Swaragini on Colors - Finally trying to turn the tables on Ragini

For quite some time, the show has been showing Swara not having an easy time. Not knowing the intentions of her sister Ragini who wanted to marry Swara's fiancee, Laksh. She did the ultimate back-stabbing, plotting over a period of time to convey that Swara was not interested in the marriage, and also managed to ensure that Swara would not reach the marriage location. To her sister, she actually acted with a lot of malice and threw Swara off from a bridge (not knowing whether her sister was alive and dead). At the marriage hall, she managed to twist things by saying that Swara was not interested in the marriage and finally her wishes get fulfilled when Laksh agreed to get married to Ragini. In many of these machinations, she was supported by Sanskar, who wanted revenge from Laksh. However, Swara finally managed to get Laksh to forgive the reasons why he wanted revenge and decided to support Swara in whatever he did.
There were many complications after this. Swara's and Ragini's dad did not forgive Swara for what she did, and over a period of time, made clear his feelings that he did not consider Swara his daughter any more and remained very angry at his wife, Sharmishta, essentially breaking off relations with his wife because she did not agree to support the marriage of Ragini and Laksh.
In the meantime, Swara and Sanskar decided to try and ensure that the truth would come out, although no one really believed them; they considered that Swara was really upto no good and that Ragini was the good daughter-in-law. Swara and Sanskar pretended to get married to ensure that Swara would remain in the same household as Ragini to try and expose her. However, it was not so easy, and every attempt they made was ending in failure, with Ragini and Laksh determined to expose the false marriage between the 2 so that Swara would leave the house. It was even more complicated that Laksh still loved Swara and had not had yet established physical relations with Ragini, and this love of Laksh was troubling Ragini a lot.
However, of late, there is a change in the storyline, with the story starting to support Swara a bit more, and of late, Laksh, ever since he fell off the same bridge as Swara and established that she had indeed fallen in the water, was wanting to know the truth. So he is apparently making a plan where Sanskar and Swara would seem like they are hurting and killing Laksh, and with the sheer anger of Ragini at this move, would expose her for the actions she had taken against Swara. 

Hindi TV Serial - Jodha Akbar - Jalal leaves for war with Sujanpur

The serial is right now at a very critical stage. It has been made to appear that the murder of the unborn child of Jalal, inside Queen Ruqaiya, was caused due to dhatura. This dhatura was inside the last items that the queen ate, as a ritual done by Jodha and her brothers in happiness over the pregnancy. Jalal is furious over this, and decides that since it has been shown that the death happened due to the dhatura, and the dhatura was inside the item that was given by Jodha and her brothers, it is clear that they caused the death, and hence they need to be punished. Accordingly, in his rage, he orders the arrest of Jodha and her brothers and tells them that he will punish them with their life, and this will be a horrid death, since they will be burnt to death.
They are called before the Diwan-i-khas, the place where the emperor holds court before a few select people, and there when the trial is about to start, Jalal wants to short-circuit all the procedures that are supposed to be a part of the trial. As a part of these procedures, they are allowed to have their say and do whatever they can to show that they are not guilty. In this case, Jalal tells everybody that he is dispensing with a trial since he believes that they are guilty; and everybody is horrified at this, since it is assumed that the emperor is the representative of Mughal justice, which can be strict but is fair.
Finally his own mother steps in, although Jalal is not happy. She tries to point out the obvious, as to how everything is tasted before anybody of the royal family can eat it, and how earlier as well, food that Jodha had prepared for him had become spicy; that she believes that there is some kind of plot against Jodha and her brothers. Jalal says that he will postpone the trial and execution for 10 days, but at the end of which, if there is no innocence, then they will all be burnt to death. In the meantime, Jodha's father has come there to announce the impending marriage of another daughter, Sukanya, who will be married into a smaller kingdom, Sujanpur. The Amer king gets a cool reception and then hears about what is going to be the fate of his sons and daughters and the crimes for which they have been arrested.
In a twist, a farmer comes to Jalal for justice and claims that his family has been hurt by some intruders, and they are being patronized by the rulers of Sujanpur. For Jalal, this is feeding his revenge, since he now plans to setout to destroy Sunjapur and their rulers, and tells Raja Bharmal that since Jalal is his son-in-law, he needs to support him rather than any future in-laws of his daughter, and tells the sons of the Amer king that they have to join him in the battle on his own side. And in a further twist, the tilak for Jalal as he is leaving is to be done by Jodha, and she does do it. Jalal is all set to take revenge on Jodha and her family, and all this is part of the revenge.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - Major fight between Priya and Neha, all conversation off

Like any other serial, the fun of a serial is in switching things quickly, changing relationships between characters to bring in some novelty into the serial and hope that the viewers like the change. A couple of months back, the serial tried to insert a lot of discord between Ram and Priya with the apparent news of a divorce between the 2 coming up, but given that the relationship between them is keeping the serial up, that was not liked by the viewers and the serial had to drop the plan.
So what is the next big relationship that can provide some news if the serial shows a large gap in that relationship; that is the relationship between Priya and Neha, and so the serial is now showing that the relationship has suddenly gone for a toss. These 2 friends are not even speaking to each other, and the serial shows quite clearly that all this was because of Priya; who jumped the gun and did not listen to what her close friend was trying to say.
The whole deal is about Pihu. She is shown as young, barely 15, and with all the emotional drama that people at her age are going through. She is interested in one of the hotshots, Varun, but he rebuffs her in his typical arrogant manner; her mother finds out and gets him a tongue lashing from school and from his parents (who, in the most normal coincidences, are Ashwin and Shruti). Shruti of course knows that it is best not to tangle with Priya and quickly draws down, but not before delivering a slap to her son in front of the others. He also hears his parents discussing this later and learns that his father and Priya almost had a relationship, and that Ashwin has suffered in his interactions with Priya and Ram. He is pained at everything that he has suffered.
So Varun desires revenge, and what better way to get revenge than through their daughter (and in the rush of youth does not realize of course that if Ram actually got down to revenge, he could totally destroy Varun and his parents). He asks Pihu about her mother and his father; she asks her mother, who denies it. And then Pihu hears her mother admit it in front of others, and she feels that her mother is not to be trusted. So, in this confusion, she turns to Varun, who embraces her as part of his plan.
However, the next day Neha sees Varun and Pihu together and follows them. Finally, she is shocked when she sees them together in the changing room and drags Pihu out of there and takes her back to the house and tells Priya about what all has happened. However, at this time, Pihu denies that anything like the changing room happens, and says that varun was following her and that Neha is lying. Neha is shocked, and slaps Pihu. Priya tried to make sense, and when Pihu denies that this happened, Priya calls the store and speaks to the manager. The manager was paid by Varun and tells her that nothing like this happened. At this, Priya tells Neha that she was being paranoid and this is because of the mistakes she made when she was young; at this, she realizes that something horrible has happened. At this, Neha tells her that this has now gone beyond their friendship and walks out. On the other hand, Priya speaks a lot of stuff about how her values have made sure that Pihu has good values, and that if anybody challenges Pihu, they are challenging the values of Priya. 

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - Priya going to face problems because of Pihu

Somehow, the concept of a Hindi serial is that if something has to go wrong, it will go wrong to the family in the serial. Watching Bade Acche Lagte Hain for the time being reminds me of another serial on Sony, Parvarish. It takes a look at the growing up of children and the problems they and their parents go through, and is that Bade Acche Lagte Hain has now started on the line of. I hope that they end this drama about the growing up pangs of Pihu quickly, since the serial has again started becoming boring (and I think that this is a specialty of Ekta's serials after a time-leap; the serial tries to use the viewership it has gained over the past and use this while it takes up the boring story line soon after the time leap). In the current concept, the serial is primarily focusing on the life of Pihu. She is no longer the cute young girl who you saw as a 5 year old, but is now a teenager in the midst of all her angst and tensions about growing up, about trying to ensure that boys are interested in her (so that she does not feel like an outsider and so on).
Pihu meets Varun in college, and Varun is a big shot in terms of his claims to be from a rich family, he is good in sports and others, and does not care too much about Pihu, while she wants to be friends with him. However, it finally turns out that he insults her, and she is very hurt and leaves from there. And that is where Ram gets Akshay Kumar (the film star) to take her to a party in the college for the promo of Once Upon a time in Mumbai Dobara. Akshay goes there, already knows about Varun, calls him and gives him a hearing out. However, the next day Varun further insults Pihu and drives her to tears. She goes home, with a protective Priya getting the truth out from her, they to the college and meet the principal, and Varun's parents get called. And of course, you know that these have to be people who Priya already knows - Ashwin and Shruti. The principal tells them to warn Varun else his scholarship and his admission in the college will be in danger. Of course, Ashwin is very angry at this attack from Priya and then Varun overhears a discussion between his parents which shows him a plan of action to get back at Priya through Pihu.
He tells Pihu that all this is because of an earlier relationship between Priya and Ashwin, and when Pihu asks Priya about this, she talks to Ram and they do finally decide that there is no point of telling Pihu about all this, and so Priya tells something else to Pihu. However, Shruti was also angry about Priya taunting her, and when she sees Pihu calling Varun, she tells Priya that it is Pihu who is chasing Varun and not the other way. They go to a restaurant where Pihu is to come, and there Pihu overhears the discussion between Priya and Shruti over Ashwin, and Pihu thinks that her mother has lied to her. As a result, she is now easily swayed by Varun (forgetting everything that he has done to her) and goes with him; Varun is happy that he has discovered a path to get revenge on Priya; and of course, as you would expect, Ram does not know anything about all this. However, Neha sees Pihu with Varun.

Hindi TV Serial - Sasural Simar Ka - Jhumki made to drink alcohol to reveal truth

For some days and weeks now, the serial has been showing Jhumki in the serial, preventing Khushi and Veeru from grabbing the house and property after the death of Roli. With Roli dead, the property will go back to Veeru, and it is the acting of Jhumki as Roli which is preventing this from happening. On an earlier deadline, Simar and Prem had found Jhumki and persuaded her to come with them and make sure that the household remains in the hands of the Bhardwarj family. However, both Veeru and Khushi were sure that this was some kind of plot, since Roli was indeed dead, and how could it be that there was Roli again. Now all their quest was to show that this was not Roli, and that it was somebody else.
Things were more complicated, since Jhumki had to be taught all the habits and customs of Roli, and some of them were more difficult, such as being one of the earliest to get up and do morning stuff for the household. Another major problem was that nobody else in the house knew that this was not Roli, but Jhumki, and hence were trying to push her back to Siddharth, so that they could resume their normal marital relationship. This was making Jhumpi very nervous, since she knew that she was not married to Siddharth, and hence was trying to stay away from Sid, and he was also confused. Prem and Simar would keep on coming back again and again to prevent this from happening. Finally Siddhart also got to know, and he was also hurt on knowing this.
In the meantime, Khushi was forever on the quest to ensure that she could get the secret of Jhumki revealed, and would try numerous stuff. She would try and get Jhumki to revert back to her natural way of speaking, which was very different from Roli; she even prepared food with a lot of chillies so that Jhumki would feel a horrid taste and would express her feelings, but Jhumki got to know and somehow got Khushi to eat the food first, and it was Khushi who suffered this. On another occasion, Jhumki was supposed to do one performance with the dance group of whom she was a member, but khushi managed to persuade the family to go there and see her. Jhumki got to know, and was able to prevent this disaster from happening.
Finally, it was almost time for Veeru and Khushi to be thrown out of the house, and they did their final attempt. They managed to get Khumki to drink alcohol and she got drunk, and started speaking about everything in front of everybody. Khushi was very happy, claiming that this was the truth of Jhumki, not Roli, and with the lawyer there, it was clear to everybody that the property and house would go to Khushi and Veeru and the family would have to leave. What will happen next ? 

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Akash persuades his mother to forget revenge

The serial has taken a total turn from a month back. For a long time, the serial focused on getting Meethi to love Akash (presenting him as Vishnu), so that once they are married, the revenge for the death of Avinash at the hands of Ichcha, when Ichcha was protecting Veer. Even though Mukta was suspicious, and even managed to convince Rathore that there was something wrong about Vishnu, they were not able to convince Ichcha and Meethi of the same. In fact, the tables were turned on Mukta when it was portrayed that she was doing this to get some sort of revenge on Meethi. So the marriage happened and then it was supposed that Meethi and Vishnu had gone for their honeymoon. However, this was not as it appeared, since in fact they had gone back to her inlaws without letting Veer and Ichcha know. Once in Vishnu's house, the inlaws appeared nice but traditional, although in reality they were plotting against her.
Things got very serious when Ichcha suffered a serious accident and was on her death-bed, and they were unable to find Meethi. On the other hand, Surbhi, as Kanha's wife was providing them all the information that they needed, and then they made Meethi (unaware of the death of her mother) dance on the chauthi of her mother's death, all this as a part of her revenge. However, Rathore was on the hunt for detecting where Meethi and Vishnu were, and he managed to find them in a remote village in their haveli. By that time, Vishnu had been convinced by the love of Meethi and was no longer interested in killing her. Around this time, Rathore caught up with them and beat up Vishnu mercilessly, and then took away Meethi. Meethi had heard of the truth from Vishnu by then, and was totally shocked, and all her love seemed to have vanished.
However, things were not so clear. Vishnu's mother was very surprised at the about turn of her son, who was so dedicated to the revenge of his father, but over a period of time, she understood that her son had totally turned and was not willing to go on this quest of revenge any more, and she had to come to turns with this. At this time, the others in her family were totally shocked that she had given up her quest for revenge, also since there was the question of the marriage of Surbhi. Once Kanha had got to know the reasons for why Surbhi was married to him and how she was there as part of revenge, he sent a divorce petition to their house which was signed by Surbhi, but there was a taunt about why the same is not happening to the marriage of Meethi and Akash. What will happen next ? Will this marriage continue in these strange circumstances, where everybody is against him but Meethi is not so sure.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - Natasha goes ballistic, files case on her inlaws

The serial has suddenly moved into very serious territory. The introduction of laws governing atrocities against women such as 498A and others which take these crimes very seriously have led to a situation where there is some misuse of these laws. This has been shown in some TV serials and have also come out in court cases where even though they are useful, they can also be misused. A recent serial which showed the misuse of such laws, leading to the jailing of inlaws until the charge was withdrawn was in the serial, 'Sapne Suhane Ladapan Ke'. The same thing is happening in the serial 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain' where Natasha is furious about what has happened to her, and is using these laws to take her revenge.
Natasha and the rest of the family got to know what Karthik was upto and learnt that he had a second marriage with Jhanvi, and he also had a child from that relationship. Once Jhanvi got to know about this earlier marriage and about the relationship that Natasha and Karthik had, she left Karthik and also left the baby in the house. At this, Kathik owned up to the baby and to the relationship, and had to face the fury of his family and Ram because of that. He left soon after for Singapore, and his mom could not bear to see the baby going out of the house, especially since Natasha could not have a baby.
So, when Nuts found out about Karthik, she was very angry. She was roaming around the town and finally decided to jump into water for committing suicide. However, she next found herself in bed, and who was looking upto her but Ayesha. Although they spoke bitterly a bit, it was clear that the bitterness in Natasha about what had happened to her got through, and since Ayesha was speaking to her in the language of taking revenge, she listened to what Ayesha was saying.
So, as a result, Natasha goes to Ram and Priya and says that she wants to go back to her married home, and although both of them are a bit surprised about what she is saying, they take her back to Karthik's house. When she gets there, she sees the baby there and soon turns bitter, telling her inlaws that she would come back, but there was one condition. The baby needs to be sent out of the house, and she is very insistent on this. She tells them that the baby will be well taken care of, but the baby cannot remain in the house. They are aghast, and when she takes the baby and tries to go out of the house, there is some pushing and shoving and she falls down. And this is what she wanted.
Next, the police are in the house since she has filed a domestic violence complaint, and they take away her inlaws. When Ram and Priya try to intervene, she tells them that she will withdraw the case if the baby goes out of the house; and Ayesha is telling her that this is the way to ensure that Karthik comes back to the city where she can take her full revenge on him. Priya is stumped, since her mother refuses to let the baby go to an orphanage, she will only hand over the baby to Karthik once he comes back. Finally Priya takes the baby and takes to Neha and Vikram's house.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - The truth about Karthik unveiled, more tension

Any serial works by showing a series of events that cause tension, these are stretched for several episodes, and when they are resolved, another series of events happen that cause tension, and so on. So, after the truth about the marriage between Natasha and Sid was proven in court and the property was handed back to Ram, there was bound to be some other event which would cause tension. This even in the current set is because they show Karthik, who was otherwise passionate about Natasha, having a second marriage that nobody knows about, and this second marriage has even resulted in a baby. The important event is that everybody will get to know about this, since this is a serial, and the coincidence is that the mother of the child is Jhanvi, who helped Ram and Priya in their court case by acting as a witness to their marriage.
Karthik has come back from Singapore, and since Ayesha had seen him on the video chat which Jhanvi was having with him, she knew that she had got one more weapon on her side. Although Karthik was her own brother, she decided to blackmail Karthik over this knowledge about his having a second wife, and finally got him to pay up money for the same.
But this was not enough. She wanted revenge for what had happened to her, and since Jhanvi was the main witness in the case because of which all her property was taken away from her, she wanted to teach a revenge to Jhanvi. So when a party is happening in the house to celebrate the return of Karthik, she called up Jhanvi and told her that as a well-wisher, Karthik was not well. Jhanvi came to the house and saw what was happening and also saw the exchange of emotions between Karthik and Natasha, and realized that there was no part for her in this. She finally left from there without telling anyone, but left her baby there.
Ram called up the police to tell them about this, and although Priya wanted to take care of the baby rather than the baby going to an orphanage, the police told her that the law does not allow them to let the baby remain in the house and they would need to take the baby. At this Karthik finally breaks his restraints and tells everybody the truth about him being the father of the baby, about his marriage with Jhanvi and how he cannot let the baby be taken away.
Everybody is shocked, and then Ayesha appears on the scene to confirm everything and is gloating about what has happened, how she has taken her revenge, and so on. Finally Priya takes matters into her own hand, and slaps Karthik soundly. However, this will not be the end, since Ram has a temper when it comes to his sister, and even previously he has spoken a lot when something happened, and in the promo, he will again talk harshly, and will even point out that the marriage of Ram and Priya happened because of the need for the marriage of Natasha and Karthik. This might be enough for Priya to claim that everytime he claims that the marriage happened out of necessity and it does not have any standing of its own.

Hindi TV Serial - Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon - Finally the truth about Deepali causing trouble out ..

RK is very jealous now about Madhu, and what her intentions are with respect to Sultan. Any contact of Madhu with Sultan is problematic for him, and this will also cause problems for Madhu. Her quest seems to be to take RK to a position where she can finally tell him that the game is over and in a way that he learns that he could not have treated her like this. She does meet Sultan, and this is something which causes problems since if there is a chance of RK getting to know, he will be furious with her and the whole plan will be ruined. Once, when she had met him in a mall, Deepali was there along with Radha, and Deepali was trying her best to ensure that Radha got to see this; however this did not happen and Madhu was saved that time. Madhu had tried to allay the suspicions of RK by deleting the number of Sultan from her phone and also telling RK that she had removed Sultan from her life. She had also once almost jumped off a building when RK had told her to do so, to prove her life, and it was just at the last minute that RK managed to save her and pull her up.
However, when a party is happening, Deepali sees a good chance to again cause problems for Madhu and get RK to be furious at her. She sends out a message to Sultan from Madhu's phone (by planning to ensure that Madhu's phone got missing for some time, and then sending the message from there) and then later uses Sikky to actually give Sultan an invitation card, apparently from Madhu's side.
Predictably, when RK saw Sultan at the party, he was very angry and even more so when he learnt that he had got messages from Madhu to come to the party. He humiliated Madhu at the party, and then dragged her away from there and back to their room, followed by the rest of the family (Radha, Deepali and Sikky). Deepali was of course very happy when she saw this happening, since it meant that her plan was succeeding, and she tried to add more oil to the fire by instigating RK further, which of course did not work since RK would not listen to what he said.
And then Madhu used her brains, trying to determine what time the message was sent to Sultan since she was sure that the message was not sent by here. She looks at the time of the message, and realizes that this was sent at a time when the phone was missing, and reminds RK that she had told him at that time that her phone was missing. He immediately gets suspicious at Deepali, and when Madhu told him that she had collided with Deepali just before her phone got missing, he turned to Sikky and finally got the truth out from him. He was very angry with Deepali, and even though Deepali tried to state her reasons, he told her and Sikky that they should not be in the house after 8 hours, that they are being kicked out of the house.
Deepali did try to stoke more suspicion, raising points about some previous times about why Madhu was apparently meeting Sultan, even at the mall. They show everybody suspicious at Madhu about what had happened.

Hindi TV Serial - Savitri - Savitri making her way, does some fighting for the first time ..

So the serial takes some new twists and turns. First of all, during her quest to get the arms of Rahukaal, she encounters Nagraj and pisachs near a forest. And then during the fighting, she gets the help of a lady who looks just like her mother-in-law, but who is dressed very differently and with a very different set of powers. Savitri is confused by this, but this lady is helping her in the fight against the Nagaraj and the others, along with Vikrant who is also helping her. At the temple to the Devi, she encounters the spirit of a baba who gives her a sword and tells her that she should do her duty to help the pisachs who need delivery from their curse. And then you see a major transformation in Savitri, who, wearing a sword, decides to take a new route. She starts a major fight against all the demons around her, with Nagaraj not believing what he is seeing. And then Savitri tells the Nagaraj that his power is gone, he is the one who is the curse on the demons all around him, and then she cuts off his head. And soon after, the pisachs all vanish, apparently with the curse on them having gone. She gets a ring from the old man which gives her the visions of the past, of Veer, of Damayanti, and whatever happened earlier where Rahukaal had killed Veer, and then Damayanti had killed Rahukaal and cut his bodies into different parts.
In the meantime, the lady who looked like her mother-in-law tells her that she is very confident of the abilities of Savitri, and goes off. She has already told Savitri that she is not related to her in any way, her face being similar to that of her mother-in-law is totally coincidental, and the reason that she is helping Savitri is because this will be the only way that her son, Rahu Kaal, would get his whole body back. And then she goes back to Rahu Kaal and Gulika, who are very upset to see her there, since her helping Savitri is to help get the body of Rahu Kaal back. She seems upset over what has been happening, and particularly blaming Gulika for whatever has happened to Rahukaal.
Now, when the hands are with Savitri, Gulika comes there and asks for the hands. Savitri refuses and tells Gulika that unless Rahukaal come there, she will destroy the hands. Gulika does not like this, but goes from there and then Rahukaal comes there. He also threatens her that bad things will happen to Satya unless the hands are given to him, but she tells him that unless Satya comes there, the hands are gone. And she has a sword which she tries to use on Rahukaal, but he tells her that he does not have a body (destroyed by her in the past) and hence the sword cannot hurt him. She first has to bring the parts of his body, put them together, and then only she can destroy it again.
Satya is brought back, but Rahukaal tells her that this is in a form controlled by him; is this Satya or somebody like him, or what ?

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Rathore and Jogi looking for Meethi

Before the marriage, Mukta and Rathore had warned against the marriage, claiming that things were not right in the marriage. In fact, one of Mukta's friends had some evidence against Vishnu, but she died suddenly. The serial has not explored this area at all, although you would expect that the sudden death of somebody should have been explored. Anyhow the marriage happened, and Vishnu took Meethi away after marriage, and she is so almost so docile, she listened to how things started to happen to make her out of contact with her family. She gets restive from time to time, but other than that, Vishnu explains things to her, and she is fine. She lives in a huge house, and yet can believe that there are no communication capabilities in the house and in the village.
On the other side, after the death of Ichcha after an accident, there was an attempt by Jogi Thakur to find Meethi, which does not work out. She was not there in the hotel where she was supposed to be going for honeymoon, something which causes him to feel strange, as to where she is. Both Jogi and Rathore (who is pretty resourceful) are trying to locate Meethi, but this is not so easy.
On the other hand, Meethi is finding things very strange in the house. She finds a telephone in the village, but no matter what is done, she is not able to get through; and when she does get through, the connection is broken by a servant in the family behaving very strangely. She finds all this very strange, and yet is not able to do anything about it. Even protesting to Vishnu does not cause too much of a solution, and given the amount of time that she has not been in touch with her family, seems very strange.
In the family, Maiya runs the house; whenever Meethi is not there, she talks about how to plan against Meethi. And when Meethi protests against the treatment meted out to a Mamiji over there, she provokes resentment. She is attacked when in an isolated room, and calls out for Vishnu, who comes and rescues her when his Bhabhi tells him to go and help. He finds out that it was Mamaji who had attacked her, but cannot identify him because of him being part of the conspiracy. The blood trail is followed by all, and it goes to Mamiji's room, and aspersions are cast on her because of her mind not being right.
Vishnu is now slowly getting closer to Meethi, which also means that his mission of finally hurting and killing Meethi will get more complicated. In the meantime, Jogi and Rathore, while hunting for Meethi, have heard of her being in this village and have found their way here, and been told that the haveli would likely be the only place where she would be. They knock on the door of the haveli in an attempt to find her. What happens next ? Would be obvious that they would not find her, since Vishnu needs to be given time in an effort to reverse his villainous character.

Hindi TV Serial - Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke - Engagement plans of Gunjan happening, Charu getting trapped

In this serial, the jailing of Mayank and his parents by Charu has had a major impact. Gunjan knows that Charu blames the presence of Gunjan in the house and in Mayank's family for everything that has gone wrong, for the fact that Mayank does not seem interested in her; and when Mayank and his parents were jailed, Charu told Gunjan that this was one of the reasons. This inspires Gunjan to decide to get engaged and eventually married when her father asks her and shows her the resumes of some boys. She agrees to get married to Aditya, which will leave 2 gentlemen in the lurch. This will be Mayank, and Rajeev, who is the coach in college. So, now there are actually 3 gentlemen in the race for Gunjan, one declared leader - Aditya who is going to be her fiancee; Mayank, who is married to Charu; and Rajeev who is the coach in college and who seems to be the one who is most unlikely to admit to anything.
Now, Rachna is going around distributing cards to everybody in college. When Vihaan sees this, he is shocked since he cannot understand as to how Rachna can get married to somebody else (forget the part where he had tried to deceive her when he was finally unmasked by Gunjan). He gets down on his knees, and embarrasses her in front of everybody in the college, until he understand that this was for Gunjan, not for Rachna. The card has still not been distributed to Rajeev though.
Aditya is now getting ready for the functions; and he asks Mayank for help (which is pretty shocking for Mayank since he is very upset by this plan for Gunjan's marriage, and cannot understand how she can get married). He tried to evade this, but Aditya pushes him for this part, and he finally agrees. When Gunjan overhears this, she confronts him about why he wants to do this, but he tells her that he is doing this since she is a friend, and he would like to do this. She in turn, when asked later, says that she is not upset, and says that she is happy with the upcoming marriage and only nervous about the marriage.
In the meantime, Charu is dealing with the shocks of somebody torturing her. She had got everybody put in jail, and is now suffering when somebody starts sending her evidence of all the wrong-doings that she had done. She is sent photos that expose what she had done, has been called to a deserted place where she is given another photo. This is making her very nervous, since getting exposed to whatever she had done would cause her lots of problems. And who is behind all this ? It is Mayank and Rachna, both of whom hated what Charu had done to their families and are now slowly ensuring that Charu will get so spooked that she will admit on her own as to what had happened.

Hindi TV Serial - Pavitra Rishta - Onir in deep trouble, his medical license cancelled by the court

Hindi Serials typically follow a principle where if you are doing a good deed, then you are in deep trouble. People don't understand what you are doing, and the makers of the serial believe that the serial succeeds only when they show deep pain, when they show people struggling, and so on. So it goes in this serial. The name of the serial is nothing like the nature of the relationships anymore. The name of the serial depicts a sacred relationship, while the relationships shown in the serial are mostly very much on the other side of sacred. There is a man forced to marry one girl while he loves another girl, and it turned out that he has a physical relationship with another girl, and now he is going to have children with both of them. The child he was having with his wife dies, and so the other girl decides to hand over her child to them, but without telling them that she is doing this. A son-in-law of the family is running an organ stealing racket and gets into a dispute with them, and then sees CCTV footage of the baby swap and figures out that he can use this to get his revenge. And so on .. this is what all that is happening in Pavitra Rishta. Maybe time for this serial to come to an end ?
Ever since Ovi learnt that the child was actually Arjun's and Purvi's and told everybody about the same, she was shocked and decided to leave Arjun (why she could not do this earlier when she knew about the intense love between Arjun and Purvi earlier is not clear). She now refuses to come back.
On the other hand, the revelation about the movement of Pari to Ovi had brought problems back to Onir and Purvi, and they are now embroiled in a court case about the same. Mittal, who badly wants his revenge, has decided to use this to get back his honor and prestige and gets Onir into a court case for the same. Soham is now defending Onir, but realizes that for this, he needs to get Arjun to come to court and defend whatever Onir had done, and this would make a deep impact on the case.
Arjun agrees, but is unable to get to court quickly enough, and the case gets decided by the judge, who orders that the decision of the court is to cancel the medical license of Onir for all time. This is a big shock for Onir, although Purvi is standing by Onir all the time. Mittal and Punni are happy over what happens and Manju blames Onir for whatever has happened although Sulochana still stands up for her. Manav is confused about whom to support, since he had also promised Purvi that she could call on him like a real father.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha - Pankhuri joins as caretaker of the Diwan house

The serial is going from bad to worse, with the storyline being totally unrealistic. In reality, in life, there are people who are more evil or less evil, and even in the Geeta, it says that when somebody is behaving badly, it is your responsibility to ensure that these people get their just deserts. If you don't say anything to them and  let them do what you want, then you are equally guilty and shirking your duty. In the serial, ever since Avantika backed down up Atul's demand and handed over all signing powers to him, their family has been going through a total downturn. It is great to say that you want to stay with your husband and make your own destiny rather than take from your father, but it is a very regressive talk. For any person, it is their right to get what their father has created, whether you be a son or daughter. However, the serial has totally gone off this track, and presented a picture where when a daughter reconciles with her husband, she rejects everything that her father has given. Further, when you are running a company where your customers and employees work and depend on the company, it is sheer irresponsibility to hand over the running of the company to something who is not at all suitable. Even worse, you are leaving your father in the hands of people who are ruthless, and who can do anything to get what they want.
So, as part of their plan to get total control of the house, Sheela and Rubel do further planning. They do not like the presence of Shanky in the house, since he is somebody who keeps on reminding them about how things were better in the past, and is likely to not follow what you say, and hence they get Shanky kicked out of the house. And Nanaji, behaving like how Neville Chamberlain totally gave into Hitler, has only one aim; even though he keeps on threatening that he is still the owner and can make things right, keeps on giving into what Anuj and Sheela wanted, and keeps on asking them for more pain under which he will not buckle. They have already done whatever they wanted, kicked out everybody else from the house, done things in the house that he would not have liked, and yet everybody let them do what they wanted.
Finally, somebody good in the family came. Kaira, the daughter of Sheela, and who is apparently on the good side, was tasked with appointing a caretaker for the house, and through a chance, finally ended up appointing Pankhuri as the caretaker of the house. Nanaji was shocked at this, since he is sure that nobody in the house will like it, and Rubel will literally almost torture her until she decides to leave. And then when Rubel comes in, a side of him is excited, since this is the way for him to do a full round of torture of Pankhuri until he has got his revenge and she leaves. And of course, since Adi does not know, with his temper, he will literally erupt.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hain - Coming back into the serial of Ashwin, more trouble for Ram

Now finally the trends are emerging that this is a Ekta Kapoor serial. Typical signs are short periods of happiness followed by long periods of trouble and time leaps for no major reason. There are already news that the serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hain will go through a time leap, that too of 20 years, and the serial is showing more trouble in the life of all concerned.
First, the business that Ram had started in Jaipur all collapsed in the space of a few hours, when rain destroyed all his production which was kept in the open, and they lost everything that they had. It took some effort on the part of Priya to ensure that Ram did not become totally depressed at whatever had happened; and it took some more effort on the past of Vikram and Neha to ensure that they managed to get Ram and Priya back to Mumbai with an attempt to get them back to a normal life.
For more trouble, Ayesha took on a total dictatorial nature, and after the collapse of a business deal that she blamed on Soumya and the elders in the house, she kicked everybody out of the house. After some period of trouble, they finally went and stayed in Natasha's house, even though it was essentially the house of their inlaws of their daughter, something that was not easy for them to accept.
So the way that the serial is now behaving is: If they show any signs of happiness or that they are entering a positive part of life, the makers of the serial ensure that this period of happiness is not going to last and some new trouble will be on them.
When Ram and Priya came back to Mumbai, they finally met up with their family and got to learn that Ayesha had kicked them all out of the house; Ram was furious. He went and spoke to Ayesha, told her that the house belonged to all of them, that it was not only Ayesha's house; and the most dangerous to Ayesha, he told her that even though he had given all of his property to Ayesha, he could take it all back; and that if Ayesha went on this track, she would regret everything that she had done. Ayesha was totally scared at this, after all, she had already burned her bridges with everybody, and spoke to Sid who told her to make sure that she showed some care for Ram's family and also to her son. So Ayesha started showing more concern for her son.
However, when Ram and Priya were looking for a job, both of them finally landed up at the same place and to their happiness, got a job in the same place. But when they finally landed there, their happiness was short-lived. The boss of the place was Ashwin, who was once in love with Priya, and whom both Ram and Priya had kicked out. It is now his turn to cause a huge amount of trouble to both of them, something that he has already started doing.

Hindi TV Serial - Sasural Simar Ka - They defeat Veeru, but bullet hits Simar

For a long time now, the serial has been showing an effort to save the property of the Bhardwaj family that was looted by Khushi, with Veeru supporting her. Khushi spared no effort to humiliate the family, making them do household work, holding parties in the house, renaming the sweet shop, and so on. Roli decided to do a scheme to get the property back from Khushi, but this would not be easy. Why would somebody who took a lot of property by trickery want to give it all back; more trickery is required. The way that Roli figured out how to do this was to use the help of Veeru to get the property back, but this would not have been easy either. The way would be to get him in love with Roli and then get him to trick Khushi to give the property and everything back.
So, Roli changed her entire demeanor in front of Veeru. She would go to a club when everybody was asleep, the same club where Veeru would go and pretend that this was her natural self, her dressing and behavior at home was something that she was forced to do. She did not even tell her own sister that she was doing this, in order to ensure that nobody spoiled the game in front of Veeru. Finally Veeru was convinced enough that he started getting more interested. Roli tried to make him feel the need to become more powerful by saying that the entire property belonged to Khushi, that Veeru did not have anything with him. Finally they had an agreement where Veeru decided to trick Khushi and get her to sign over everything to him.
However, he had a condition. He would only hand over the property once Roli got divorced from Siddharth; something that shocked her. But she finally agreed, although the thought was that they would handle the situation once the property papers were changed. So Veeru got Khushi to sign the papers, and then kicked her out of the house; although he did not sign it over to Roli. Instead he set the condition that this would happen only when Roli had actually got married to him. Finally, the marriage was due to happen, and Roli was panicked. Simar knew that the only way to stop this was to find the papers that Veeru had hidden, and searched the house from top to bottom.
Finally Simar managed to find the papers, and after a lot of dramatic struggle, managed to stop the marriage. Everybody was astonished at what had happened, and happy that Roli was only working for the good of the family. It was Veeru who was badly shocked, and tried to even keep the baby as a blackmailing tip so that the marriage will happen. However, finally a fight happened and Veeru was caught by the police. But he was not satisfied; he managed to get a gun and try to shoot Roli, but shot Simar since she tried to save Roli. Now Simar is in hospital, where doctors have pronounced her as in a dangerous condition.

Hindi TV Serial - Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon - Balrak makes his move, finally killed by his former wife

The serial was highlighting the emergence of Balraj, the father of Trishna and Madhu and the ex-wife of Padmini, who suddenly came back into the lives of all these people. Many many years back, Balraj used to torture his wife and also treated his daughters very badly, and finally they managed to escape from his with the help of Malick. And then, when RK was looking for somebody to do the production of a movie which would launch Trishna (and do it in a way that Trishna would not know that it was RK who was behind all this), he and his assistant Bitto found Balraj who was a maverick (although they do not know his background, not is it shown as to why specifically Balraj was suitable for this role). He is almost shown to be out of control, once even eating the food prepared by Madhu for RK, something for which RK was very angry, but at the same time, showing Balraj as not really caring about what others (even including the superstar RK) think about his actions.
Next, Madhu and RK plan a technique that will finally bring Padmini and Malick much closer to each other, to the extent that they will finally decide to get married (something which they initially oppose); in the course of this effort, RK falsely tells Padmini that something has happened to Malick, and for which he gets slapped by Padmini (and the others are shocked, since they cannot visualize somebody slapping the superstar RK). However, RK keeps at it and finally they agree to get married, making everybody else very happy as well.
In the meantime, Balraj gets to know about this marriage and decides that he must also get involved, since he cannot visualize something like this happening; just before the marriage, Padmini has a nightmare where Balraj lands up in the house and kills Malick and then kills the others. However, she wakes up, and is very scared about this.
Roma gets to see Balraj dressed as if he is going for a marriage, but is kidnapped before she can warn the others. Balraj finally goes to the marriage location with his hoodlums, and pulls off a few stunts and then the police gets there and stops everything. RK also gets injured in all this activity. However, even when the police has caught him, Balraj manages to get hold of a gun and puts it to the head of Madhu, and is then shot by Padmini. Since she has shot Balraj, the police arrest Padmini while RK needs to be taken to hospital because of the blood loss. However, in the court case, the entire history of Balraj is laid out and Padmini is exonerated in terms of self defense.

Hindi TV Serial - Parichay - Tension between Siddhi and Kunal, Kunal takes the blame for the case

As usual, there is some amount of expressed tension between Siddhi and Kunal and this is because of the ongoing court case against Siddhi, for the death by car accident of Rohit. She did not want Kunal to take the case, and at the same time, Thakral promised that he will do whatever he can to ensure that the court case ends in a guilty case and Siddhi is punished.
However, in court, Kunal knows that right now things are against them, and that he needs more time to get more proof and evidence, and plays his gambit. He gets the court to accept that actually Siddhi was not the one who was involved, in fact, it was Kunal who was responsible for whatever happened, and hence he gets a one week time period for pleading the case. Things get more problematic when Siddhi is very angry over whatever has happened, and they do the usual drama about Siddhi wanting to leave the house, but does not (in fact, the auto guy finally leaves in disgust after they do the usual drama in front of him).
Siddhi even tries to get Vikram to say in court that Kunal was with him at that time so that Kunal would be freed and she would again be prosecuted, but Vikram refuses. On the other hand, Richa is remembering her time with Kunal and is distressed that Kunal has taken the blame rather than Siddhi getting prosecuted.

Hindi TV Serial - Saathiya - Anita finally leaves from the house, but not before almost causing a tragedy

The incident with regard to Anita being in the house and causing problems for Gopi have dragged on in the serial for some time now. After the trick played by Rashi (where she managed to get Anita and Ahem shown in a compromising position at Anita's marriage), Anita's marriage was broken off and she fell ill. At that stage, the Modi household decided that she would be a guest in their house, since the reason for the breaking of the relationship was the compromising position that she was caught in along with Ahem. After she came to the house, Anita started feeling that Gopi was not the right kind of wife, that she was more suitable for Ahem, and after all, she was earlier in Ahem's life.
Based on this, Anita started make her stance, and Kokila along with Rashi pretty clearly understood what was happening, and since Koki knew that Gopi was so simple, she would not easily understand what was happening. But Koki understood and got Rashi on her side (for Rashi, Anita in the house as the elder daughter-in-law would be a far more difficult game than poor simple Gopi who was easy to manipulate). So Koki started the fightback, challenging Anita to multiple competitions where each time Gopi won even though Anita tried several tricks.
Bitter after all these fights, Anita went beyond the normal level, trying a tactic where Gopi would get burnt in the kitchen due to leaking gas. Like all well laid plans, this one went wrong, with Ahem being in the kitchen when the fire started. While everybody was just shocked, Gopi got a blanket and jumped into the kitchen and got Ahem out. After this, everybody was all praise for Gopi and then Koki remembered the circumstances and realized that Anita would be behind all this. She got Anita to admit to all this, and when Anita claimed that she did out of love for Ahem, Ahem strongly refuted all this, and said that he was now hating Anita. As a result, at the conclusion of all this, Anita decided to leave the house.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Ache Lagte Hain - Becoming slightly unbelievable now, need to change quickly

One wonders how serial makers can suddenly make such plots which seem very ridiculous to the viewers of the serial. In the current case, there is a plot line associated around using the differences between Natasha and Karthik to create differences between Ram and Priya. This is shown as being the planning of Niharika, but the number of holes in this planning is such that the entire plot-line seems unbelievable.
The plan is that it is shown that Natasha comes home with a lot of injury marks, and this causes Ram to go ballistic. Since Nuts has claimed that this was the doing of Karthik, he reacts very violently to this, and puts the police after Karthik, and Niharika gets a case filed against the entire family which causes them all to go to jail. However, this is not the end of it. After they come out of jail, Niharika learns that Karthik and Nuts have made up, and she causes Nuts to vanish from the scene, something for which Ram blames Karthik and vows to put him behind jail for a long time (this sudden blame and the reaction of Ram seems a bit out of character - if he does his business in such a judgmental basis, then he will get into a lot of problems).
The biggest problem is the behavior of Nuts. She goes along with what her  mother is saying, and she does know the impact this will have on her inlaws; and more importantly, when she learns that Karthik has been jailed for kidnapping her, why she does not use her phone for calling Karthik or Ram is incredible. And Karthik does not try to call her either in this time (and she is seen as having her phone). The police also do not seem to be monitoring her phone, which they should have been doing if they were trying to find her. These are very strange and unnatural things.
