Hindi TV Serial - 12/24 Karol Bagh - Abhi tries to hit Bhalla with a knife, and then the police take him away

This was probably what Simi was most afraid about, about the fact that he can get very angry, and was also possessive about Simi. And so when Simi told Abhi about Bhalla's letter to her, he got very angry. He was angry at Simi for not telling her about the letter, and was even more angry at Bhalla for his crude letter and for making a pass at Simi. He jumped out of the house and was soon after Bhalla, and started chasing him. Soon, there was a situation where Bhalla had a knife with him, but Abhi managed to take the knife and pointed it at Bhalla's throat when Bhalla's mother was pleading with Abhi not to do anything. Simi soon arrived and was trying to stop Abhi, and then the police arrived and took Simi away.
In other stuff, Neetu is coming closer to Omi realizing that at heart he is a very good man. They talk a bit nice to each other and then get ready to leave to 12/24 Karol Bagh for the matarani ki chowki, and finally the relation between Neetu and her family improves. She learns about what all has gone on in the house and how Simi and Abhi did what they can to prevent the house from going to Bhalla, and then finally realizes that Simi is the good one in all this. They also get to know that Abhi is in jail, and is not likely to be there in the chowki unless somebody bails him out.
In the chowki, people have started arriving, and there is a call for the 2 son-in-laws, and while Omi is easily found, the other son-in-law Abhi is not present. Omi has tried to get his elder brother Nakul to bail out Abhi, but Nakul refuses to Omi and Omi had come back disappointed. Simi and Mili try to do a lot of pleading to bail out Abhi, but they are unable to convince the police to release Abhi, and then Bhalla arrives with his lawyer and tells the police to not release Abhi at all because he tried to kill Bhalla, and has serious charges against him.
However, in the end, Abhi does make it to the chowki, so one wonders as to who managed to bail him out of the police station, was it Nakul ?

Hindi TV Serial - 12/24 Karol Bagh - A fight between Abhi and Simi over Simi not telling Abhi about attack on her by Bhalla

It seems too good to last. For any serial, there is always the urge to introduce some tension between the lead characters, something that the makers of 12/24 Karol Bagh have started to do, between the lead pair of Abhi and Simi (with Abhi a bit immature as well, more prone to some amount of aggressiveness, as well as also being possessive of Simi). Abhi managed to get the eviction order on the house withdrawn and thus prevented Rajiv Bhalla from throwing the family out of the house, something that angered Bhalla to a large degree. Bhalla is not able to take this insult easily, and wants to take revenge by taking the house next to them, by taking 13/24 Karol Bagh.
Simi and Abhi are being romantic, but at some point, Abhi discovers a small piece of paper from Bhalla in Simi's purse, and is furious at Simi for hiding something like this from him. He manages to get Simi to tell him that this piece of paper was a letter from Bhalla where he promised to be lenient in the matter of the house if Simi came to him; and when Abhi got to know this, he was furious with Simi. He actually fights with Simi, telling her that she has done something that can threaten their marriage, given that she is hiding things from him, and it is such small things that can break a marriage. She tries to tell him that she hid it from him because of his anger, but is unable to mollify Abhi.
He then moves out of the house in anger, trying to find Bhalla in order to beat him up, and has to go from place to place to try to find Bhalla. In the meantime, Simi's mother goes along with Milli to Abhi and Anita's house in order to invite them to a prayer in their house; Mr. Taneja refuses since he says that relations between the houses are not good, but Mrs. Taneja agrees to come, and even persuades Anita to go back to Anuj's house (but Anita is not planning to go in a good mood).

Hindi TV Serial - 12/24 Karol Bagh - Anuj gets out of jail, after his family bails him out

Things are moving the right way for Simi and Abhi to some extent, given that they managed to rescue the brother Anuj from the wrong company of Rajeev Bhalla, and also managed to rescue the father from being harmed by the combination of Rajeev Bhalla and Anuj. They also managed to get Manju to see the current situation, and understand that Mili, Simi, and Abhi were on the correct side. When Manju got to know about the truth, and how Anuj had pushed his father down the stairs, she got Anuj locked up in jail along with Rajiv Bhalla.
But Simi was not very happy with all this. She was happy that her father was saved from danger, but Anuj was her own brother, and she wanted to get him out of jail. So she managed to get bail papers, but Anita reached the police station along with Nakul, and tore the bail papers. However, Nakul stabbed Anita in the back by getting Bhalla out of jail, and then refused to do anything for Anuj. Then Simi managed to persuade her mother to take back the complaint, which she reluctantly agreed to do. But there was the matter of the bank loan that Anuj and Bhalla had taken, and which was being used by the bank to threaten Anuj to remain in jail on charges of cheating (since he had forged the papers of the property).
Now Rajeev Bhalla is back to the forefront since he is also claiming their house of 12/24 Karol Bagh, and has threatened to get them evicted within 7 days. This is another pressure on them. On a positive note, the relation between Simi and Abhi, which has been affected by all that has happened since the marriage, seems to be moving towards a more intimate note, with a romantic interlude between them almost happening.

Hindi Serial - 12/24 Karol Bagh - Simi finally exposes the story of Anuj and how Rajeev Bhalla was also involved

The serial on Zee TV, 12/24 Karol Bagh is starting to move in Simi's favor. Till just a couple of episodes back, she was in severe trouble. Her marriage with Abhi (who is 8 years her junior) caused a huge amount of shock in all her relations. Except for one of her sisters (Mili) and her father, everybody else was against her. Her mother had publicly disassociated herself from Simi, and her brother Anuj always felt that their father always favored Simi, and that now he would look after himself. Her sister Neetu felt that Simi was behind the capture of her lover, and hence she hated Simi. Her mother felt very strongly that Simi had caused her an incredible amount of public embarassment, and did not want to talk to her anymore. And on the other side, Abhi's father had also broken off relations and turned out Abhi.
But Simi persisted in trying to do good for her family, and this now came to exposing the wrong-doings of Anuj and Anita. Anuj had started to associate with Rajeev Bhalla and go against his family, including getting the house transferred in his name. Their mother Manju refused to believe that her son Anuj could be causing any of this problem, believing that Simi was trying to defame Anuj. Still, Abhi and Mili went to the bank and tried to find out what Anuj was upto, and also why was there apparently a false notice served to get some fees on the family shop.
And then there was a 1 hour episode of the serial on Saturday (27 March 2010) where it finally became clear to everybody that Anuj was the one who was doing the change in trying to get the house transferred to his name. Bhalla was also pushing him by threatening to reveal that Anuj was the one who pushed his father down the stairs. Finally their mother Manju realized the truth, and has now pushed Anuj out of the house, and out of her life, and to jail.

Hindi Serial - 12/24 Karol Bagh - Unexpected turn of events, with Anuj starting to turn bad

12/24 Karol Bagh (on Zee TV) is a serial about love and relationships, and the disputes between the family members. Simi has been getting into more trouble ever since it became clear that she was interested in a relation with Abhi, who is 8 years younger to her. Eventually the relationship caused the break of a relation with her mother, since Simi did not raise the issue when her marriage to Nakul was being finalized. The biggest problem has been the attitude of her brother, Anuj, who has been behaving like a confused person to some extent, while acting like a villain in other cases.
In recent time, inspired by his wife, Anuj is now turning out to be a proper villain. Ever since he lost his job, he was not sure what to do, and then he got into the worst sort of company, becoming closer to Rajiv Bhalla (the ultimate villain of the serial); this was something that his father and sister would have strongly objected to. However, Anuj is now without a job (he got fired from his previous job) and is getting estranged from his father since he believes that his father does not trust him, and favors his sister Simi. And then his mother is still behaving very strongly, since she still is acting against Simi.
Now, Anuj has done the unmentionable, since he pushed his father down the stairs, which resulted in his father getting paralyzed, unable to speak or make many movements. He now wants to indicate to Simi about what happened, and Anuj does not want this to happen; to the extent that he is now threatening his father now to mention the reason why he fell down the stair, while Simi wants to know what really happened.

12/24 Karol Bagh - the good pair of Simi and Abhi have to continue to suffer

As expected, in any Hindi serial, it is the good people who are always shown as suffering. After all, this is what the viewers also want to see. So, in the case of the Zee serial 12/24 Karol Bagh, it is the good pair of Simi and Abhi who are suffering and out on the road. Simi almost got sucked into a marriage to Nakul when her mother wanted her younger daughter Neetu (already pregnant from her relationship with a driver who is now in jail for theft) to get married to Omi from the rich family, and a condition was that Simi should also get married to Nakul, the elder brother. Getting Omi married was a necessity since he was not totally of sound mind, and it was important that a girl was getting agreed to marry him.
However, at the time of the marriage of Simi, when Neetu and Omi had already got married, Abhi arrives on the scene and declares that Simi was to get married to him. Nakul creates a big scene, beats up Abhi, and almost kills him with a sword but Simi stands in the way. This creates a scene where finally Simi's mother denounces her, and claims that for her, Simi is dead. Her dad however is not happy at this, and there is almost a breakup between Simi's mother and father. In the meantime, Neetu is now married to Omi, and is very unhappy with the relationship and is very rude to most people in her inlaws place.
When Abhi's father, Mr. Taneja arrives back to his house and sees Abhi and Simi there, he turns them out and they have to leave the house. They are now out on the road, and wondering for a place to stay. Her father is frantic in worry, with only Simi's middle sister worried about her fate.

Bad character on TV - Wife wants him to withdraw

Imagine a villain on TV getting bad vibes in real life. Some of movie world's villains have been excellent people, such as Danny. Yet at the same time, if you do negative roles, there are many people who view you negatively.

Though his performance and character have been receiving rave reviews, Indresh Mallik, the infamous Rajeev Bhalla, of Zee TV’s ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’ is not a very happy man. Reason ironically being the same on-screen character. Indresh plays a negative role in the show, wherein he is addicted to all the bad habits ranging from ‘drinking to visiting brothels’. He even tries to rape his soon-to-be wedded wife, Simmi, in the show. Recently when Indresh, with his wife, visited the Jhandewala temple at the Capital, instead of getting appreciative attention from the passers-by, they threw dirty glances at him and stayed at an arm’s distance. They even, in a very mean way, addressed his wife and enquired on how she manages to stay with such a man. Indresh’s wife who though understands that it’s only his on-screen image that’s driving such reactions from the audience, is not very happy about receiving such feedback at public places. According to her, stepping out of the house has now turned into a bitter experience and she worries that someone on the road will out-of-the-blue start abusing Indresh without any real fault of his. She has been requesting the production house to soon end Indresh’s character in a positive way. Also a very few people know that Indresh actually is a fashion designer who had no acting aspirations till he landed with this offer, one fine day at the producer’s office. Hence his wife tries to reason out that even if he enjoys acting, he need not do such roles henceforth.

Ongoing drama on 12/24 Karol Bagh

The prospect of marriage, that too, between 2 families with different social status can cause a lot of emotions upheavals, demands, and egos, and so it was on 12/24 karol Bagh. Here is an update from previous week.
The Tarnejas have placed a demand putting Anuj in a quandary of getting Simi and Rajeev married one day prior to the already preponed wedding of Anuj and Anita.
Anuj is worried about this since he cannot even speak to his parents about this. Thus he confides about this to Simi , and behaves as if she is the one responsible for everything.
Simi is pained about this and bumps into Abhi in the temple when she goes to pray to save Anuj and Anita’s wedding.
Meanwhile Rajinder has gone to the Tarnejas residence to postpone the roka without knowing their demand. All hell breaks loose when Rajinder discusses his idea with the Tarnejas. The argument augments and Rajinder breaks the marriage proposal of Anuj and Anita. Rajinder bumps into Abhi and they have a cute spat. Abhi tells Anita not to worry as he will do something about it. Anuj and Simi come to know of this news and are dumbstruck. So is Manju. No one has courage to speak to Rajinder on this issue. On the same evening Anita is seen standing at Sethi’s door with her luggage. Manju and Rajinder are shell-shocked.
