjecting her to a lot of scolding. This does not deter Priya in any way, and she decides to get some more advice, by talking to her dad. He gives her some advice, and which seems to her to be the best way. Ram on the other hand is very upset over what has happened with regard to the necklace and with Vikram, and does not approve of any actions she takes.
And then she notices something; she discovers that there is a camera in the basement; and remembers that the camera screen was shut when the party was going on. And then she notices Siddharth behaving a bit strangely, and she follows him (and he is of course stupid, not suspecting anything); and finds that he was just re-checking that the necklace is still there where he has left it. She makes a plan to ensure that things get well between Ram and vikram, and Siddharth is also exposed.
So, Vikram comes to the house and confesses that he later found the necklace in his car and he has got it back. This confuses the others in the house, and Siddharth is sent to re-check. At this time, Priya takes everybody to the camera room, where they can see through the camera in the basement, and it is pretty clear that Siddharth always knew where the necklace is. This ensures that Ram's anger is directed at Siddharth and things work out between Ram and Vikram.

Hindi TV Serial - Adalat / CID - Ensuring that there is always denial of the paranormal

Sony has a range of crime based serials that occur over the weekends. These can be pretty interesting for the viewers, although some of them seem comical for other viewers. A combination of Adalat, CID, and Crime Reporter all cover crime, with the first 2 being more about fiction, and the Crime Reporter being a dramatized version of real life events that are pretty horrible.
One fact that comes out in all the serials relates to the fact that even though they cover many different types of crime, all of them avoid in any way anything that justifies the paranormal or the concept of ghosts or spirits.
CID has taken many episodes where the scene is such that people believe that a murder has been committed by the spirits, and always, the officials in the serial refuse to believe that there are any kind of ghosts or spirits that exist. It's only Freddy who is shown as being afraid of ghosts or spirits. Even Freddie however takes part in these cases. So you can have these investigators running after ghosts in deserted buildings, or chasing a ghost in an old haveli, or many other such situations.
In many cases, the scene is such that there seems to be an obvious ghost in the scenario, yet they manage to do the investigation, and find that out that actually this is being done by somebody for a specific motive, and are able to break the chain and find out what really happened. The same thing happens in Adalat where people claim to use black magic or other similar items, and eventually KD discovers the reality and shows that there is no magic, no ghosts, and others.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Ram has a falling out with Vikram over the theft of a necklace

The serial started out with some light hearted behavior, but as the 2 new brides move into their new houses, things will get more complicated. Priya has started expressing her opinions to Ram, and this raises sparks often enough since Ram has got used to the idea of being able to do what he wants, without anybody interfering with him. So, the concept of somebody moving into his house and telling him what to do can complicate things enough. Also, when he yells at her, she does not take this lightly and replies back to him in the same tone, increasing the discomfort he feels.
Things get more complicated when an antique necklace is brought home so that it can be presented to the new daughter-in-law of the house. However, Ram's stepmother cannot stand the concept of this huge necklace going to that girl from the small household, and wants the necklace for Siddharth's wife, whenever she comes to the house.
So they plan a trick whereby they will steal the necklace, and in such a way that no suspicion will come on them. So, Siddharth convinces Vikram to take the necklace from the safe for safe-keeping (and all this is dutifully recorded by the CCTV camera). Soon after, her brother picks the pocket of Vikram and takes the necklace and turns it over to Siddharth and his mother. When it is found that the necklace is missing, the footage of the CCTV is shown and Vikram is seen to be taking the necklace. As a result, Ram has an uncomfortable discussion with Vikram where Vikram gets the concept that he is being accused of stealing the necklace, and when he points out that Siddharth told him to do so, he is shocked when Siddharth denies it. As a result, Vikram eventually leaves, and then decides to quit the company as well.
