Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Ishita in her quest to get Yash to be hers

The serial is moving into apparently the final week of this series, with the new season of the soap ready to start soon, and hence the current serial needs to be wrapped up soon. Ishita is under a lot of pressure, since she wants Yash to be hers, while she is now under pressure from both Akash and Aarti about her behavior, and has to move matters quickly. On both these fronts, matters will get very dangerous for her, leaving her with very little time.
Ever since she was prevented from marrying Yash and married Akash, Ishita has always wanted to marry Yash. This is becoming a passion with her and she is willing to do anything to get this ambition of hers fulfilled, not caring about her being married to Akash (who is still vulnerable, even though he has got a lot of love from his brothers) and about Yash being happily married to Aarti and having many children with Aarti. For Ishita, she is now the total villain of the piece, and will do anything in her quest to harm Aarti. She tried to harm Aarti before her delivery, but was unable to do anything. After that, after Ayu was born, Ishita did not give up and finally got the kidnap of Ayu done. Aarti was initially blamed for this, but soon after, the same child was adopted back by Pari and brought back into the house.
By now, Aarti is very suspicious of Ishita, but like many other Hindi Serials, the makers of the serial always show the good people to be a bit dumb, always expecting that people will get better over a period of time and will lose their badness, and many times have to suffer because of that (some serials can show this suffering to happen for many months or years, while other serials can show this suffering to be a bit shorter). She wants to ensure that no harm can come to the family because of Ishita, but is not cunning enough to prevent Ishita from doing what she wants to do - she has to catch Ishita after she has done whatever she wanted to do.
Now, Ishita is in trouble with Akash wanting to be intimate with her, while Ishita is trying to rebuff him, and even tells him that she is using him to get closer to somebody else. Akash finally mentions the divorce word, and asks her whether she is interested in divorcing Akash since she is not really interested in the marriage. However, Ishita gets a reprieve after that when Akash has to go Bhopal for some work. Soon after, Ishita has a confrontation with Aarti where she gets 2 stinging slaps from Aarti since Aarti again believes that Ishita is after Yash. Also, when there are some dancers in the house for a function, Aarti traces one of them as being the one who was involved at the time of Ayu's kidnap, and gets the information from her that Ishita was involved in the kidnap.
With so little time left, Ishita has to move quickly. She has to quickly snare Yash in a situation where he cannot deny, and so gets him to a hotel elsewhere with the pretense that she has a detective to investigate the kidnapping and that the detective is getting closer. She then gets Yash to drink a juice that has been drugged and is hoping to showcase Yash in an intimate scene, so that he cannot deny what happened.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Aarti all ready to deliver a baby, Ishita trying everything to stop her

After so much time, the serial started showing some positive news for the main members of the serial. The quest of Yash and Aarti to ensure that Akash left all his anger and hurt was finally achieved. In the end, Akash felt the comfort and love from the family and decided to change himself - so he returned the room back to Yash and Aarti, he told Ishita to hand over the keys of the house to Aarti (where Buaji came in and taunted Ishita about what she was being asked to do) which were in turn handed over to Radha (the quest of Yash and Aarti to ensure the re-marriage of Papa Scinidia and Radha was achieved and the marriage did happen, and they look fairly comfortable after the marriage), and Akash also told Yash that he was returning all the share of the family business that he had been given and would act an assistant to Yash so that he could learn about the business. And all of this left Ishita very angry, since she was very jealous of the closeness of Yash and Aarti and wanted their relationship to break.
So, now Ishita has taken over as the villain of the serial, taken over from Prashant. She has been trying a number of tactics over the past few months to do whatever it takes to harm Aarti, and has been getting more and more frustrated since she is not able to break the strong relation between Aarti and Yash. She knows that Aarti is pregnant and the steps that she is taking will harm the baby as well, but her jealousy is driving her to do all this. In the midst of all this, she has no regard for Akash, and when Akash is slowly getting close to her now after his emotions have got more balanced, she cannot stand any such attempt to get close and feels disgusted whenever Akash tries something.
She tries to add more separation between Yash and Aarti by trying to get Aarti to fall down after slipping over some water (using the opportunity when Aarti is trying to clean a bit of the floor), but Aarti gets saved by Yash before she can fall. And even though Ishita tries to instigate Pari to blame Aarti for this, especially since Palak does get a bit hurt after she slips, this soon ends, and Yash is not at all angry over this. So, this attempt by Ishita comes to an end, and she also gets scolded by Buaji when Buaji sees her trying to peek into the room of Yash and Aarti.
Now, it is speculated that after the delivery, Ishita will try to get the baby away so as to try and put some distance and arguments between Yash and Aarti. Will she succeed ?

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivaah - Yash and Aarti planning to marry SP and Radha but ..

The presence of Akash in the house finally claimed a major victim, with Gayathri bowing out of the serial. Actually, the actress who was playing the role of Gayathri was suffering an illness and needed to get out of the serial, and so the serial finally planned an exit for her. They changed her behavior in the serial, causing her to become more and more in favor of Akash and against Yash and Aarti, to the extent that it almost seemed that she wanted to get rid of them. If anything happened, she would take the side of Akash, and threatened to throw boiling hot water on Aarti because somebody had thrown water on Akash (ignoring the fact that Aarti is supposed to be pregnant). Finally, the serial showed her dying, and this was traumatic to everyone in the house.
Now, the serial shows Yash and Aarti trying to figure out what should be next. Their father is now alone, and is still of an age where he needs a companion and there is somebody already there with whom he was in love a long time back and had a child with as well (Yash). So, both Aarti and yash come up with this idea, and decide that they will try and make this a reality. However, there is a new villain in the house, in the form of Ishita, who overhears this, and decides that she will prevent this from happening. She hates Yash and Aarti (or rather wants Yash, but does not like the fact that he is dedicated to Aarti).
So she creates a scene in the house which will scandalize everyone and prevent this sort of marriage from happening. She drugs Radha, and causes her to land up in SP's bed in her drugged state, and then brings the entire household there. SP cannot believe how this came to happen, denies any knowledge of what has happened, the same with Radha. Buaji scolds Radha incredibly, hard enough that Radha comes back to her room and wonders about what is happening to her life. On the other hand, Yash and Aarti cannot believe that Radha or their father can do something like this, and want to find out who is responsible for this.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Yash finds out the truth about Akash

More twists and turns in the serial. Aarti, who has an insatiable curiosity for learning all about everything now wanted to find out what was the deal with Radha. After all, Radha and Aakash had made the accusation that it was SP who was the father of Aakash, something that had shocked the entire household. They were all very angry at the accusation and wanted to retaliate against Radha and Aakash. Then, to prove things, a DNA test was conducted to determine whether SP was indeed the father of Akash. Now he knew that he was the father, that he had made Radha pregnant many decades back, but could not let the people in the house and his family know his secret, so SP decided to jettison all his principles and change the report. He managed to ensure that a fake report would be delivered to everybody, while he would get the true report which he could destroy.
But when Aarti spoke to Radha, she learnt that the truth was even greater; it was Radha who had changed the babies so that it was actually her child who was living in the house with the name of Yash, and Akash was actually the son of the legal married wife of SP, the son of Gayathri. Aarti was shocked to hear all this, but she was also unsure about what to do; this was such a big secret that could shake the entire household.
In the meantime, the fake DNA report was revealed, and everybody started humiliating Radha and Akash. In fact, black color and a garland of shoes was brought so that these could be applied on Akash for making such an accusation. Yash was hesitant about doing something like this, and just applied a small amount of black color on the forehead of Akash, but his brother did the rest, liberally smearing the whole face with black color as a form of humiliation. In the meantime, Yash could see smoke coming from his parents room, this smoke being the burning true DNA report. While putting out the fire, Yash finally saw the true report and was shocked. He had a discussion with Aarthi where he told her that he will not reveal the truth to everybody, he cannot stand the humiliation it will cause to his family members. Aarti reminded him about his principles, but he stated that he cannot humiliate his family members just because of his principles, and refused to reveal the truth. Aarti was very uncomfortable with this, and was not sure how to reconcile this with the more shocking truth that he knew now.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Threat to kill Ansh if Yash and Aarti do not get divorced

The drama regarding the kidnapping of Ansh has not yet finished. Even though Prashant died in the fight with Yash, Ansh was not yet to be found. The situation is getting very traumatic for Aarti and Yash, but they are unable to find Ansh. To some extent, Yash suspects that his father is the one behind the kidnapping since he wanted a divorce between Yash and Aarti, and striking at Ansh was a way to strike at the weakest point of Aarti; and he also supported Prashant in the effort to win the child custody of Ansh, something that was finally defeated in court where the judge gave custody to Yash and Aarti. The serial also shows a new character Aakash (Akshay Dogra) who is shown as coming to be the driver in the Scinidia household, and who is also shown to the one who has actually done the kidnapping.
And now they show Yash very apologetic over the suspicion of his father when he sees his father being very cooperative with the police when they are trying to find Ansh, and he expresses his apologies to his father right away after that; and also tells the same to Aarti that he was very sorry about suspecting his father to be involved in the case.
And then they show a man (Akash) to be taking a video of Ansh (and where Ansh almost gets away since he finds the car keys that would cause the car security system to beep and does create a disturbance, but is then caught again by Aakash before he could get away). He finally places a CD in front of the doorway of Yash, and Yash then chases after him in a chase sequence, is able to catch him in a sequence, but then loses his grip. With the police, he then describes how he had injured the man who had run away after leaving the CD in their house, and so they search for doctors who would have treated a man injured in the leg, and in the promo for the next version, a doctor does admit to treating somebody. Also, they also show them getting ready to sign the divorce agreement, and also have to agree that Yash will marry somebody else within the next 7 days.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Ansh kidnapped by Prashant after court case

The serial suddenly has become much more complex. Till some weeks back, there was no mention of Prashanth in the serial, and now suddenly, he became the main character in the serial, making the life of Aarti hell. Initially he comes in for treatment for cancer and is not sure whether he will survive or not, but after he becomes fine, the feeling in him grows that since he is now fine, he deserves his wife and child back (ignoring the feelings of his ex-wife, even his parents, and also the fact that he had left rather than Aarti leaving him). Now, Aarti is in love with Yash and Yash with Aarti, and Ansh is well settled in with Yash, accepting him as his father and Yash does not discriminate between Ansh and his other children.
In this world, Prashanth comes in, supported by his Taiji who does not believe in this divorce stuff and wants to ensure that Aarti comes back to Prashanth; they barge into Aarti's house and let everybody know about this, which is a problem since everybody believes that Aarti's husband had died, not that she was a divorcee. For some reason, they did not want a divorcee, but a widow was fine. When they find out that they were lied to, they are all very agree but Yash continues to support Aarti which means that they are all punished by his parents.
In the middle of all this, Prashanth gets more serious, and once tries to influence Ansh, and in this conflict, he gets beaten up by Aarti and Yash. He gets angry, and with the support of Yash's father, hires the best lawyer for the custody of Ansh; there is a lot of drama including some very unusual actions by the judge, but finally the judge decides that custody is to be given to Yash and Aarti rather than Prashant.
When Yash and Aarti along with the children go for a vacation, Prashanth follows them and kidnaps Ansh, and even threatens to kill Ansh if Aarti does not come to him. During this time, the serial does 2 combined episodes with another serial (Qubool Hain), and they get mixed up with some serious matters, but so far have been unable to find Ansh. They even manage to get to the hotel room where Ansh was, but somebody picks him up before Yash and Aarti can get there.
That somebody seems to be Akash, who is going to the Scinidia household to be the new driver. He is fairly arrogant, and they will soon reveal that he is the one who had kidnapped Ansh from the hotel, since he is also the illegitimate son of Scindia.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Aarti and Yash get custody of Ansh

It was very strange seeing the recent episodes of the serial. On the one hand, there is a lot of debate ongoing about the rights of women and there are frequent discussions in the media about the rights of mother vis-a-vis the rights of the father, and then you have such strange things being shown in the serial. For some time now, after Prashant was shown as having recovered from his illness, he became warped, determined to get his wife and child back, not accounting for the fact that he was the one who had left them some time back. So, he ties up with a taiji (who is old fashioned, does not believe that there is such a thing such as a divorce, and who cannot understand why Prashant cannot just go and take Aarti, and how Aarti can be with anyone else once she has got married to Prashant, who is after all the owner of Aarti).
So, it takes some time for these series of episodes to end, with finally the Taiji and Prashant marching into Yash's house and demanding that Aarti come back. They are dispatched and sent back, but one outcome of this is that it is now revealed that Aarti is a divorcee and not a widower, which is a violation since Yash's family were told that she was a widower. There is a lot of anger, and they try to pick Aarti out of the house, but Yash comes in and takes her, although they are now separated from Yash's parents.
So, now Yash's parents are very angry about this state of affairs, and his father wants to get Aarti out of his life, and so is willing to do whatever it takes. Prashant once comes to meet Ansh in his school, and tries to fill his mind with a lot of stuff about Aarti and Yash, but this leads to a confrontation with Aarti (who slaps Prashant) and then with Yash, who knocks Prashant to the ground. Prashant is very angry and wants revenge, and decides to a file a custody case for Ansh, supported financially by Yash's father.
In the court case, the judge decides to act very strangely, since he treats this as a custody case between Yash and Prashant, one the step-father, the other the biological father instead of taking the normal case of the mother of a young child getting the priority. Finally, since he is not able to decide, there is a wacky scheme whereby both Yash and Prashant are to dress up in animal outfits and Ansh has to decide (totally weird). Finally, after some more drama, Ansh's custody is given to Yash and Prashant swears to continue to make their life miserable.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivaah - Yash puts Aarti's photos on the wall, but ..

In numerous Hindi TV Serials, it has been shown time and time again that relations between a husband and wife is based on truth, and when things are hidden, it can very quickly get problematic. Most of the time what happens is that they show the good wife hiding something from the husband, but not with bad intentions. It could be something that could hurt him, or it was something that she was doing in his favor, or it concerned something in her past that was not told to her husband but there were no other problems as such. It was the same thing in the current serial. When the marriage happened, Yash's family was told that Aarti was married before and was a widow, hiding the fact that her ex-husband was alive (and that she was a divorcee, not a widow). Yash's family wanted a widow for Yash (who was also a widower, not a divorcee) and this was a fact that was hidden from his family. Aarti was very troubled by this fact that the truth was not known to Yash and felt that this could cause problems, even more so when Prashanth came into the picture and even came into Yash's life as a friend.
Over a period of time, Yash had made it clear to Aarti that he was still deeply in love with his ex-wife and that she could never take this position. Aarti was by now deeply in love with Yash but had become reconciled to the fact that her position would always be second, even though Yash was a perfect father to her son, not having a different position from his own daughters. However, one day she suddenly saw a change. The day before Yash had put photos with Aarti on the wall, and she did not see these photos when she went in to the room and lay down, this was a big disappointment to Yash; the next day when Aarti got up, she saw all these photos on the wall and was very happy.
But at the same time, Yash also met the mechanic who had seen both Aarti and Prashant the previous day and got to know from him that she was there earlier, and this could be a big problem since he does not know what is happening, and this leads to suspicion.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - The reason why Yash is so angry is getting revealed

There is a sudden turmoil in the life of Yash and Aarti, a life that was only slowly getting settled. Yash is suddenly behaving very erratically, telling Aarti that he does not want to see her, that she should not come in front of him, and that they essentially have no relation anymore. This is very surprising, since till now, there was a feeling that the relation was improving, that he would get over the memory of his dead wife and accept Aarti as his wife. Even his family had come to believe that Aarti was the best person for him and in fact were urging her on to ensure that Yash comes to forget the strong memory of his dead wife and accept Aarti fully. The children had also come to accept her as their mother and Yash as their father; so this sudden drama was very surprising for everybody.
Things go so serious that the family members, including his mother wanted Aarti to accept that Yash no longer accepted her as his wife and to leave, but slowly things starting getting revealed. They had all gone to Mumbai, and there, due to a fire, Yash has to make a choice in a situation where he had to save Aarti, or to save the precious memories of his dead wife and he made the natural choice of Aarti, and this in turn seems to have turned him very angry. This realization is slowly coming to Aarti that this may have been the reason for the reaction that he is facing.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Tension between the kids and trying to ease tension between Aarti and Yash

Yash remains very deeply in love with his dead wife, and hence even when there was a plan for re-marriage, he saw this to be a wife who would care for his children, and not for himself. At the same time, Aarti was also apprehensive about her re-marriage and whether her son Ansh would be properly loved in the marriage. On this account, she had no hesitation that Yash was a good father, he accepted Ansh as his child and did not differentiate between his own daughters and Ansh.
However, there remains a lot of distance between Yash and Aarti, with any chance of intimacy being denied to a large extent by Yash. He is too much in the memory of his dead wife to give anybody else the chance and in fact once extremely harshly scolded Aarti when he thought that she was trying to take the position of his dead wife. On the other hand, his parents were initially not very comfortable with Aarti, but now realize that she is perfect for him and for the family; also, they do not agree with his views and consider that Aarti and Yash should have a proper loving relationship like a man and wife.
At the same time, there is tension between the children, Palak and Yash, with some school stuff also coming in, with regard to a speech. Yash had written a speech for Ansh, a good speech, but Buaji changed the speech which made Ansh get a scolding in school and Aarti gets blamed for it, believing that she was trying to help Palak so that Palak gets closer to Aarti. Aarti learns that Buaji was the one who did the deed and when confronted, said that she did it since here is Aarti who is a supposed widow and gets re-married while nobody considered this for Buaji. Aarti does not reveal this to anybody since she is struck by what Buaji said. Now both Yash and Aarti are trying to persuade Ansh and Falak to do their best in the school performance.

Hindi TV Serial - Punar Vivah - Marriage between Yash and Aarti, is it over ?

It is always so horrible when shows start on an interesting nature and then before people can get used to the interesting subject being continued in the serial, the makers of the serial put the traditional stuff that is used to increase the time period of serials and keep them ongoing (but nowadays, it is also true that serials that start to get boring suffer a decrease in TRP's which forces the makers of the serials to not resort to traditional stuff and to keep the serial interesting).
Punar Vivaah had a fascinating beginning; after all you have a serial where, in a more modern society, two parents get married, for the sake of their children, not because they want to get married again. So, Yash Sindhia is an interior designer whose wife died, and who is left with 2 young girls to take care of. On the other hand, Aarthi lives with her inlaws, who are also the only relatives she has. Her husband had divorced her to be with another woman, and her inlaws took her side and she lives with them. After some comments at a party, they decide that it is better for her to get re-married and after some events, they finally get her married to Yash (and after some misunderstandings between them).
Yash's mother and father are not really too much in favor of Aarthi, and she gets a lot of pushback from her mother-in-law Gayathri, but things come to a head when her son is kidnapped. While Yash goes to get the son back (and getting injured in the process), things take a different turn in the house where Aarthi speaks out against her inlaws and is turned out of the house. Further, she is made to believe that Yash is in favor of separation while Yash believes that Aarthi was the one who is moving for a separation.
