Hindi TV Serial - Diya Aur Bati Hum - Marriage rituals for Mohit and Emily

The marriage of Mohit and Emily was finally on. After a lot of struggle for acceptance of this marriage, finally everybody had accepted. Due to the struggle in the village (which would have refused to accept a marriage between different castes), Sandhya finally managed to get everybody to agree to the wedding even though there was a lot of drama, and even their life was threatened. Eventually, Maasa was convinced and over-rode any objections Bhabho may have had about this, telling Sandhya that she was to be the one responsible for ensuring that the marriage would happen, and to organize the marriage events.
On the other hand, Meena gave birth to a child, which was a girl, but she managed to swap places with the child born in Daisa's house, which was a boy. This swap happened in a hospital where there was a lot of confusion going on since there were a number of deliveries happening at the same time and the hospital was under-staffed. Ever since then, Meena had been under a lot of pressure, since she feared that her truth would get exposed one time or the other. Even the fact that the child had a much darker complexion that her or her husband was an item of concern for her since others had already pointed this out - however Bhabhasa had managed this by pointing out that his complexion was darker, and hence it could be that the child had got the dark complexion from him.
Now, when people from 2 different regions or castes get married, there is often confusion about the marriage functions, since there could be difference in the customs of the marriage festivities. And when the marriage is between people of different religions, there would be a lot more differences, including the fact that a function would also need to happen in church. Bhabho was in her heart not very happy about this, and Meena was doing her best to stoke the fears of Bhabho in this respect by pointing out that eventually Sandhya would become all powerful, and would actually become a police officer. As a result, Bhabho repeated her internal vow that she would not let Sandhya join the police, and become an officer.
There were a lot of compromises that were happening in the marriage festivities, and the 2 different sets of festivities were very different from each other, but if something failed, then it would be repeated and eventually the festivities were proceeding. A problem for Meena was that one of the nurses from the hospital was also there, and her fear about getting exposed was there; and then she would also see her husband getting friendly with the nurse, which also brought about her jealousy.
Bhabho on the other hand had heard about some liquour chocolates that were there as part of the festivities, and she managed to feed some of them to Sandhya, and Sandhya was starting to feel dizzy because of these.

Hindi TV Serial - Parichay - Wedding of Siddhi with Abhay, under force

As usual, the serial goes through more twists and turns, and the twists and turns in turn make the story more painful and more complicated. The problems that these people go through is much more complicated than people all around you. The life of Siddhi and Kunal is shown to be much more complicated, with the period of time that there is pain and separation being much more than any time period of happiness. So, you had a time period when there was a long period of separation, a time when the Chopra family thought ill of Siddhi, and it was only at the end of 9 years that Siddhi and Kunal got together and reconciled their differences (siddhi told Kunal about what all she had done for the family and also about their second son that Kunal did not know about). They agreed to resume their marriage with Siddhi coming back to the house, although that was met by some opposition by Veena, but Kunal overcame all this opposition and got everybody to agree to Siddhi coming back. Her son was overjoyed at this and made plans to welcome back his mother from whom he had been separated for 9 years.
However, this was not to be. Sulekha was not happy about what this decision of Siddhi and was wondering about the impact of this on her son Abhay who had got used to having Siddhi in the house and her son at home, and so it turned out. When Kunal came to Abhay's house to take back his wife, he was shocked to see her getting married to Abhay and when he questioned her, he was told that the marriage was with the consent of Siddhi, and even shown papers to this effect. And then kicked out of the house. This sent him back to despair, made Richa extremely happy since she felt that this shock might cause her to come back to Kunal's life, and caused more distress to Kunal's family. Seema spoke out against Siddhi very strongly when she came to know about this.

Hindi TV Serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hai - The marriage between Ram Kapur and Priya just about to happen

So far this serial on Sony TV has been an interesting serial, with a not very complicated story. You have 2 middle aged persons, supposedly past the marriageable date, where they have not married because of multiple reasons, part of which involves supporting their families. So Ramp Kapur is the well off businessman who has been supporting his family. However, he does not know that his step-mother does not think kindly of him and does not want well of him, since she wants him to be in such a position where he continues to support the family. Her brother and others also work for Ram, but do no good and are part of her machinations. Ram has a younger sister on whom he dotes on, and cannot tolerate any kind of trouble to come to her, as a result of which she has becomes spoiled and ill-mannered.
Priya lives in a middle class family, is very attached to her family, and is a professor otherwise. She has had a series of run-ins with Ram Kapur over different occasions in the past, and was somewhat uncomfortable with the decision of marriage (which was sought to be a marriage of convenience since their younger siblings were also getting married). Ram's mother wanted him to be married to a simple girl since then should continue to control everything that is happening, and hence felt that Priya would be very suitable for this occasion.
Now, the wedding ceremonies have started happening, but there was a complication. Ram was diagnosed with high Blood Pressure and admitted to hospital just when the mehendi ceremony was going to start, and as a result of that, he was missing from the ceremony. After initially hiding this from Priya, Ram's friend told her about this and she came to see Ram in the hospital.
