Balika Vadhu - Things get very serious, Sanchi does drama of committing suicide

Balika Vadhu is getting very serious currently. The sudden view of the breaking off of relations between Jagya and Sanchi is causing huge upheavals, not only in the life of Jagya and Sanchi, but also in the life of Anandi. Any anger that people have towards Jagya and his family is also coming out in front of Anandi, especially from the perspective of Ira, who is putting all the blame for whatever happened on Anandi and the family.
So, when Sanchi came back after seeing Jagya put sindoor on Ganga, she was shocked, but not fully defeated. Even though her family was very angry at Jagya and did not want anything more to do with him, Sanchi still believed in getting Jagya for herself, and was looking for more strategies that would help ensure that Jagya came back to her and not go to Ganga. She even rationalized that just putting Sindoor does not make it a marriage and if things can be prevented from going further, then she should do this. And what better way to force somebody to come to her side than by putting on a huge emotional drama, the act of committing suicide. After all, this is a time tested formula that would work and ensure that she would get the sympathy of everybody, including Jagya.
However, on the other side, Jagya had also realized that he had put Ganga in a strange situation by putting Sindoor on her, since this was still not marriage. His mother and Dadisa were very angry with him and did not want him in the house, but Bhairon went to meet him to understand what had happened, and finally ended up accepting what he had. So, Jagya finally had a formal marriage with Ganga, to his mother's disappointment and fury. However, Bhairon prevented Sumitra from stopping the marriage which happened in a temple in front of a pandit with the havan and everything else.
In the meantime Sanchi tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrists, with the door open so that it would not convert into a reality, and Anandi saw her in time and alerted everyone so that she could be taken to the hospital before tragedy could occur. However, this was a huge shock to everyone and the anger towards Jagya had increased a lot; since this was obviously because of Jagya backing out of the marriage that this attempt at suicide had happened, and Anandi also got caught up in this one. Ira was extremely angry, and when Bhairon and Dadisa came there to express their sympathy, she was still very angry and also curt with Anandi, virtually threatening them that this would have a bad impact on Anandi as well, that her presence in the house was under threat because of all this. Even though Alok tried to counsel her, she was not really listening.
Instead, when she heard that Jagya had gotten married to Ganga, she was even more angry and lashed out at Anandi for whatever happened, for revealing things from her married family. Sanchi was also shocked when she heard about this marriage, since this meant that now Jagya would not have a change of mind and would not come back to her. In this situation, the threat of using the police for charging Jagya with abetting the suicide attempt of Sanchi was the game that would be played.

Hindi TV Serial - Diya Aur Bati Hum - Tension in the house as Suraj not yet come for Rakhi

There is a lot of tension in the house. Even though Suraj and Sandhya have left the house, it is time for Rakhi and everybody is expecting that since this is Chavvi's last rakhi before she leaves after marriage, it will be a grand celebration. And since both Mohit and Vikram are not earning all that much, they are not really in a position to do a grand celebration. So, it all boils down to Suraj doing his duty.
However, there has to be drama shown in the serial and so you see the case where after doing their purchasing of a good diamond jewelery item in the shop in Mt. Abu, both Suraj and Sandhya are stuck in a lift due to a power cut. It is late and they realize that nobody can listen to them since they are stuck inside the lift. They try their best to see how they can get the lift opened, but it does not work. So, they are now settled inside the lift for the night, hoping that they can get out in the morning.
In the meantime, in the Rathi house, the usual system of taunting is ongoing. Meena knows that both Mohit and Emily don't have much money, and so she tells them that they would be unable to do anything for the rakhi celebration for Chhavi, in a way that they hear. Bhabho also hears this, and to ensure that Emily does not feel hurt, she gives a gold earring to Emily so that this can be presented to Chhavi by Emily. Emily is happy that she seems to have made a place in Bhabho's heart even though Mohit remains distant from her.
In another discussion, Bhabho have been having a discussion with Vikram and Mohit about the celebration for Chhavi, but both of them claim that they do not have much money and hence cannot contribute too much. And in the midst of all this is ongoing conversation about why Suraj has not turned up yet. There is some taunting that Suraj and Sandhya have gone for a vacation, and hence would not be back. And then Meena's mother comes in with another bit of news that Suraj had bought a necklace worth Rs. 55,000 for Sandhya. Everybody is shocked at this, with Mohit even suggesting that the sweet shop was actually in the name of Bhabho and hence the money from the shop should be given to Bhabho rather than Suraj spending it for Sandhaya. Bhabho is listening to all this, but is not yet ready to defend Suraj on all this.
In the meantime, finally Suraj and Sandhya get free from their imprisonment in the lift, and rush out. They take a jeep, getting the taxi jeep to move fast by playing on his going to miss the rakhi festival. In the meantime, in the house, there are a lot of questions about the 3 rakhis on the plate, since it would seem to everybody that Suraj is not going to be able to make it to the house in time. And then they hear a noise of a procession from outside, and it is Suraj and Sandhya; and when Suraj enters the house, he gives a necklace to Chhavi, with this being a gold necklace that was the one that he apparently purchased from the jeweller shop.

Hindi TV Serial - Diya Aur Bati Hum - Suraj and Sandhya leave the home, Bhabho riding on her ego

The first sign of a split in the household, but the makers of the serial are also trying to convey that this is not the intent of the serial. After all, for the past few episodes, they have shown 2 conflicting points - Suraj badly wants to ensure that Sandhya lives upto the ambition of her parents and herself and becomes an IPS officer. Sandhya also wants that, but is hesitant to go with full effort towards this goal. Due to her realization of the time that Bhabho tried to give her liqour chocolates so that she would miss the exam, she realized that Bhabho desperately wants to ensure that Sandhya remains the bahu of the house, and not give into the quest to become an IPS office. She is reluctant to break this hope of Bhabho, but at the same time, Suraj has invested a lot of his emotions in ensuring that she lives upto her dreams, and hence is caught in this conflict. Bhabasa learns all this when he questions her about her not trying her best in the final round of the show, and finally tells her that she must live upto the dreams of everybody and Suraj will handle Bhabho. Well, she does win the show and comes home to a time of a lot of tension.
As usual, when she comes home, Meena has done a lot to stir the pot. She got some of the neighbors to come to the house for the welcoming of Sandhya after winning the contest, and also tried to provoke Bhabho by referring to the third pot which will now not be broken. At this, Bhabhasa tells her to take the pot to her room and ensure that it does not break. However, Bhabho is in a highly angry mood and even refuses the sweet that has been prepared by Chaturi in celebration of the win; and this win means that there is no further effort from Bhabho's side to prepare for the contest.
Bhabho later taunts Suraj for solely trying to fulfil the wishes of his wife, but he tells her that this is unfair. When he did for others, he was a good brother, a good son, but when he tries to do for his wife, he is now suddenly become a slave to his wife. However, he tells Bhabho that since things are bad between them now, he will leave the house. Everybody in the house is shocked and try to stop him, but Bhabho is so angry right now that she says that if they want to leave, they should leave. He tells Bhabho that he believes that she will come to take him in 15 days only (and with the kind of other children that she has, it will be in less than 15 days that she would realize his true worth), but Bhabho tells him that she will not come to take him in. When Sandhya objects, he tells her that this is not because of her and she has to leave the house as well.
Things are otherwise difficult in the house. Emily and Mohit are tense because Mohit is short of money and was hoping that Emily might win something, after all, Bhabho could come to him anytime for the money; and even otherwise Meena should be totally distraught since that means most of the money needed for running the house should now come from Vikram, and Meena would be horrified at that. Bhabho already knows the kind of lies that her own daughter Chavi can say, since she had tested this out and determined this.

Hindi TV Serial - Meri Bhabhi - Planning for the anniversary party of Kittu and Anand

The serial is starting out with the best of feelings between the sister-in-laws of the family. On the one side is Shraddha, who has been ditched by her husband Bobby, and on the other side is Kittu, married to Shraddha's brother Anand. Ever since Kittu found about the condition of Shraddha, she is providing a great deal of support to Shraddha, ensuring that she did not get into a depression. However, like any other serial, there is an awful lot of temptation to try to make the serial more attractive to viewers who want masala in their life, and hence there are a couple more negative characters in the serial. One of them is the mother of Kittu, Kamini who believes that the presence of Shraddha will have a bad impact on her daughter and her marriage and even otherwise does not seem to have any sympathy for Shraddha. Also, the other daughter-in-law of the family, Jaya, also does not like the presence of Shraddha in the house, while for everybody else in the house, having Shraddha there is the logical outcome of her current position.
Shraddha suffered an even bigger shock because of the re-arrival of Bobby. The family wanted to talk to Bobby, Shraddha's husband who had left her, to figure out what is going on in their relationship and why they are separated. So everybody is very happy when Bobby comes to the house, and is very apologetic over what happened. They feel that now Shraddha will be happy, and so will be their son who is badly missing his father, and then Bobby reveals his problems. He tells them that he wants to have Shraddha with him and is trying to arrange for a place to stay, and trying to arrange for money for the same.
Believing him, everybody feels sympathy for him; Kittu wants to make things better for Shraddha, and without telling her husband, she forces Bobby to accept lakhs of rupees. Shraddha's parents also ask Bobby to take some money from them; all this without telling Anand. Anand does not believe what Bobby is saying, and wants to make clear that they can only trust him so much. And Bobby proves Anand right, by running away with the money that he got from them. But Anand and Shraddha pursue him to Bombay, and find him with another lady, telling her that if he now wants to get more money, he will come and get more money from Shraddha. Anand gets angry at Bobby, and when Bobby makes some bad comments about Shraddha, he beats him up with Bobby trying to escape from him.
Now Shraddha is sure that there is no going back, especially after hearing what Bobby was saying about her. She decides that there is no other option than to divorce Bobby, and tells the family about this decision.
On the other side, Kittu is reminder by her mom about the upcoming anniversary celebration, and talks to Anand about this. He is angry and claims that with all this happening to Shraddha, how could she even think about the anniversary. However, he later realizes that he should not have acted like this, and decides to get her a present. Kamini decides to hold the anniversary party, and then discourages Shraddha from attending, but this will surely lead to a lot of drama.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade acche Lagte Hain - An accident in which Ram and Priya are impacted

The serial is waiting to unveil a 20 year timeleap again, and the way it goes on right now, it would seem that the situation before the leap would show Ram and Piya separated and separated for a long period of time. For the past few episodes, the serial has been showing a situation where there is growing tension between Ram and Priya. Ram is running into a lot of tension due to the situation with his family, whereby Nuts does not believe in him anymore and believes that Priya was the one who caused all this problem. Further, his own brother Rishabh has now started treating him like a step-brother and wants to lead a separate life, with his own responsibilities and his own life and also keeping Ram at a distance. Ram also starts taunting Priya that she will always assume the mantle of being right and giving him a lecture all the time on what is right and what is wrong. Further, Priya and Somya try to show Rishab the truth and hence Somya is playing a drama, but things become clear to everybody, which makes Rishabh very angry with Soumya and Ram very angry with Priya (and all these items are not supposed to do anything to lower her tension, apparently very necessary in the current state of her pregnancy). Things are going from bad to worse and even Neha and Vikram are unable to really make things better. So they setup a plan where they get both Ram and Priya (along with Pihu) on the same flight, the flight to Singapore where hopefully they will forget about their differences and reconcile to each other.
So, Natasha wants a divorce from Karthik. Even though she believes that she still loves him a lot, she was very hurt over the situation when Karthik was recovering from his coma and coming out of the coma, and seemed to respond to touching from Jhanvi rather than Natasha, which hurt her terribly. Since she now realizes that maybe Karthik is actually more interested in Jhanvi than her, and hence she decides to go for a separation and divorce from Karthik although he pleads with her not to do this.
So, Neha and Vikram setup a plan whereby Neha tries a ladies holiday to Singapore (apparently she is fit enough to travel on a plane even though in pregnancy, many doctors do not easily agree to let their patients travel for long distances) while Vikram talks about a necessary meeting in Singapore, and both of them get them on the plane (and switch off their mobile phones so that Ram and Priya cannot call them and complain about what they have done). However, the ice between the two has not yet melted, and then everybody in India gets to know that the plane has crashed. And they show both Ram and Priya in wounded positions in the aftermath of the plane crash, lying on the ground, with plane debris and other people lying around them. Will they be now separated for 20 years ? Given that it is a Balaji serial, this is very much possible.

Hindi TV Serial - Saraswatichandra - Kumud's marriage with Saras breaks off, now married to Pramad

Saraswatichandra is a slow serial, and it's TRP ratings are now taking a break. At a time when there are multiple serials on nowadays which move fast and don't stick on the same story for weeks and weeks, the serial is one of the slowest moving serials on TV today and hence even if you miss it for a week, you don't feel like you really miss much. In the past few weeks however, finally the story has taken a twist. For so many weeks, the serial showed the slow transformation of Saras from somebody who was insular and non-smiling to somebody, who through the influence of Kumud, finally got to know the better parts of life, about love and life, and finally brought back a smile to his life. But after their wedding was decided and he had to rush back to Dubai, you knew that there was something wrong. And when the serial took such a full episode to show the separation between Saras and Kumud, including their leaving some parting gifts for each other, you knew that there were things going to go wrong, and it happened.

Cut to the current situation where the marriage proposal between Kumud and Saras is broken, and this is the second time that this happened. When this happens, Kumud informs her family about what has happened, and they consider that the relation has now broken. Already, there is another proposal from a politician called Buddhidhan for his son Pramad, and finally Vidyachatur decided to get his daughter married off to Pramad. Kumud also agreed to this. Saras was in a shattered frame of mind after he had a disagreement with his father, since there was going to be a business meeting that happened but which got moved by a day because of Guman. As a result, Saras was badly shocked, and it was in this frame of mind that he refused the relationship. But he was persuaded by Sunny that he had done wrong to Kumud and Saras finally rushes back but finds that the marriage is about to happen. He is discovered by Umesh, and since Umesh was so angry at him for breaking up his marriage to Kumari, he beats up Saras very badly.

Kumud finally did get married to Pramad, but this relationship was off to a bad start. Kumud was determined to make a good wife and daughter-in-law, but Pramad is drunk with her on the first day of marriage itself and tells her that this marriage was forced on him by his father, he was not interested in marriage. And he tells Kumud that she should not consider that this marriage meant anything to him, this is a marriage in name only. On the other hand, Saras was discovered by Pramad's sister in an injured state and she takes him home to help him recover, and so it again turns out that Kumud and Saras are now in the same house, although both of them do not know this. What will happen next ?

Hindi TV Serial - Saraswatichandra - Saras has to go away, what will happen

There are 2 main tracks that have happened in the serial, and since the serial moves a bit slowly, the 2 tracks take a lot of time to happen. First of all, Kumari is on the verge of marriage, since she was having an affair with a police inspector, Umesh for quite some time. Umesh had told her that he will help her find her father, from whom she has been separated for quite some time. When her father was found, she did not tell Badima, her mother, since her mother had separated from her father a long time back, and also because her mother knew that her father was not a good man. However, Kumari did not really know all this, and the excitement of finding her father was over-whelming to the extent that she his all this from Badima. And in all this, she was also planning on getting married to Umesh, and again without telling anybody in her family even though she knew that they would not easily approve of all this. In all this, she was being helped and goaded by Ghuman, who sees this as a possible route to get some embarrassment for Badima and the rest of the family, and to do this on the day of Kumud's engagement.
However, when Kumari had left for the temple and was on the process of going through the marriage, who would land there but Saras and Danny. They could see that something was wrong, after all, which girl would so easily want to get married without telling her family and that too on the day that her close cousin sister was getting engaged in a major function. They intervene, but her father and Umesh both tell them that Kumari can easily do this, since she is a major and after all this is her father and hence she cannot be stopped. But Saras and Danny do intervene and persuade her to drop her plan for getting married like this without the knowledge of her family. Umesh is very angry, but Kumari's father persuades him to not do anything for now.
In the meantime, there is an urgent business discussion in Dubai and it is required that Saras's father and Ghuman both leave for Dubai, and Saras also says that it is important for him to be there, so he also has to leave. This is something very sad for both Saras and Kumud since they have got very close to each other, and such a parting, that too with him going so far away is very sad. However, there has to be this parting, although Danny will stay here and it is also hoped that he will learn some responsibility like Saras also changed a lot in this trip.
In sadness, both Kumud and Saras part from each other through an exchange of some colors and a white scarf and are waiting for the time when he will come from Dubai with the baarat coming from Dubai.

Hindi TV Serial - Meri Bhabhi - The truth about Shraddha is revealed to her father

This is a brand new serial on Star Plus, only having started on the 17th of June. The show is very nascent, but the advertisements for the show portray this as a serial showcasing the love and support that a bhabhi (brother's wife) has for her nanand (husband's sister). So, the show takes a family of an ex-army Colonel Zorawar Shergill, who is shown as stiff but with human emotions. He has a family with a wife, 3 sons and a daughter. His daughter Shraddha is married to a man named Bobby Sood and they love in Mumbai with their child. The promos for the show already gave some idea of the story, the story being that Shraddha is facing a very tough time since her husband has left her, and in society, there are a number of questions when it comes to the presence of the husband and the father of the child, and Shraddha is very humiliated and embarrassed when such questions, and it is her bhabhi, Kritika who provides the maximum support for her during all these times, providing some kind of answers and also providing her the moral support to ensure that she does not give up.
The serial starts off with a birthday for the colonel, but who is very disturbed since his darling daughter Shraddha has not called to wish him for his birthday. As a result, his mood is badly spoilt and he even refuses to let the others celebrate the birthday. A cake has been made for him, but he refuses to take any part in the function, and also discourages the others from doing anything like this. On the other hand, in Mumbai, they show Shraddha trying desperately to get some money to pay off her bills, including the phone bill. Finally she does manage to pay the phone bill and get her connection reactivated and after some more drama, she calls up and the colonel is happy. However, she does not want to tell them about the problems she is going through ever since her husband left her.
However, her bhabhi Kittu finds something wrong and asks her husband Anand to go to Bombay and see whether everything is fine. He goes there and learns that there are many problems, all come because her husband Bobby has left her and she does not want to tell her troubles to others, including her own family. He tells Kittu about the same, and they are wondering how to tell the father and mother, since there will be a big emotional upset to them because of this, but in the end, Kritika does tell the situation to her father-in-law, the colonel. On the other side, Shraddha's brother Anand tells her strongly that he is not going to listen to any more of this drama and is booking her ticket to Delhi, and they will leave, and tells her to pack her bags; he is also shocked that she treated them this way by not telling them about the problems that she was facing. In Delhi, the family is now waiting for their daughter to return.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - Ram getting closer to Priya; Ayesha with Sid

Because of all the drama that happened with the kidnapping of Pihu, and the other problems that were affecting her (mostly orchestrated by Ayesha, and without Ram being able to figure out what is wrong and at one stage, even being convinced that Ayesha was trying her best), Priya decided that she wanted to get Pihu back from the Kapoor mansion, and even more, deciding that Dubai was the best for Pihu and that she would return back to Dubai. This was very problematic for Ram as well, since after being contact with Pihu for so many months now, he is very distressed at the fact that Pihu would no longer live with him, and in fact, would go back to Dubai.
Ram in the meantime has decided that he wants Priya back, but he also knows that Priya has accepted that his marriage has been to Ayesha now (and even more complicating, Ayesha is also Piya's sister, so it would be very hard for Priya to accept that she could ever think about breaking the marriage of Ram and Ayesha). Ram wants to take forward his plan, and as a part of that, he asks Vikram and Neha to have a proper re--marriage, and that too in style, since that would give a lot of time for Ram to spend time with Priya and get her to re-consider her anger towards him.
The serial has also shown Sid back in the scene, and also shown that he had not gone, since Ayesha would meet him from time time on the sly; but Sid is in a bad way, with no money and living in bad conditions. Ayesha does not like it, and neither does Sid, but until her can get some money back from the family, that is not going to happen; but if he does come in front of Ram, Ram will get him arrested and jailed, so he cannot just appear in front of everybody, so he just advises Ayesha on what to do, but the serial is showing Ayesha to be quite dumb, not able to do smart things.
So, finally the day of the marriage. Rajat, in a plan with Vikram and Neha, gets Ram to lay his hands on another lady, and when she accuses Ram of molestation, Ram is very hurt since he would never do such a thing. At this time, Piya is provoked and decides to speak up for Ram and defends him properly. Then, Ayesha tries to drug Ram so that it would seem that Ram and Ayesha were intimate, but the plan backfires with Priya drinking the drugged drink. Ram takes her to a room where she can rest (since she complains of tiredness), and then the inevitable happens (where Ram and Priya spend the night in the room, although this time the serial does not show any intimacy that it had shown earlier). Priya is very hurt when she wakes up, although Ram does his best to convince her that she has not done anything wrong.

Hindi TV Serial - Parichay - Siddhi injured in a blast

The serial has been reporting lower TRP's for some time now, and it seems to have taken a shock very recently. The actress playing Siddhi on the serial (Keerti) got injured in an accident in Mumbai and suffered injuries to her body and to her face (she was in an auto-rickshaw which got over-turned), and hence the episodes on the serial adjusted to show her in a way where her face was not shown (bandaged due to the injuries suffered in a bomb blast). There is some speculation that Keerti has decided to quit the show, but this is not confirmed.
The serial keeps on having twists and turns, whereby Kunal comes close to Siddhi, and then distrusts her and leaves her, and so on. This makes the story line quite stale and boring at times, and hence the serial has lost some of its avid viewers. Again, the serial has reached a stage where Kunal and Siddhi are together again, this time because of a court decision as part of divorce proceedings, where they are forced to stay together for 6 months. Siddhi, of course, always believes that she is in the right (even though she decides to take many good decisions and does not tell Kunal about them, and it is easy for some of those decisions to seem that she is acting for herself, not for Kunal or for his family).
When Siddhi is there at the Chopra household, the family of course do not trust her and hate her, it is only the children who believe in her and want to ensure that their parents get together again. Also, Kunal still has a soft corner for her, but all these years has made him very cynical; so anyhow, a situation arises in which a crisis will bring back the old feelings for Siddhi. She has gone to get ice cream for the children, when a blast happens and she is apparently caught up in it. Kunal goes looking for her, including among dead bodies, but is not able to find her.
So, in a matter of cunning, Kunal convinces Anand to go to Abhay's house and have a conversation with him, this conversation being transmitted to Kunal and a police party over a switched on mobile phone; and then Kunal barges in and they find Siddhi in an injured condition in the house. So, Siddhi is now in the hospital, but there is money required for her treatment (I always thought that people injured in a bomb attack such as this one get free treatment) and Kunal does not have any money (even after 9 years, he is still hand to mouth and does not have any money) and Kunal is now seeing as to how he will get this money.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - Ram changes his feelings for Priya

What an easy way to put a twist in a serial. You can bring in any character, or bring back at any character and that will automatically create a twist in a serial. So, it happened in this serial. For a long time, the character of the step-brother, Siddharth, who tried to frame Ram for a case of drugs adulteration, and for which Priya took the blame. As a result of this, priya was sentenced to a jail term and overall, this finally led to the separation of Ram and Priya; while Ayesha was pregnant with Siddharth's child and to cover which, Ram married Ayesha.
Now, Siddharth appears back in the serial, appearing back as a role which is as evil as ever. But he is also helpless to some extent, since he is still on the run from the police (Ram had managed to prove that Priya was innocent and that the actual culprit was Siddharth, and ever since Siddharth was supposed to be hunted by the police). Ayesha is still in regular touch with Siddharth, which is now being shown by the serial. Ram, or the others, of course do not know about this.
Now, the other twist was that Siddharth does not have any kind of money, it is Ram who has control of all the money in the business. As a result, Ayesha does not want to be in a position where she no longer is Mrs. Ram Kapoor, since that gives her access to enormous amounts of money and also to the high levels of society, and that is what she wants never to lose. Hence, she will not go with Siddharth if that means that she loses this status and money.
On the other side, Ayesha had tormented Pihu enough that Pihu decided not to go back to the house, and got lost; she was picked up by some hoodlums who decided that they would use her for begging, but then discovered that she was very rich and wanted money. After some amount of tension, she managed to run away and in the hunt for getting her back, Siddharth (in the guise of a party clown) manages to get the hoodlums away enough that the police are able to rescue her. Priya, now considers that Ram is incapable for holding Pihu and decides to take her back.
Ram has accepted this, and in the end, also comes to a determination that he wants her back. In order to ensure that he has no guilt complex with Ayesha, he goes to Ayesha and shows her that he wants a relationship with her; this is very uncomfortable to Ayesha and she tells Ram, which ensures that Ram is now comfortable that he is not leaving Ayesha in the lurch and is free to pursue Priya, but who is very angry with him now.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya helps Veer get back his memory, and get Ichcha

Looks like the actress (Rashmi Desai) playing the role of Tapasya in the serial came back to the serial with an intention of ensuring that she would no longer play a negative role. Before the time leap, Rashmi had vanished from the serial, but at a stage where she had been thoroughly dis-credited by everyone in the serial, having been brought up under the highly negative influence of Nani, with her parents unable to prevent her morals and character from turning negative. The most positive influence on her life was her husband Rathod who prevented the negative influence of Nani and ensured that Tapasya would try to turn over a new leaf and become positive.
But after the time leap, Tapasya has been shown as a positive character, who came back into the serial to help Ichcha get back Veer. Ever since Veer was attacked by Avinash, and Ichcha killed him to prevent him from murdering Veer (and went to jail for that). However, during that attack, Veer suffered blows which caused him a memory loss, and he forgot his marriage and Ichcha. His mother, Gunwanti, who was never happy with the presence of Ichcha since she considered Ichcha as a low class girl (the daughter of a servant, as opposed to Tapasya, who was the daughter of a rich man) decided that his forgetting Ichcha was a good thing.
Gunwanti got Veer married off to a girl who would not cause any trouble, but what to do about the memory ? The memory loss in such attacks could come back, and hence she had to ensure that he never got back his memory; so she went to a doctor and got medicines that ensured that the memory would not come back. These were medicines that cost a lot, but needed to be taken regularly to ensure that the memory would not come back.
When Tapasya came into the house, she wanted to ensure that Ichcha got her rights back, and decided to investigate. Eventually, she managed to detect that Gunwanti was giving some medicines to Veer and replaced those medicines with sugar powder, and Gunwanti did not suspect anything. However, Veer got his memory back, and along with that, there was other evidence to expose the scheming of Gunwanti, and then Veer told her that he considers that his mother is dead and that he will get his Ichcha back. This is the second time that Gunwanti has been caught doing something, just shows that if you are caught by somebody doing something for the second time, then only you are to blame.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Ache Lagte Hain - Coming together of Neha and Vikram, Pihu runs away

The serial is moving towards some serious stuff if the recent promos are to be believed. Tension in marriage and the sudden appearance of an illegitimate son can be serious stuff, but it is a purely family related matter, not anything to do with crime. But the promos are showing that Pihu is in the hands of some hoodlums, and given that she is the daughter of a very rich man, that can be a very serious matter.
The serial has partially resolved a very serious matter. The separation between Vikram and Neha was due to the sudden arrival of an illegitimate son of Neha, before her marriage with Vikram, and his presence in the scene created upheaval in the entire family. The serial never fully explained as to why this lead to a divorce between Vikram and Neha, and given that the process of filing for a divorce and actually getting it can take some time, things are not so clear. If there was no pressure from anybody, why they filed for a divorce seems pretty strange. The presence of Rehan threatened everybody in the family, with Vikram finding it hard to adjust. However, in the end, Ram and Priya take a decidedly melodramatic way to ensure that they decide to get together again, by showcasing as if Neha is getting married to somebody else, a process that ensures that Vikram realizes what is about to happen and comes in to prevent this from happening.
The relation between Ram and Piya is more complicated, and the tension, especially the negative behavior shown by Ayesha is strange. When Mamaji, who is advising her on the right things to do, which is to ensure that Pihu gets very friendly with Ayesha and starts treats her like a mother figure would be the way to cement her place in the household, the serial has Ayesha instead reacting in exactly the opposite way. It is almost like Ayesha is telling Ram to come and kick her out of the house, especially if Ram sees Ayesha behaving like this or Pihu comes and tells Ram about somebody like this. Pihu is getting very scared of the behavior of Ayesha, and is scared to go back to the house, and decides to go from the school to Priya's house, but she does not know the way. So, now it would seem that she is lost and comes in the hands of some gangsters.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - 15 days are up, Pankhuri attacked

The serial is finally getting over the 15 day interval that was prescribed before Adi and Pankhuri could come together. During this time, there was some drama, including the fact that Mami was suspicious about why Nanaji was wanting to change his will (she was very suspicious that Nanaji wanted to write out Rubel from the will). So, Rubel and she decided to get the will out of his safe in the night (she had already got keys made for the same) and they took the will out, read it (and all it did was to add Pankhuri to the will). However, during this event, first Pankhuri and then Nanaji saw Rubel with the will, and he was very angry, asking Rubel about how Rubel managed to get inside his safe. Rubel was equally angry about his property now had Pankhuri also being added to the claimants, since she was an outsider. The net result was that Mami realized that Rubel is no longer in the good books of Nanaji, and it would be only Avantika who could ensure that things were fine for him now.
The next major event that turned things around was the attack on Pankhuri. When Pankhuri, Avantika and Nanaji were traveling to the court, some hoodlums tried to get involved. The idea was to ensure that at that time, Rubel would get involved along with some friends to save these, but this backfired. The hoodlums got provoked by the action of Pankhuri and Nanaji and attacked both of them, with Pankhuri getting injured badly enough to require hospitalization. This was a shocker, with the family badly shocked by this, and since they also had the details of the license and car which was involved, they are also working with the police to identify the people involved. Adi was shocked, else he would have remembered that Rubel had threatened Pankhuri since she was not willing to take the case back.
Now the preparations are on for the 25th wedding anniversary of Harish and Avantika, with everybody looking forward to this. In the meantime, Mami, using her power of the stolen keys, had got to know that the reason for the separation of Harish and Avantika was the abortion that Harish had gotten for somebody and is now figuring out the best point to make use of this information.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Ache Lagte Hain - Ram shot while trying to save Priya

In 2 recent hour long episodes running on Sony TV, the serials Bade Ache Lagte Hain and Kya Hua Tera Vaada saw some changes in the storyline of the serial. However, this changeline was more in the case of Kya Hua Tera Vaada and less so for the case of Bade Ache Lagte Hain; since the person behind the transformation was Anushka Sarkar from Kya Hua Tera Vaada. In the case of Bade Acche Lagte Hain, the serial was also going through some drama, but not of the same scale. The shooting by Anushka was at a party thrown by Rajat and Vineet, and the need for the party was because Rajat's business partnership with Ram was getting broken.
The reason for the relationship getting broken was because Ram was getting more and more bothered about the relationship between Rajat and Priya. Even though Ram had always known that Priya had loved him truly, he was getting more and more bothered since he knew that Rajat was madly in love with Priya, and the fact that Rajat was helping Priya in the custody case (including discussions with the lawyer and the effort to ensure that Priya had a strong financial backing) embittered him towards Rajat. It got so bad that he started turning against Rajat, speaking badly to him, breaking his business relationship with Rajat. However, this did not change Rajat's support for Priya.
And then the shooting happened. Ram stepped in to try and prevent Anushka from firing her gun, and in the struggle he was shot (after which Pradeep was shot a bit later). He was rushed to hospital with Priya in the ambulance and was then treated until it was clear that he was out of danger. However, it seems that Ram will remain bitter, atleast in the promos where he speaks bitterly to Rajat, and it is not sure whether anything will change; one thing that will change is the relationship between Rajat and Priya, since Rajat admitted before everybody that he was madly in love with Priya.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Condition set by Avantika that Adi and Pankhuri stay apart for 15 days

The serial is showing a twist that not too many people who would have thought would have happened. Not telling Avantika about the marriage was a step that was always fraught with risk, since it was impossible to think that she would not find out in the end (especially with Pankhuri's family also involved); the only point being how long this relation would remain hidden, and whether Mama-mami would find out about this before Avantika and seek to make some benefit out of this. However, Avantika found about the marriage when Pankhuri's parents and other relatives came there to see Pankhuri and how she was faring in her new home (they were not particularly pleased with the marriage because of what had happened earlier).
When Avantika found out, she did a lot of question and answer about the marriage, calling Adi there and asking him about the circumstances of the marriage. The initial fear was that Adi would have got married without his permission, having been pushed into the marriage, but Adi denied all this and stated that the marriage happened because he jumped into the gap when Shivam was stepping back. Avantika also expressed the worry that this was a marriage between 2 very different people and hence it would not last much and she did not want Adi to go through the same pain as she went through.
As a result, she set the condition that she wanted both of these to stay separately for 15-20 days right in the beginning, something that no one was really happy about. Harish managed to get the condition slightly modified so that Pankhuri would stay with Avantika while Adi would stay with Harish. There was some strain between Aditya and her parents, but that reduced when Ambika suffered an injury and Adi took some quick action to help her. However,  the biggest issue right now is that both of them are somewhat unsure of their relationship and love with each other, they consider each other to be a very big friend of the other, but does this extend to a husband and wife relation. Maybe it does, but they are not able to express this to each other. And then there is the cousin, Ruben, who is the son of Mama-Mami who got into a tiff with Pankhuri over a local accident and had to spend some time at the police station and who considers all the property and business to something that he has full rights over.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Ache Lagte Hain - The custody trial just about to happen

The serial is heading towards another conflict point. For quite some time, the serial has been showing a slowly developing closeness between Ram and Priya, very different from the reunion between Ram and Priya after a gap of 5 years where Ram was very angry that Priya had his child and did not even tell him anything and wanted the custody of Pihu. He in fact even filed a case for the same, which caused Priya a lot of distress. However, things started moving in the right direction since Pihu brought them closer together again, and also there was always a love between them, which caused some of the bitterness to break. And of course Ayesha did not do anything to keep Ram strongly attached to her side, while Priya did such tasks such as keeping the ritual fast for Ram.
However, now Priya realizes that some of this closeness that she felt over a period of time is going to go away since the date of the court case is now only 3 days away, and though she has been assured that the case is strongly in her favor, she remains sad for Pihu. After all, she reasons, whether Ram wins or Priya wins, Pihu will only get one of her parents, and will remain separate from the other parent.
On the other side, the story of Vikram and Neha remains complex. Neha's child previous to her marriage remains a problem for both of them, and it is not even his fault. Neha was very worried about Vikram and his  relationship to Rehan, although Vikram seems to be taking it fairly well (he even cared for Rehan when he was sick and tended him back to wellness). At some point, they will need to let their children about this relationship, and work this out.

Hindi TV Serial - Parichay - Wedding of Siddhi with Abhay, under force

As usual, the serial goes through more twists and turns, and the twists and turns in turn make the story more painful and more complicated. The problems that these people go through is much more complicated than people all around you. The life of Siddhi and Kunal is shown to be much more complicated, with the period of time that there is pain and separation being much more than any time period of happiness. So, you had a time period when there was a long period of separation, a time when the Chopra family thought ill of Siddhi, and it was only at the end of 9 years that Siddhi and Kunal got together and reconciled their differences (siddhi told Kunal about what all she had done for the family and also about their second son that Kunal did not know about). They agreed to resume their marriage with Siddhi coming back to the house, although that was met by some opposition by Veena, but Kunal overcame all this opposition and got everybody to agree to Siddhi coming back. Her son was overjoyed at this and made plans to welcome back his mother from whom he had been separated for 9 years.
However, this was not to be. Sulekha was not happy about what this decision of Siddhi and was wondering about the impact of this on her son Abhay who had got used to having Siddhi in the house and her son at home, and so it turned out. When Kunal came to Abhay's house to take back his wife, he was shocked to see her getting married to Abhay and when he questioned her, he was told that the marriage was with the consent of Siddhi, and even shown papers to this effect. And then kicked out of the house. This sent him back to despair, made Richa extremely happy since she felt that this shock might cause her to come back to Kunal's life, and caused more distress to Kunal's family. Seema spoke out against Siddhi very strongly when she came to know about this.

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaada - Seamier side of Anu revealed

Things are getting more complicated. As if the broken relationship between Pradeep and Mona was not enough, there was the planning going on for 2 marriages, the marriage between Pradeep and Anuska, and the marriage between Mona and Vineet. For quite some time, Mona was shown as very unenthusiastic about marriage between her and Vineet, but both Vineet and her father-in-law, Alok, were very keen. Vineet's parents were not enthusiastic about their son marrying a divorcee who has 3 children, but finally they are also agreed. Others in the household such as Mallika, the sister-in-law is trying to intervene but nobody is really listening to her.
Till now they have shown Anushka as an arrogant and strong willed person, who will do whatever she has to do; but now they are showing more details about her, such as the fact that she is already married and actually had done fraud in a previous company. They do all this by introducing a new character, Shaurya, who scares Anushka whenever she hears his voice on the phone; and then he lands there and starts threatening Anushka by saying that he will reveal the truth about her to everybody unless she gives him a lot of money. She does not have that kind of money, and starts looking for money, primarily to see where she can steal this much money.
Things get interesting, since Mona finds out about his background and tells everybody in the house to beware of him, but then Anushka slaps Mona but before something else can happen, Suhasi tells her that Anushka is the daughter of the house while Mona is moving out and hence should listen to Anushka. Mona is not very happy about this, but accepts it and also persuades Alok about this. The next item of discussion is about whose marriage will Alok and Suhasi attend, if both of them fall on the same date.

Hindi TV Serial - Pavita Rishta - Finally catching up with Soham

After other matters in the serial have been resolved, it was the turn of Varsha and Soham to be found. Ever since some photos were seen which showed Varsha alive and present at the engagement of Arjun, there was a quest to actually find them. Archana was very anxious to find Soham, since she had always thought that Soham and Varsha was dead, and she had already got her other children back to her after the expose of Savita revealed that the separation of Archana from Manav was actually caused by Savita.
Finally they manage to catch up with Varsha, but she refuses to tell them anything about Soham or what has become of him. Then Varsha is tailed till she goes back to Bihar where Soham (now Vishnu) is revealed to have become a bahubali and is celebrating this. There Varsha and Balam claim that Soham was actually dead  when Varsha came there, and he has been dead for 18 years. However, Manav and Archana do not really believe this and talk to the neighbors who reveal that the photo of Soham that they are having is actually Vishnu (rather, only Archana knows this, not Manav).
Archana immediately goes to the stage where Soham is present, but he is scared to see her and wonders whether she has come there to arrest him, and puts a gun to her head and takes her off to the jungle. Manav chases them and when he sees an opportunity, he shoots Soham; Archana is distraught and tells Manav that Vishnu is actually their long lost son Soham. Manav is horrified and surrenders to the police.
