Hindi TV Serial - Devon Ke Dev Mahadev - Mahadev and Narayan fight in patal-lok after Narayan forgets everything

Mythological serials tend to be researched and show a number of episodes which most people do not know. For example, even shows such as the Mahabharta and the Ramayana would show such episodes that people would not know about, or sometimes show an episode that people would find controversial (I remember in the Sagar Art's Ramayana, there was a specific episode dealing with snakes covering both Ram and Lakshman, which was so controversial that Ramanand Sagar appeared on the show and tried to explain to the viewers about how this particular sequence appeared in one of the scriptures and the script was taken from there).
In the last few episodes, the serial was showing a fight between Narayan and Mahadev, something that most people would find very strange and controversial - after all, along with Brahma, Narayan and Mahadev are the supreme beings in the universe and work with each other to ensure that the universe continues to prosper rather than fighting with each other.
This specific case came about because of Narayan wanting to make sure he fulfils the wishes of his devotees. In this case, the problem emerged when the father of Lakshmiji, Samudra, told Lakshmiji that he feared there was going to be some trouble, since his other daughters were praying to Narayan and Narayan is also very devoted to his devotees, caring for them and for their wishes. Lakshmiji comes back and is very disturbed, questioning Narayan about who is in his mind, who does he think about. Nararayan tells her honestly that he thinks about his devotees and also about Lakshmiji, something that makes her even more angry (after all, she said that you should be thinking only about me and not about anybody else).
However, when Narayanan learns that these sisters are on the verge of committing suicide, he appears there, and when they ask that he forgets his past and his powers and only stay with them, he agrees. There is now separation between Lakshmiji and Narayanan, something that hurts the entire universe and Mahadev is very disturbed. Finally when Lakshmiji comes there for help, he first tells her off about doubting Narayanan although she knows about his attachment to his followers and then goes off to Patal-lok to meet Narayanan.
There, they have a long battle with Mahadev defeating Narayanan everytime, but he is still not getting back his memory. Years have gone by, but this battle is still ongoing. Then Ganesh appears to meet Vishnu, and then tries to ensure that he gets his memory back. He also convinces the sisters to release Vishnu from the promise, and then Narayanan gets back his memory and the battle comes to an end.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Meethi finally gets married even though Mukta warns

It is only Uttaran kind of serial which can show such stuff. In other serials and in Hindi movies, when such a situation is happening where the heroine is about to get married to the bad guy, somebody or the other gets involved and ensures that the truth is out and the marriage is stopped (even when there is no hero actually involved). However, in this case, the serial shows that Mukta has learned the truth about Vishnu, who he actually is, since she has been suspecting this for a long time (in fact, another college girl who was suspecting the truth was found dead and Mukta actually went through her room in order to find out more details about what she knew about Vishnu).
However, Akash, who was playing Vishnu, found that Mukta had got to know everything about him, and got her kidnapped. However, he had not counted on the fact that Mukta's father was Rathore, somebody who was very resourceful and a hard man, capable of doing anything. Once Rathore had detected that Mukta was missing, he tried to get her on the phone and asked the police to get involved. The kidnappers had not switched off Mukta's phone initially and because of this, the phone details showed the address where Mukta was being held.
Rathore asked the police to come there, and went there himself ahead. He made his way inside, threatened everybody with a grenade, and after some fighting, managed to take Mukta out of there. Mukta was very worried that she would not be able to make it in time to stop the wedding, since she was still thinking of Meethis's happiness. They did reach there, but found people unwilling to listen to them. Because of previous efforts by Mukta, Meethi was very suspicious of her intentions, and suspected that Mukta had other intentions. Mukta even asked Vishnu to show a birth mark, which after a lot of drama, proved that Vishnu was right.
Finally the marriage happened, and Meethi is now getting into trouble, since she refused to listen to what Mukta was warning her. She will now enter into a different kind of family, one with political power.

Hindi TV Serial - Housewife Hai...Sab Jaanti Hai - Light hearted look at a housewife in a joint family

Serials in the past (or even now) show problems where women in the house do not get enough education, or are looked down upon if they try to get a job. There are even serials shown where the husband feels that his wife is threatening his ability to earn for the family if the wife also wants to go and work. Once in a while a serial comes in that threatens to turn this whole thing around, such as this new serial on Zee called "Housewife Hai...Sab Jaanti Hai". This is the story of a joint family, run by the strong mother of the house, played by Himani Shivpuri. She has a number of sons, some of them adult, and hence, with the recent marriage, she has a new daughter-in-law, Sona, who would be earning the precious amount of Rs. 40,000 per month.
So, out of the 4 daughter in laws, Sona would earn the highest, and the only one who does not get as much respect as the others is Neelam bahu, who is a housewife and does not earn any money for the house. As a result, she has very little respect from the mother-in-law, and consequently from the others in the house, and does all the household work, being put under pressure every day to ensure that all the household work gets done. She has accepted this, with even her own husband not giving her much respect.
And then comes in the new bahu, earning an amount larger than the other bahus, and they feel that their position will be threatened. And then comes a shocker, with Sona stating that she will give up her job and work as a housewife in the house. Her mother-in-law is shocked, enough that it could have probably given her a heart attack; and then she decides to put pressure on preventing Sona from going ahead on her ridiculous idea.
First pressure is put on the police inspector Kanhaiya, who is the young son and also the husband of Sona, but Sona is mostly able to wrap him around her little finger, and he does not really do what his mother expected him to do. So, the other strategy is to show Sona what the housewife will need to do, especially when there is no gas in the house; in this case Sona gets helped by 2 other bahus since they would like her to not work and stay in the house in order to retain their positions of respect; when this gets to be known to the mother-in-law, she punishes those 2 bahus for their help.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya back, trying to make things right

The serial has had multiple time leaps so far; in the past there was a time leap of 10 years where both Tapasya and Ichcha got older, and had much more complications in their life. Ichcha was seen as the good and honest one, but inherently stupid (my view) while Tapasya was seen as the more selfish one, and in this selfish nature, she could go to any extent and do acts that are termed as evil. In all this, she was supported by Nani, who fed all her desires and made her more selfish and amoral. By the time of the next leap, Ichcha had murdered Avinash, who was threatening Veer at that time, and was sentenced to prison. In this duration, Veer, who had a memory loss, was re-married by his mother (who had a distaste for Ichcha) and who brought up Ichcha and Veer's son to be extremely selfish and arrogant.
In this next time, for a period of 18 years, Tapasya was away from the serial, as was Rathore. Further, Ichcha was out of prison at the end of this period, and the set of children were all adult now, Meethi, Mukta and Yuvraj. Things are a bit complex in their interactions, especially since Jogi Thakur is now poor, while Damini is now rich. There are more complications in this story, with Yuvraj finally being sent to prison on a rape charge, where testimony is being provided by his own mother Ichcha.
Meethi was against her own mother for quite some time, but now things are more reconciled. She is also in love with Vishnu, from their past, but things are not quite what they seem to be. Mukta, who has started believing in the goodness of Ichcha, sees that there is something suspicious about Vishnu, but is still to gather all the information that is necessary to change things. In between, is the story of Mukta and Tej Singh (another evil character), where Tej Singh wanted to marry Mukta, but Tapasya (entering the serial again) takes the place of Mukta and gets married to Tej Singh. She wants to reconcile Veer and Ichcha, something opposed by Gunwanti, who is feeding a medicine to Veer to ensure that he does not remember his past, but he has started remembering a few things, and in between remembered Veer fully.

Hindi TV Serial - Hitler Didi - cancer taking the life of Indira

The serial shows Indira taking care of her family after her father has left them for another woman. As a result, she has become much harder and dominant, earning the name of Hitler Didi for her domineering ways; but she takes care of her family and does not even mind telling off her father. Over a period of time, there comes some change in her life when she gets a new tenant Rishi, and over a period of time, and under some circumstances, she gets married to Rishi.
Indira does not really feel anything towards the marriage at first, but later she does feel the bond and some more circumstances later, they have a good married relationship. However, there is more drama to come, with Indira being diagnosed with a brain tumor and this is a terminal disease. Her financial situation is not so good and the treatment for this tumor is not definite and very expensive, so she is not able to try that treatment. Further, she has not yet told even Rishi about this, in fact Rishi and everybody else in the house has come to believe that her medical issues are because she is pregnant.
Now Indira is worried about how her family will cope without her and how her husband will also cope without her, given how close he is now to her. She gets a shop started for her family and also prompts Rishi to apply for a job so that atleast there is some financial security once she is gone and she can no longer provide for them. 

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaasa - Mona gets promoted very high, seems very strange

A lot of people would have seen the movie called 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke' where a cute Aamir Khan was trying to save his factory from the clutches of a rich vengeful man, and even when he had completed the order, his truck was stolen and he finally recovered the truck and everything became good again.
Kya Hua Tera Vaasa had almost a similar episode, where Mona was stuck in a major trap set by Anushka, with Mona not wanting the workers of a part of the company to be fired since it was going to be closed down. Anushka was of course wanting those workers to be fired, but Mona, goaded by anushka, agreed to a promise whereby if the unit was turned around in 3 months, everything would be fine, but if not, she would leave the company. And then, for some time, nothing happened.
And then, the new owner of the company came to India, and noticed that the unit had not been shut down; he became angry and Anushka fed the anger, to the extent, he claimed that since there were only 2 days left to complete the order, if the order was not completed, he would fire Mona. Mona was scared, but then managed to recruit a group of women's activists, with the help of Anushka's mother. When Anushka got to know, she goaded her mother to remove the activists, but then Mona spoke to her again and things were all right again and the production was completed.
But, the truck was hijacked, and they set out in pursuit, finally managed to catch the truck, get the completed items, beat up the hijackers, get to know that Anushka was involved; then the client got the order, was happy and everybody was happy. Further, the boss got to know that Anushka was involved, which caused her a lot of shame, and then the surprise announcement - Mona was made the President of the company, at the same level as Anushka, and now senior to Pradeep.
This was a very very surprising development, and one wonders how Mona could have been made the President, she does not have the experience or the competence level as of now; very surprising since one would have expected the serial to show the slower growth of Mona. 

Hindi TV Serial - Kya Hua Tera Vaada - Mona and Pradeep still out on a social gathering

The character of Pradeep in the serial is being shown as more and more negative. When it turned out that the proposal by Jatin may be accepted, he tries everything to prevent this from happening, to the extent that he calls Mona's parents (the same ones who were not willing to accept Mona in their home after the breakup) over; they come and start lamblasting Mona's inlaws for trying to get rid of Mona and so on. Then finally the serial shows some amount of steel in Mona since she questions them about whether they are really for Mona, or for their status in society, and finally manages to quieten them. And then when Pradeep tries to say something, she gives him a verbal slap.
This however is not enough for Pradeep. On the other side, Anushka also learns that Pradeep was trying to prevent Mona's remarriage, and also that he had called her parents over, and further, he had taken Anushka out to dinner so that he could keep an eye out on Mona and Jatin's dinner date. She tells him that he has to decide where he wants to be, and she leaves the place, asking him to make a decision. It would be pretty clear to him that Anushka has her own mind, and will not take the same sort of shit that he used to give to Mona.
In another incident, Anushka and Mallika see Mona in a nursing home and learn that the reports show that she is pregnant (might be that the report is actually of Taani, who is pregnant after her relationship with Madhav). Anushka manages to obtain a copy of the report and is going to use that to make an announcement in the engagement party of Mona's cousin where Mona and Pradeep will be going as a couple.

Hindi TV Serial - Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha - Mohan fired upon, misunderstandings coming up

The serial suddenly is taking a different twist, trying to create a small diversion in the script (and one does not know whether this will be a small diversion or a change in the script). In the course of a new story research, the journalists at the paper are told that this is a very dangerous assignment, since the group at the other end is a drugs group, prone to violence and threatening people. Mohan is on the rebound from a rebuff that Megha gave him, coupled with a slap. On this rebound, he agrees for this assignment, and Megha is aghast. However, when she tries to stop him, he asks her the same question as earlier, with what right is she trying to stop him. She has no answer and he goes home and then leaves for the assignment. However, since Megha does have feelings for him, she goes after him. Mohan is now running for his life with the gang after him, after he managed to take a lot of hidden photos inside the location. They come across a marriage procession, where all 3 are present - Mohun, Megha and the goons. In front of Megha the goons fire into Mohan's chest and she hurries him off to the hospital. This quick action of stopping his blood flow and rushing him to the hospital saves the life of Mohan, with doctors also stating the same.
In the hospital, Mohan's mother berates Megha for not stopping him when she knew that he was going into danger, telling her that she should go away from Mohan's life and let him lead it away from her. In the meantime, at Megha's house,  a letter written by Mohan is seen as coming from Amar, and the net result is that the household feels that Megha should get re-married, as per the wishes of Amar, and she also finally agrees. However, when Megha's father-in-law visits Mohan, he is going there to offer insurance without being explicit about it, and it is misunderstood that he is telling Mohan that he should get married to Megha.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The time leap happens, 18 years in the future

As happens in many serials when they want to prolong the story, they do a time leap, since that gives them the feeling that this will lead to a refreshing of user interest, introduce new characters, and so on. However, so many serials have done this by now that people are bored, or they lose connectivity with the revamped serial and do not follow it again. One prime example of this one is 'Na Aana Iss Des Mein Ladoo' where after the time leap, I lost the threads of the serial and no longer found it interesting.
One wonders what will happen in Uttaran ? They have already got rid of some of the main characters, with the absence of Veer, Tapasya, and Rathod (in fact, Rathod was a very interesting character in the serial, very different from the others who seem very superficial, and his presence had livened up the whole serial). Anyhow, onto the current story.
So, after Avinash attacks Veer, Ichcha is very angry and kills Avinash in a frenzy. Nani is passing by (always such coincidences) and calls up the police from there who come and arrest Ichcha. And since Veer is in a condition in hospital where due to his injuries, he is not able to remember a lot of his life, he cannot recall what happened between Ichcha, Veer and Avinash and is not able to give this testimony in court (and it seems very strange that the court does not take into the account the history between them, Avinash's previous attempts, and so on) and as a result, Ichcha is sentenced to a life term (which is also strange, since this should have been a much reduced terms).
Anyhow, Ichcha hands the responsibility of her daughter Meethi and Kanha to Ammo and tells her that Meethi should not be told about Ichcha, and now 18 years later, Meethi has grown up to be a very irritating character in college, and lives with Kanha and Ammo.

Hindi TV Serial - Adalat - The first time that the serial has gone into the concept of reincarnation

Adalat is a serial that is based on the activities of a defense attorney who mostly defends people in murder investigations. The serial has a lot of drama, especially the way that the defense lawyer (known as KD Pathak, who refused to tell the full form of KD) works in court. He flouts many of the principles, goes to sites, finds evidence, and then presents these in court himself (which seems very strange, since how can a defense attorney, who is defending the convict, be trusted to actually present evidence that can exonerate his client). He can browbeat the prosecutor, and even the judge (and in one case, almost forced the judge to reverse his decision, or atleast delay the decision).
Till now the serial works on the basis that the serial does not support any kind of paranormal activity, always trying to dispel other people who talk about ghosts / spirits, and so on. However, in a 2 part episode, the serial, for the first time, actually propagated the concept that reincarnation works. So, there is a 20 year old from Goa who comes to KD and asks for getting his mother, convicted of murdering him 20 years back, off, since he does not believe that his mother was the guilty one.
KD for some time does not believe, and is very puzzled as to how to bring this case to court, since the judge will kick the case out of court if he figures out that the case was built on the basis of reincarnation; so he showcases facts as if he got them from a diary. Finally, when the information comes out, the judge is going to close the case, but KD gets him to listen to the young man for some time, and finally is able to prove that somebody else has done the murder.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - The marriage between Ram Kapur and Priya finally happens

For some time now, the track of the events leading to the wedding has been ongoing, and it's going to be a double wedding, with first the wedding of Karthik and Natasha happening, and later the wedding of Ram and Priya going to happen. Just after the wedding of Karthik and Natasha, it became clear that everybody will have problems later with Natasha, since she became adamant that they will need to leave for their honeymoon right now (since her friends have gifted her an expensive honeymoon, else they will lose their flight tickets), while Karthik is flabbergasted at how she could think that they will go for their honeymoon and Karthik will not attend the wedding of his elder sister. Ram is also very shocked by the fact that his younger sister could not care to attend his wedding; but as the situation starts to turn ugly, Priya gets in and convinces Karthik that he should leave for his honeymoon. At the honeymoon hotel, Natasha develops an allergy to a face pack and is advised by Karthik that this was a punishment to her for her bad behavior at the marriage.
Now, the marriage between Ram and Priya runs into a small hitch when the vehicle carrying Priya develops a problem, and then at the marriage location, the earlier marriage has not yet concluded, so they need to wait a bit more. However, finally the marriage happens with all the drama happening when she leaves her parents and goes away with Ram Kapoor.
Because of the muhurat time being set for the next morning, they need to spend time in a hotel room, which gets embarrassing when their close friends Vikram and Neha decorate the room with flowers, exactly of the type that would suit a honeymoon suite, and make plenty of comments about the marriage night before they leave. Vikram gets called to the office where he learns that Ram's brother Sid is cheating him, and he has to do something soon.

Hindi TV Serials - Pavitra Rishta - Money problems finally lead Maanav to jail

Some time back, the serial had started showing Manav in a slightly improved situation, with his business picking up and things starting to look up. However, the serial seems to be based on the concept of showing humanity even when things look bleak, and so the serial keeps on putting Maanav and Archana in poor conditions, but where they still trying to help everybody else.
So, now in the latest developments, Manav is stuck in a horrible financial condition. He is signing checks even when he does not have the money in the bank, doing this for good conditions.
First, his inlaws are in a bad condition, with a loan amount overdue for Rs. 1 lakh, and they have been unable to pay the money. Finally the bank manager along with the police land up with an eviction order and start removing all their stuff from the house. All their efforts to dissuade the bank manager do not work, and finally when all their stuff is removed from the house and the house is getting locked, they are in despair. They do not even have a place to stay if they are evicted from their current house. However, at the last minute, Manav comes with a check for the amount ensuring that the eviction notice is stopped. But, he does not have the money in the bank.
There are other issues that he has with respect to the business, and overall now he is very badly stuck for money; and with Archana pregnant, he has to ensure that she is getting proper care as well.
And finally the police come to arrest him and take him away, for not repaying the money that is due from him, and others cannot do anything about this. The person who has got him arrested is not willing to do anything unless he gets his money back.

Hindi TV Serial - Saas Bina Sasural - A fairly new serial on Sony TV about a girl's marriage into a all male household

A lot of serials are made on the concept of the conflict within a household once new daughter-in-laws enter the house, especially the conflict between the saas of the house and the daughter-in-law; so when a serial came in with the tagline that what happens when there is no mother-in-law in the house or even when there is no single girl in the house.
This is the story of Taanya (who is also known as 'Toasty', played by Aishwarya Sakhuja), who is a beautiful and intelligent modern girl. She is in love with a young man named Tej (Ravi Dube as Tejprakash Chaturvedi). They are sure that they want to marry, but Tej has a secret, his family consists entirely of men, with not a single women in the house. This can cause a lot of problem for any girl's family given the fact that a house with only men could be considered uncouth and not fit for a girl.
However, Toasty is determined to make a good wife and daughter-in-law and moves into the house, with the house filled with characters who seem strange to her. There is the grandfather and head of the family who is very favorable to Taanya, and then other people in the house, with most of them elder to Tej. They are all living their own lives, work for the same shop that they own. And it is difficult for them to adjust to a newcomer in the house who can change a lot of the way stuff happens in the house; and slowly Toasty is learning more about what happens in the house.
She has a lot of support from Tej, but in some cases, it is difficult for Tej to also do anything when his elders put pressure on him to get Toasty to modify something or the other - she is turn is very gentle and is trying her best to ensure that things happen well.

Hindi TV Serial - Pavitra Rishta - The situation turns embarrassing for Manav, since he is seen as a waiter

Some of the characters in the serial are being shown with some twists in their character. The biggest surprise has been in the nature of the 2 sisters of Archana, Varsha and Vaishu. Both of them seem to be totally against Maanav, and to some extent against Maanav. Their sister-in-law Manju is also totally against Maanav, and also against Archana to a large degree.
Things are slowly moving to a head in the story regarding the double life of Dharmesh, who was already married to Madhuri and had a son, before he got married to Vaishu, who is also now pregnant. The story is moving closer to a revelation, with Vaishu slowly starting to feel a bit uneasy, and the story being shown as showing Madhuri and Vaishu bumping into each other at various intervals, and some close situations where Vaishu could have come face to face with the truth. Both Maanav and Archana know the truth, and Dharmesh knows that they know, and hence is very worried about what Maanav will do.
The situation reaches an embarrassment when Maanav has taken a job as a waiter at a hotel, and by coincidence, Sateesh selects the hotel as the occasion for the marriage anniversary celebrations of his and Varsha's marriage. At the ceremony, they come across Maanav as his role of a waiter, and many of them feel very bad at the situation, such as Varsha, Vaishu, Manujsha, her mother, etc, since they feel that it reflects badly on their family if a son-in-law is working as a waiter, and also feel that Maanav deliberately did this so that everybody would be humiliated. However, Maanav does not care too much for this, since he feels that this is a job like any other job and he needs to do this to take care of his wife and their future. Further, Satheesh is also supporting, but he never forces the issue with Varsha since she would pick up a fight with him on this.

Hindi TV Serials - Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya - Arushi gets taken by force by Shakti

Something very strange is ongoing in the serial right now, especially when it comes to the right of women. Arushi marries Shakti when Shakti is already married to Kesar, and under the Hindu marriage code, Shakti cannot marry a second time when his first wife is alive. Pratigya and Krishna have been protesting this for quite some time, but have not managed to persuade any of the other family members, Shakti, SS, or Amma that what is happening is wrong. Instead, Krishna is criticized by all of them for turning over to the other side and only supporting his own wife.
And a new issue crops up when Arushi realizes that what she has done is wrong, that Pratigya was trying to help her and that she made a mistake by marrying Shakti in anger. She wants to change things, and seek the support of her family who have disowned her ever since she married Shakti. She manages to escape and goes along with Krishna and Pratigya back to her father's house who finally accepts her back. However, Shakti and Sajjan Singh come there, and using a gun, force Arushi to go back with them. Shyamji and Adarsh head to SS's house and lodge a complaint with the police and an inspector comes with them. After much coaxing, SS finally gets Amma to get Arushi from the room inside, and Arushi wants to leave. However, when the inspector finds out that Arushi had married out of her own choice and has not suffered any harm, he does not care that she wants to leave and tells her that she has to remain there. A strange action on behalf of the police.
Shakti is getting in a bad state, wanting to take Arushi, and is talking about killing Kesar so that he has only one wife, and that is Arushi.

Hindi TV Serial - Rang Badalti Odhani - Finally Khanak reveals her love for Shantanu

For quite some episodes now, there has been an ongoing thread in the serial about the love relationship between Khanak and Shantanu, and how Khanak has been unable to articulate her love for Shantanu, even though she can feel it. As a result, Shantanu has been pushing Khanak about this, and threatening her in various ways that unless she does say so, the relationship between them will become more difficult.
And another occasion is coming up, where the marriage anniversary of Shantanu's father and mother is coming up, and there is some tension between these 2 people (and there is also some tension between the elder brother and sister-in-law of Shantanu). Part of this has been building up for some time, and it grew somewhat serious such that the 2 husbands were thrown out of their rooms.
Finally Khanak promises Shantanu that she will do the formal proclamation of her love during the celebration of the marriage anniversary inside the house, in front of everybody, something that Shantanu just cannot believe. And in turn, Shantanu, does a song and dance at the celebration, using his old guitar that he has not been using college (and for which he had scolded Khanak pretty badly, asking her as to how she could dare touch his old items).
Finally, Khanak gives a long speech at the occasion, touching the lives of all the family members, making them realize their love for each other, and of course touching Shantanu a lot, and showing a number of lovey-dovey scenes between them.

Hindi TV Serials - Bhagyavidhaata - Time for a long leap, 15 years or more

Most serials in the Indian Hindi TV industry start planning for a leap when they see viewer attention flagging, and need to bring in some fresh blood and some changes to the storyline. Bhagyavidhaata, which started as a serial that showcases the challenges faced due to the situation in Bihar where eligible bachelors are kidnapped and married by force, and the problems faced in such relationships, where the bride is not accepted by the family.
The serial however, soon settled into the familiar rut of the conflicts and controversies in a family, especially when members of the family can get into a conspiring mode. So, even though the relationship between Bindiya and Vinay settled down after some period of tension and hostility, the acceptance by other members of the household was much more difficult.
And now, the serial has gone in for the next step of Hindi Serials, which is the concept of a time leap. So, the serial is set to do a 15 year time leap, with Vinay having already died in the serial (since he refused to act in the show as a middle aged man, having aged 15 years); some other characters such as Poonam will also be in the show. In addition, Raja has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, and there is a huge amount of tension since everybody blames Bindiya for the situation leading to the murder of Vinay.
Bindiya is also pregnant, so the 15 year time leap will ensure that the next round of conflict will be over this child, since the child is apparently being taken away by Vinay's brother and bhabhi, and Bindiya is fighting this.

Hindi TV Serial - Geet - Hui Sabse Parai - Geet and Mann part over a misunderstanding, but things get crazy

Geet started out with a tragic story about a girl who get duped by a NRI out for her money, and who had to run away from home in order to escape the relatives who were all about forcing her to get an abortion for family honor. The story then moved into a romance, where she was attracted to her boss, and he attracted to her, and was a cute romance story (especially since the boss was a tough boss and she could act like a bumbling secretary). Their romance was however fated to go through a lot of problem, since her past caught up with her in terms of the presence of Mann's brother, Dev, being the person who had duped her and then ended up making her pregnant due to their intimacy at the time of their honeymoon.
Finally, things seemed to be looking better, even though Geet had run away from the engagement party once she caught sight of Dev and learned that he was Mann's brother; however, they met again and finally Mann, once he got to know that Dev was the person responsible for duping Geet, called the police and got both Dev and Nayantara arrested.
However, Geet started getting a bit suspicious ever since she overheard a conversation where Mann seemed to be suggesting that he would marry Geet in order to also get Dev out, and then soon after, she saw Dev out of the police station. Her anger erupts (even though Dev was out for only 2 hours in order to meet his grandmother), and she erupts in anger at Mann (even though he was in a office meeting where he was suggesting giving Geet a 51% stake in the business). Overall, they have a huge skirmish where Geet and Mann decide to separate and Geet leaves the company.
However, there is a comedy that is happening now, since Mann buys the company where Geet is now working (but they keep on having their skirmishes); but the serial is acting a bit weird since the new company seems very weird, one wonders how the company can survive.

Hindi TV Serials - Uttaran - Tapasya likely to come back to the house after being cast out

Till now, the show has seen Tapasya slowly sliding in the quality of her life after being cast out of the houses, both by Veer and by Jogi. However, Tapasya has never really felt that she did anything wrong, and in turn blames Ichcha for whatever has gone wrong with her. After being turned out of the house, she even associates herself with a local businessman and does gambling, but eventually keeps on going down in life. Finally, she has to take a place in a chawl, and gets some work (although she is not used to working, or to getting up early enough in the day required for working). Finally, she loses this job as well, is now in danger of losing her chawl as well (since she is also out of money now). It is at this time that Jogi feels that she has suffered enough and should be taken back in the house, and also she is pregnant.
On the other hand, in Veer's house, there is some regular drama happening, as usual because of Ichcha. Ichcha has been scolding Veer for some time now for not behaving as appropriately towards her like he should towards a sister-in-law, and finally Veer snaps back. He shows her a mirror to whatever she has done in the past, and essentially tells her that she has taken care of the needs of everybody, whether they be Jogi, Tapasya, Vansh, but every time it is Veer who has been neglected, and it is his feelings that have been broken by Ichcha. Ichcha realizes that this is true.
In the meantime, Veer's mother decides that Veer has been in depression long enough, and it is maybe time for him to get married, and Veer agrees in principle for this.

Hindi TV Serial - Bandini - The Mahabharat in Dharamraj's family

After the 16 year transition, things have changed a lot in Bandini. It is becoming more like the saas-bahu serials with the same amount of intrigue and fighting inside a family as used to happen in the past. The transition has resulted in a new set of enemies from the new generation, including those who were close to the family in the past. So, you still have the close relationship between Dharamraj and Santu, and with other family members except for Shashank and Kaddu. Just before the shutdown, there was a fight between Shashank and Kaddu due to adulterated medicine from Shashank's factory being provided to Santu, which caused DM to kick Shashank out. And Vishal remained with Megha who had taken him away, in order to ensure that he does not remain close to Santu and DM, and in order to ensure that he will hate them.
So now you have the next generation as young adults, with Shashank becoming anti-DM, no longer the lovable person in the earlier episodes (and the actor playing the character also changed); so Shashank's sons Danesh and Parth (who may be Monghi's son) are always angry and want to defeat DM and their other cousins. Kaddu is solidly behind Shashank, and eventually against her own father.
And Vishal is scheming to break up the house, since he continues to believe that it was Santu and DM who were against his mother, Megha, and enter the house and win their trust so that he can scheme from within the house. However, his truth is finally revealed to DM, and he is getting ready to kick Vishal out of the house. Vishal is pretty sure that Santu will get broken by this, but DM is sure that Santu will understood that Vishal is full of hate (and one wonders whether this is also shown as one of the effects of the curse that Motiben gave to Santu when Santu came to visit her in jail).
