Hindi TV Serial - Diya Aur Bati Hum - Sandhya exposes bribery, hunting for the culprit

This is the last chance for Sandhya. She has already gone through 2 chances that Bhabho gave her, and 2 of her matkas where broken thus giving her only one chance for reaching her ambition of joining the IPS and becoming a police officer. This last chance is if she wins a contest called SBC (Sabse Bada Champion). To the surprise of everyone in the family, Emily also wanted to take part in the show since this would give a chance for her to win some money (and this would replace the money that Mohit lost in the chit fund). There was some apprehension about whether she would be able to attend, but in the end, Bhabho allowed her to attend the contest as well, and to some extent, Bhabho would rather Emily won the show, since she does not want Sandhya to win the show and go for a career in the IPS.
The show has now started, and there was some surprise about the fact that 2 members of the same family entered the show. The show took the entrants through some round of questions, and there would be people eliminated in the various rounds. In the first round, Sandhya did great and topped. On the other hand, Emily barely scraped through. However, in the next round, where the contestants had to convince a large number of people in a movie hall to go with them, Emily won the round. Now things were getting tense. It was this time that Mohit wanted to make sure that Emily won, and he found that his old friend, Manoj is a part of the show, and he manages to get Manoj to come and give him answers for the forthcoming round.
In the next round, Sandhya and Emily are in one round where they have to select an article, and there they have to show between a rope and a tissue roll. Emily has been told that the roll is the correct item, but Sandhya insists on the rope, and it turns out that the rope was indeed the answer, Manoj had mistook rope for roll.
However, soon after Sandhya smells something wrong, while in the meantime Manoj is trying to get the laptop of Abhimanyu, so that he can find the answer. He finally manages to get hold of the laptop, but in the meantime Sandhya is suspicious of Manoj and follows him, and then she manages to get hold of his phone and shows it to everyone, thus showing that he had been helping somebody. Everybody is shocked that Manoj was trying to subvert the show, and they decide to hold off the contest proceedings till they find the name of the participant who was getting help from Manoj. And they all praise Sandhya for her attempts in this regard.
On the other side, Meena is starting to have motherly feelings towards Mishri, who is actually her daughter, and tried to get close to her, but Daisa stops her from doing son. And then the precap for an upcoming episode shows that Meena and Chavvi will have a argument where Meena will reveal many things that Chavvi did, and Bhabho hears all those.

Hindi TV Serial - Pratigya - Shakti pushes everybody out of the house, citing his ownership

So, the scene finally happened. Shakti was successful in his attempts, and he cited the papers that he got Sajjan Singh to sign through deceit, and then told Sajjan Singh that this was now Shakti Niwas, it all belonged to him, and turned all of them out of the house. One thinks that they have suddenly decided to show Shakti as totally negative, since there was on need for him to turn all of them out of the house, especially his mother, his grand mother, and his own son. And of course, he does not know the true nature of his own wife Menaka, since she would not think twice before kicking him out of the house as well.
So, now they are out of the house, sitting in a park at night, wondering what to do. Sajjan Singh no longer has that arrogance, since he no longer has the money with him, his own son has deserted him, and his other son is still in jail, unable to get bail and likely to stay there over the weekend. Finally Pratigya tells them to come to her home, and even though they are a bit reluctant, they decide to do this.
At the Professor's house, Sajjan Singh is unable to lift his eyes because of all that he has said and done to the Professor, but gives them the rooms in order to stay. Komal is incredibly angry at what Shakti has done, but right now nothing can be done. When Tanmay says some words against them, Pratigya defends all of them, including Amma, which makes Amma very happy.
In the promos, it is Pratigya who will do something in terms of revenge, and to get the money and house of Sajjan Singh back to him from the clutches of Shakti. We have to see how this will proceed.

Hindi TV Serial - Maryada Lekin Kab Tak - Devyani finally launched divorce proceedings

The show has shown the distances between Brahmanand and his wife Devyani growing over a period of time. This increased when Devyani got to know about the relationship that her husband has formed with her own sister Uttara. She is also very angry at Uttara over what has happened, and cannot understand how Uttara would have formed a relationship with her own brother-in-law, that too when her own sister is there in the household.
Priya is fully supportive of her mother-in-law and so is Brahmanand's father who is also aware of the fact that his son is an evil man, who has betrayed his own wife many times, and who is guilty of numerous other crimes. However, Brahmanand's younger son, Aditya does not know the reality of his father, and so is unable to understand what his mother is doing, and how his own wife Priya is also going against his own father (he still does not know that the attempted molestation of his own wife Priya was also done by his own father).
So now the case is in court, with Brahmanand doing his own case, and he is trying to ensure that he uses all the tactics he knows to twist the facts, to portray himself as the wronged one, the one on whose character there is a taint; and he manages to deny all the accusations so far. This is putting Devyani in a twist, since she wants to avoid calling Uttara, and she has a lot of doubts about calling her own sister on the stage and accuse her of having an affair with her own brother-in-law, but this has now happened and the fact about Uttara has also been put on the stage.
There are a lot of doubts about whether Uttara will indeed admit to the affair in court, and Brahmanand has also threatened her not to do something like this. In addition, Brahmanand seeks to turn the tables on Devyani by accusing her of having an affair with her lawyer.

Hindi TV Serial - Looteri Dulhan - Cheating people on a regular basis, by marring them and deserting them

Once in a while, you hear the story of a person who has cheated some gullible men by marring them and then decamping with their valuables. This is contrary to the story where women are cheated and tormented in their marriage. The story revolves around this girl Billo, from a Haryana family, who is part of the plan to marry older men, then steal all their belongings. In their life, they pretend to be sari traders so that their neighbors think that they make their living from this business.
Billo is not the daughter of the family, she is instead an orphan who was adopted by the family and brought up for the purpose of this cheating. She is an orphan because when she was very young, there was severe flooding in the village and she got separated from the children. Part of her hopes that when she gets married, she also meets her family in the wedding somewhere.
And to her astonishment, in one of these marriages, she does meet her father, who also does her kanyadan and gives her away in marriage. Now, since her real father has given her away, she believes that this is a sign to her to be honest, and she decides that this marriage will be the real thing, and she will do all she can to be good and honest. But, in a twist of fate, things turn out the other way and the person to whom she got married to is already married, and he is married to a lady who is really sick, he needs the Looteri Dulhan for that - to take care of her.
Billo is attached to them, and takes her work seriously. The show changes away from the characters of Billo's family and towards her new family.
