Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Managing to stop the marriage of Manan and Kaira

The marriage preparations for Manan and Kaira are going on full speed. However, Pankhuri and Adi had a lot of suspicions about Manan, and have come to learn that he has been getting Kaira addicted to drugs. Then, they manage to find out that Latika is also in cahoots with him, and manage to blackmail her to find out more details about Manan, and find out that the family is from Ahemdabad.
On the other hand, the Doctor finds out that Latika is pregnant, and Sheela is shocked when she learns about this. She knows how Latika is actually like, and even though she was ready to use the services of Latika earlier for going against Adi and Pankhuri, she cannot visualize Latika as her daughter-in-law. So, when she finds out, she is shocked, especially since she believed that the marriage was just a temporary arrangement, not an actual wedding.
However, Rubel was initially for an abortion, but then Latika persuades him that the baby could be an emotional argument that would help them, and then Rubel decides that they need to keep the baby. When Sheela tells him that they need to drop the baby, Rubel refuses and says that he will make the decisions with relation to his baby, but does not bother to tell her the reasons for the same.
Pankhuri and Aditya are attempting to find the house of Manan in Ahemdabad, and then find that his father meets them, and has called the police. Manan has spun a story that these people were trying to blackmail him, and the police arrest Pankhuri and Adi. At this point of time, Aditya calls Harish and tells him about the current situation. Harish reaches there, and gets bail papers and manages to get Aditya out of the jail. The police officer is a fan of Harish, which also helps. And then they start discussions with Manan's father, who is very reluctant to accept their story, but they manage to persuade him to come with them. If he is right, they they will be proved wrong, which is the story that they used.
Here, in Diwan mansion, Manan is very confident that nobody will be able to stop him, and that he will manage to marry Kaira and get a stake in the fortune of the family. At the last phera, Aditya screams for everything to stop, and then Manan refuses to admit that the man with them is his father. Some proofs are shown, but Manan even refuses to admit all of these, but finally has to admit that this is his father and he was trying to do this for money. Sheela is shocked, since Manan had also told them that his father had died many years back. And then the police come and take away Manan, with even his own father saying to give him a lot of punishment.
Now, Rubel refuses to accept any responsibility when Anuj mentions that such work should have been done by the brother of Kaira; and both Anuj and Sheela are happy at Pankhuri and Aditya for whatever they have done. 

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Adi still angry with Pankhuri, Kaira in a bad spot

Things are getting complex again in the serial. For some time now, the serial has been reaching towards a point where Pankhuri's family will get to know about her working as a caretaker in the Diwan household and this will cause problems with Adi and Avantika. The only reason why Sheila and Rubel were not able to exploit the situation was because Nanaji had told them that he knew what they were trying, and if he ever got to know that they had done something like this, at that very instant he would donate the mansion to charity and they would be kicked out of the house. This was scary to them, since they wanted the mansion as well (it was very expensive and they could not bear to see the house going away to charity after all the planning and effort they had taken to get Avantika and Adi out of the house).
Now, Avantika had got to know about Pankhuri working as a caretaker, and while she was angry, she was reconciled to this pretty quickly, and gave Sheila a big surprise when she came to the house along with Pankhuri one day, thus ensuring that Sheila and Rubel knew that Avantika knew and it was not that big a problem with her as they had anticipated. However, the situation with Adi was different; he had a hot temper, and when he finally got to know, he was very angry that Pankhuri was doing this behind his back, that she had not told him. He refused to accept apologies from Pankhuri, and even though she had sent him flowers, he still taunted her after he came home. He used her own words after she came home, telling her that one should not cause harm to one's own loved ones.
In the mansion, things are becoming very strange with Kaira and Manan. Pankhuri is starting to suspect that there are some problems with Manan, but it is difficult to say anything since Kaira is very angry if anybody says anything to her. Sheila is trying to start the work for her marriage, trying to arrange some good boys for her; but the problem is that Kaira really does not listen to Sheila, and Manan is also screwing up things further by getting her involved with drugs. By this time, Kaira is getting hooked onto drugs, which is causing her to behave even more strongly.
So, on a day when Sheila has invited the family of a very eligible boy to the home, Kaira is nowhere to be seen. Sheila is frantic and asks Pankhuri for help, and Pankhuri can see that Kaira is standing by the side of the road, totally out of it. Pankhuri has to go to Kullu with Adi for Dadaji's birthday celebrations, and helping Kaira will make her late. She does take Kaira, and by this time, Sheila has handled the situation, asking the boy's family to come the next day and Sheila wants to ensure that Kaira will be there.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - The sudden marriage of Rubel and Latika, and pain to Anuj and Sheila

After a time period where the serial showed the stars of Rubel and Sheila Mami being on the ascent, and Avantika and family being out of the Dewan mansion, the serial started showing something reverse. For quite some time, viewers of the serial would already know that the best way that the serial would show an answer would be for Sheila and Anuj to realize the problems that they are facing, since Rubel seems to have taken the values that they have given him to a higher degree. They have no respect for parents and for relatives, so to expect that Rubel would give them respect is foolish, but the serial is now starting to show them facing all these problems. One of the biggest issues for them was when Rubel came to them and told them that he is now engaged to Latika, and since Sheila mami knows exactly what Latika is like, she was horrified. She would be looking for a daughter-in-law who would be docile, who would listen to everything that she was saying.
Now, with Pankhuri in the mansion as a caretaker (appointed by Kaira, since Sheila would never have allowed such a thing), the best way for Sheila and Rubel to get pleasure would be tell the news to Avantika and Aditya that their beloved Pankhuri is now acting as their servant, but Nanaji has put a stop to that. He knows what will pinch them, and has told them that if they are ever responsible for Aditya or Avantika learning this news, he will immediately donate the mansion to a charity and they will not be able to do anything about it, and this will go against their plan.
So, Sheila is now searching for a plan where she can arrange so that Aditya or Avantika can learn the situation about Pankhuri without telling them directly, but so far all her plans are failing. And yet, this is her goal. In the meantime, Aditya and Pankhuri discuss Rubel behaving strangely with the company lawyer, him being very uncomfortable with what Rubel is asking him to do. Pankhuri finally manages to get to his office and sees Rubel there, and threatens him with the name of Nanaji. He reveals that Rubel is looking to get a contract marriage, with the marriage getting dissolved in some time, till they can get the mansion in their name.
Pankhuri and Aditya want to tell this to Nanaji, and Sheila is shocked when she hears of this. She tries to stop them, but they come to the mansion and tell Nanaji, and he is not as shocked, but threatens that he will take action. And then Rubel comes in, having decided to take an action which is drastic, and very shocking to his parents. They were uncomfortable with the engagement, but were told that it was just for a period of time; and now Rubel comes in with Latika, with both of them wearing garlands, and tells everybody that they have got married. Everybody is shocked, and tells them off, but Rubel could not care. Even when his parents confront him in the room, he is very rude, which shocks Anuj, since it is the first time that he sees how Rubel actually is, he is focused towards getting what he wants and could not care for any relations. Latika on the other hand is focused towards her goals, and even while re-assuring Sheila, she is waiting for the day when she gets 50% of the mansion in her name.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Pankhuri joins as caretaker of the Diwan house

The serial is going from bad to worse, with the storyline being totally unrealistic. In reality, in life, there are people who are more evil or less evil, and even in the Geeta, it says that when somebody is behaving badly, it is your responsibility to ensure that these people get their just deserts. If you don't say anything to them and  let them do what you want, then you are equally guilty and shirking your duty. In the serial, ever since Avantika backed down up Atul's demand and handed over all signing powers to him, their family has been going through a total downturn. It is great to say that you want to stay with your husband and make your own destiny rather than take from your father, but it is a very regressive talk. For any person, it is their right to get what their father has created, whether you be a son or daughter. However, the serial has totally gone off this track, and presented a picture where when a daughter reconciles with her husband, she rejects everything that her father has given. Further, when you are running a company where your customers and employees work and depend on the company, it is sheer irresponsibility to hand over the running of the company to something who is not at all suitable. Even worse, you are leaving your father in the hands of people who are ruthless, and who can do anything to get what they want.
So, as part of their plan to get total control of the house, Sheela and Rubel do further planning. They do not like the presence of Shanky in the house, since he is somebody who keeps on reminding them about how things were better in the past, and is likely to not follow what you say, and hence they get Shanky kicked out of the house. And Nanaji, behaving like how Neville Chamberlain totally gave into Hitler, has only one aim; even though he keeps on threatening that he is still the owner and can make things right, keeps on giving into what Anuj and Sheela wanted, and keeps on asking them for more pain under which he will not buckle. They have already done whatever they wanted, kicked out everybody else from the house, done things in the house that he would not have liked, and yet everybody let them do what they wanted.
Finally, somebody good in the family came. Kaira, the daughter of Sheela, and who is apparently on the good side, was tasked with appointing a caretaker for the house, and through a chance, finally ended up appointing Pankhuri as the caretaker of the house. Nanaji was shocked at this, since he is sure that nobody in the house will like it, and Rubel will literally almost torture her until she decides to leave. And then when Rubel comes in, a side of him is excited, since this is the way for him to do a full round of torture of Pankhuri until he has got his revenge and she leaves. And of course, since Adi does not know, with his temper, he will literally erupt.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - More trouble for Aditya and Pankhuri

Seems very strange to see a good serial suddenly start turning into unending tragedy. And this is what is happening with the serial, with maybe the urge to keep the story of the serial extending on and on ensuring that the serial seems stretched now. Initially the serial used to move fast, with the storyline moving fast, and now the serial seems to be stretching the same story till its gets boring. In the serial as well, right now, it seems that we can easily change the channel and not miss the story, with sequences getting repeated again and again.
The serial right is focusing on the concept that real happiness can only come with some sorrow, that everything has to be matched. If a family finds happiness, that can only be short term, and that audiences are only attracted when the serial starts showing pain and sorrow. And so it is happening in the serial. When Avantika and Harish are coming together after so many years of separation, and when Aditya and Pankhuri are also getting close to each other, they are going through a lot of problems in the monetary and business sense.
The trio of Anuj, Sheela and Rubel, when combined with the additional power of Latika are up to more and more issues so that they can keep on getting Avantika and Aditya in more trouble and get everything back. Sheela believes that she is the true owner of everything, and that if Avantika has anything, then it rightfully belongs to Sheela. And for some reason, Avantika has sat back and let all this happen to her (which is such a wrong message to give to viewers - the Gita says that you should not let wrong happen, and here Avantika keeps on letting wrong happen to them). The character of Nanaji can see everything that is happening, and what does he do - he believes that since Sheela and Rubel will not stop, it would be easier for Aditya to move away from there so that he does not get hurt with all this that is happening. This is a perfectly wrong message to give to viewers - but so many serials show something similar happening.
In the current case, they are starting to suffer for money. Harish's account is badly depleted because of the money spent on the illness, they money is in the family business that they have voluntary handed over to Anuj, and now Avantika wants to hand over everything else to Sheela as well. The fundamental concept of having responsibility for what you are doing is gone - they were running the business and responsible to their customers and their employees, and could not care as to what would happen to these people when the running of the company is handed over to such irresponsible people such as Anuj and Rubel.
Now, when Rubel was having a party in the house, Avantika came there and confronted him, and slapped him when he went beyond a limit, and now Rubel badly wants revenge, his ego cannot take this.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Aditya leaves the house after Nanaji asks him to go

The serial is going through a strange set of circumstances. Sheela is so focused on getting everything with herself that she is willing to do whatever is required to push everybody else out of the house. They played upon Avantika's mood for ensuring that the family is reconciled, and ended up passing over all powers to Anuj; including the power of attorney and the right to take all decisions. However, this is not enough for Sheela, since she wants to ensure that Avantika is pushed out of the house and Sheela has exclusive rights of the house.
Anuj learns that the house is willed to the wives of Aditya and Rubel, and she is not happy enough with this; she wants to ensure that the entire house is handed over to Rubel, and for that, she is even willing to try and break the marriage of Aditya and Pankhuri. So, when Aditya and Pankhuri start their drama of acting like they are fighting (and blaming the bad condition of  the marriage of Avantika and Harish), Sheela is very happy since she believes that she can leverage on this condition and finally get them separated. However, she is very distressed when she learns that both Aditya and Pankhuri were just doing a drama and they called off the drama after the party (where Harish was hospitalized, and then finally Avantika learned about the medical illness, and about how Harish had not moved on, just did not want to tell her about this condition which could have ended his life in a short time).
However, things get more problematic. Sheela is trying to figure out more plans for how to get them all out of the house so that she can take control of the house. She starts another master plan, and this one is one where she also needs the cooperation of Latika as well. The plan is to happen in the party where Avantika is doing all the cooking, with the party happening in Harish's house. During the middle of some games, Latika moves out of the area and then Aditya gets a call. The reception is not clear and he moves to another room to take the call, and also closes the door because of the noise in the party.
Then everybody hears a scream, and Rubel rushes in and sees Latika on the bed and Aditya in the room and accuses Aditya of making designs on his fiancee, since Aditya has never forgotten her. This discussion and argument continues on in Diwan mansion, where Rubel says that he will break the marriage since he cannot trust when both Aditya and Latika are in the same house. He says that he wants Nanaji to take a decision on this one, and then Nanaki takes a most surprising decision. Probably since Nanaji knows the true nature of both Sheela and Rubel, he tells Aditya that he should leave for his dad's house and not stay here anymore.
Aditya is shocked and cannot understand what is happening, and how can his Nana suddenly call this house not his house any more. In his anger, he tells Pankhuri to quickly pack so that they can leave immediately, and when Pretti mousi tries to object, he does not listen.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Avantika signs over all her rights to Anuj

The serial is going through a lot of drama, and with some actions that seem totally incredible. One of the major complexities of the serial have been resolved, but with still some questions. And some other actions that were taken in the serial seemed very strange, with one not being sure as to why they happened. The whole principle of the separation of Avantika and Harish was finally resolved, after Pankhuri and Aditya had managed to located Kailash (the past lover of Pretty Mausi, who had made her pregnant and left; and for whom Harish had arranged to get an abortion - it was this abortion whose papers Avantika had found and which had let to the separation between them). Now that this was resolved, one basic question remained about why neither Harish or Preety had told Avantika the truth - any possible impact to Preety would be far less than the long separation between Harish and Avantika.
It is after this truth comes out that Mami and Anuj Mama make their move; when Avantika finally announces that she welcomes Pankhuri as her daughter-in-law and makes a much more happy face. However, this happiness is not to last more than one day, since Sheila Mami incites Anuj to make his move and he does so the next day. He tells Avantika that he cannot tolerate insults to his family anymore and will leave the house unless Avantika agrees to his terms. And what are his terms ? He wants all responsibility to be turned over to him - with him being the decision maker in the business and in the family, that the power of attorney be turned over to him, and so on. Pankhuri is shocked at this power grab being made by Anuj Mama, but Avantika agrees to this and decides to sign the papers that Anuj has already prepared.
When Nana and Preety Mausi get to know, they are also shocked and very angry, angry at both Anuj for making such demands and at Avantika for agreeing to such terms. They know that Mami is not good and are worried about what the future will bring. In the meantime, Avantika is making her peace with her mother-in-law and also wants to go back to Harish's house. Mami is very happy, since she wants all of them to leave the house and for her to be in command of the house. She is also trying to figure out how to also get Preety Mausi to leave by encouraging her to get married.
There is also a lot of discussion going on about getting Preeti to resume her relationship with Kailash, but his wife Vedika also lands there and has a discussion with Preeti Mausi, in which she tells Preety Mausi that she should let Kailash go and not try to resume her relationship with Kailash.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Trying to identify Preeti Mausi's lover

The serial has taken the conflict between Avantika and Harish to a high degree. This is the second or third time that the episode is coming up in the serial and each time it comes when there is some chance in the serial for Harish to Avantika to come together. This time it is because of the machinations of Mami, who hires a lady from Kullu to come in and pretend that she was Harish's lover and Harish had got her pregnant earlier. After some time of this discussion, she is proved wrong, but this causes Preeti to come in and say that Harish had got her abortion done; and the suspicions shifts towards the belief that Preeti and Harish were having an affair, which makes things even worse for Harish in Avantika's eyes. To believe in the fact that your husband and your sister is having an affair and that your sister has become pregnant because of that affair can make things look very horrid. As a result, Avantika is no longer on speaking terms with both Harish and Preety.
Adi is taking all this pretty badly and does not think well of his father and Mausi now, but over a period of time, he learns that it was not his father but (in a great coincidence) that it was Pankhuri's younger chacha, Kailash Gupta, who was the one who made Preeti Mausi pregnant, and hence these 2 decide to set out for their honeymoon, but instead go off to Kullu to track Kailash and to get more truth behind all these facts (although why Preeti would not reveal all this to the family is strange - does she prefer that they believe that she had an affair with Harish rather than with an outsider, which would atleast mollify Avantika to a great degree - there seems like something still to be revealed in this story).
Mami of course believes that Adi and Pankhuri are trying to solve this story, and so she decides to go after them to change or spoilt what they are doing, and takes a taxi to go to Kullu (and the serial tries to show some comedy in terms of the taxi that she is using). Now, Pankjuri and Adi have indeed found Kailash, who is married to a lady who knows about his past affair with Preeti, but when Kailash is pushed, he denies that he knew that Preeti was pregnant, else he would never have left her.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Woman turns up to confront Harish about affair

The serial is finally reaching a disclosure point. Adi has always been afraid of relationships because of the break between his parents, something which has caused him a lot of pain. Some weeks back, it was revealed that the reason that Avantika was so angry with Harish and broke up with him was because of his signature on an abortion request in a hospital many years back, something that Avantika saw. When Avantika asked Harish about this, he refused to say anything which reinforced her suspicion that Harish was having an affair. When this came up recently and Adi heard about this, he also confronted his father who also refused to provide him any more details; this made Adi so angry that he broke off his engagement.
After this, due to a problem at the marriage of Pankhuri, Adi steps in and gets married to Pankhuri. This causes some problems in both sets of families, but things are getting resolved to some extent. The attack on Pankhuri makes Avantika worried about Pankhuri, and she unbends enough to get more friendly with Pankhuri, telling Pankhuri that there is no reason for Pankhuri to be afraid of Avantika.
The joker in the whole pack is Mami, who is very angry over the fact that the family business is basically being run by Avantika, and her husband, the son of the house seems to have a secondary position. This is increased by the fact that Adi is involved in the business, seems to be running well, and recently Nanaji also stated that if Avantika and Harish are reconciled, he will gladly hand over the whole business to them. So Mami does some sleuthing, gets into the safe of Avantika, and gets the abortion document which has the signature of Harish.
Next, at the actual celebration of the 25th wedding anniversary of Harish and Avantika, Mami has arranged a surprise. She gets some lady (from Kullu) to come and harass Harish about being his love, about being the one who he was having an affair with, and finally makes the statement with the abortion document. Now, Avantika has already seen the abortion document, and hence this makes it somewhat believable, but this is when Preeti steps in and declares that the abortion was of her.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - 15 days are up, Pankhuri attacked

The serial is finally getting over the 15 day interval that was prescribed before Adi and Pankhuri could come together. During this time, there was some drama, including the fact that Mami was suspicious about why Nanaji was wanting to change his will (she was very suspicious that Nanaji wanted to write out Rubel from the will). So, Rubel and she decided to get the will out of his safe in the night (she had already got keys made for the same) and they took the will out, read it (and all it did was to add Pankhuri to the will). However, during this event, first Pankhuri and then Nanaji saw Rubel with the will, and he was very angry, asking Rubel about how Rubel managed to get inside his safe. Rubel was equally angry about his property now had Pankhuri also being added to the claimants, since she was an outsider. The net result was that Mami realized that Rubel is no longer in the good books of Nanaji, and it would be only Avantika who could ensure that things were fine for him now.
The next major event that turned things around was the attack on Pankhuri. When Pankhuri, Avantika and Nanaji were traveling to the court, some hoodlums tried to get involved. The idea was to ensure that at that time, Rubel would get involved along with some friends to save these, but this backfired. The hoodlums got provoked by the action of Pankhuri and Nanaji and attacked both of them, with Pankhuri getting injured badly enough to require hospitalization. This was a shocker, with the family badly shocked by this, and since they also had the details of the license and car which was involved, they are also working with the police to identify the people involved. Adi was shocked, else he would have remembered that Rubel had threatened Pankhuri since she was not willing to take the case back.
Now the preparations are on for the 25th wedding anniversary of Harish and Avantika, with everybody looking forward to this. In the meantime, Mami, using her power of the stolen keys, had got to know that the reason for the separation of Harish and Avantika was the abortion that Harish had gotten for somebody and is now figuring out the best point to make use of this information.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Aditya comes to take Pankhuri, she refuses, he gets angry

Some of what happens in the serial is a bit beyond the ordinary, more absurd than you would normally expect. So, for example, soon after a marriage happened that was a surprise to almost everybody else, the mother of the groom put forward a condition that anybody would have refused. For a newly married couple, if somebody puts a condition that they stay apart for 15 days without meeting each other, it can be very strange. However, in the serial, they all agree to this and Aditya and Pankhuri agree to stay apart for 15 days on the condition laid down by Avantika.
And Pankhuri has to stay in Avantika's house where there are a number of people ready to insult her and her family at any minute, with Avantika not scheming but not at all friendly; and Mama Mami along with Rubel scheming against Avantika, Aditya and Pankuri; and nobody seems to be knowing all this. So Mami keeps on doing something or the other, such as insulting Pankhuri's family in a bad way. Finally, there was a huge argument with Pankuri's Mamaji replying back in the same way.
Nanaji already knows that Mami and Mama are upto no good and finally tells Aditya about what happened in the house and tells him to get Pankhuri from the house, forget the condition, and setup a different house. That would be the only way for them to have a successful married life. However, when Aditya arrives there, Pankhuri, wanting to ensure that they keep to the agreement refuses to meet Adi and shuts the door on him. Aditya is very angry and goes away by saying that he will not only not speak to her for 15 days, but will not speak to her or meet her ever. This makes everybody very surprised about what Aditya just said, but he refuses to listen to anybody. In Harish's house, Harish scolds him that he is proving right what others are saying about them not being able to have a successful marriage.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Condition set by Avantika that Adi and Pankhuri stay apart for 15 days

The serial is showing a twist that not too many people who would have thought would have happened. Not telling Avantika about the marriage was a step that was always fraught with risk, since it was impossible to think that she would not find out in the end (especially with Pankhuri's family also involved); the only point being how long this relation would remain hidden, and whether Mama-mami would find out about this before Avantika and seek to make some benefit out of this. However, Avantika found about the marriage when Pankhuri's parents and other relatives came there to see Pankhuri and how she was faring in her new home (they were not particularly pleased with the marriage because of what had happened earlier).
When Avantika found out, she did a lot of question and answer about the marriage, calling Adi there and asking him about the circumstances of the marriage. The initial fear was that Adi would have got married without his permission, having been pushed into the marriage, but Adi denied all this and stated that the marriage happened because he jumped into the gap when Shivam was stepping back. Avantika also expressed the worry that this was a marriage between 2 very different people and hence it would not last much and she did not want Adi to go through the same pain as she went through.
As a result, she set the condition that she wanted both of these to stay separately for 15-20 days right in the beginning, something that no one was really happy about. Harish managed to get the condition slightly modified so that Pankhuri would stay with Avantika while Adi would stay with Harish. There was some strain between Aditya and her parents, but that reduced when Ambika suffered an injury and Adi took some quick action to help her. However,  the biggest issue right now is that both of them are somewhat unsure of their relationship and love with each other, they consider each other to be a very big friend of the other, but does this extend to a husband and wife relation. Maybe it does, but they are not able to express this to each other. And then there is the cousin, Ruben, who is the son of Mama-Mami who got into a tiff with Pankhuri over a local accident and had to spend some time at the police station and who considers all the property and business to something that he has full rights over.

As expected, the marriage between Pankhuri and Adi has happened. The marriage was supposed to be between Shivam and Pankhuri, but Latika spoiled (or rather, did good for Pankhuri) the marriage since she incited people that Pankhuri had spent the night in the same room as Aditya in Mumbai (which Shivam had already known, and was angry over); the net result was that the marriage was called off with the prospect of Pankhuri and her family getting a bad name due to all this.
However, Aditya was there and realized that this was all due to him and married Pankhuri, although one is not sure whether he is still shocked over what happened. He did not tell anybody about this, and with his phone not on, nobody was also able to get in touch with him. He reached Harish's place and gave them a shock, since they saw Pankhuri and Aditya married (they were all very happy) with some of the welcome festivities happening in Harish's house with his mom in charge.
However, Avantika was still not aware of what had happened in Kullu, and would have been shocked that her son had got married to Pankhuri. At the same time, her sister Preeti fell ill, and they were all taking care of her. Mami and Mama were very curious to know what happened in the marriage and Mami went to Latika's house to find out what happened, but her mother refused to tell her anything and told her to get out of the house, something which really caused Mami to get upset. Now, the big issue is about when Avantika will get to know that her son is now married to Pankhuri, and that her son told this to Harish and not to her.

The serial is taking an interesting turn, moving the story on its head. So far the lead characters of Aditya and Pankhuri were moving away from each other, with each of them supposed to marry different people - Aditya was supposed to be marrying Latika while Pankuri was supposed to be marrying Shivam. The marriage of Pankhuri and Shivam was a pressure marriage, with family pressure causing the marriage. On the other and, the marriage of Adi and Latika was supposed to happen because they were of the right social class for the marriage, and were right for each other.
However, things did not turn out this way. The marriage of Adi and Latika was abruptly ended because of a major fight between Harish and Avantika during the mehendi ceremony, and as a result, Adi got so angry that he called off his own marriage, leaving both Latika and her mother surprised and angry. In fact, they were in a problem financially and hence needed the marriage to happen. So Latika told her mother that she will do something to ensure that it happens.
Soon after Adi and Nana played a trick to get harish and Avantika together again, with the premise that Adi had been kidnapped while he was hiding away. Pankhuri got to know and went to meet him and Latika also found out from Pankhuri and went to meet him as well. On the way back, there were riots and hence Pankhuri had to come back because of security reasons and spent the night in his room (and you know that there will be a lot of problems because of this).
The next day Latika stated that Aditya had assaulted her, but then Pankhuri managed to save the situation by stating how she was in the room all night, thus preventing the claim from Latika. Shivam also reached the place at the same time, and was shocked to hear this.
What will happen now is that Pankhuri's marriage to Shivam will get broken because of accusations that she had an affair with Adi, and Adi will turn up in Kullu to save her reputation and will marry her.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - High drama at the wedding, Adi calls of the wedding

A few episodes back, the serial revealed the reason for the anger that Avantika felt for her ex-husband Harish. She had seen a document related to an abortion, and because of that, she left him because he was having an affair with somebody else, and this is the tension that continued between them, and which probably made her so bitter for such a long time. And this news will come out a time that is most inopportune, and so it did, at the occasion of the festivites related to the marriage of their son, Aditya, with Latika.
At the mehendi ceremony where Pankhuri had tried to get the family together, including even getting Avantika and Harish to do a dance together, tempers flared between them, with an angry Harish telling Avantika about how she always felt that she was right, and that she was the one who moved away from him, which led to the separation. Eventually, this provoked Avantika enough that she revealed the secret about why she had moved out, because Harish had an affair. Before Harish could say too much more about this further, Adi had got angry enough about the fight between them that he declared that he did not want to get married because if this how a marriage is like, he did not want to get married.
This shocked everybody, but the ceremony was now over. After some time, Adi decided that he wanted to know the truth, and went to Harish's house to find out the truth, but Harish refused to provide any more details. If there was indeed not an affair, then one probable reason was that Harish was covering up for somebody else who was close, and even now, after so many years, he would not want to reveal any more details of what had happened.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara...- Marriage preparations are on, but ..

The serial is a fast moving serial, not like many other serials which take a lot of time to move from one point to point. The serial is primarily the story of Aditya, whose parents Avantika and Harish separated a long time back bitterly and who are not exactly the best of friends now. Over this, Adi no longer really believes that a marriage is a relationship that is meant for him, and lives life as per his terms. Because of the history of his family, where his mother Avantika is also a businesswoman and far richer than his father, he also does not have exposure to many customs and rituals. His mother's father, played by Mukesh Khanna is far more traditional in terms of believing in relationships, and such, but is not able to make the impression he would like. Since Adi stays with Avantika, he is not so very close to his dad, but otherwise respects him.
Adi goes to Kullu and meets Pankhuri, who is a well mannered girl. His grandfather and her family want this relationship to happen, but there are misunderstandings because of which Adi takes the whole thing negatively. But by the end of his trip, he does not carry negative feelings and becomes friends with Pankhuri. However, this would have stopped there, but Pankhuri's studies causes her to come to Mumbai for internship and after some disturbances, she starts staying in Adi's house at the instance of his grandfather. Avantika really does not like this, and does not speak nicely to her most times.
Avantika also does not like any closeness between Adi and Pankhuri and wants Adi to marry Latika, and after some taunts and the like, Pankhuri pushes him for this marriage and the marriage is set. However, Adi really does not have any kind of love for Latika, and both of them feel that they are close to each other (Adi and Pankhuri) in some way. Adi's Mama and Mami also try to play a negative role overall, with his Mami wanting to get back at Avantika in some way or the other.
