Hindi TV Serial - Anamika - Rano dies to save Jeet from Anamika

The serial is trying to best to be different. For a few days, the viewers of the serial would have thought that they were in Raaz, where the ghost was doing its best to get the hero (although the hero in this case had not committed adultery, but instead had been drawn in by the magic done by Anamika). But the twist is seen in the current days, where instead of breaking the spell of the witch (actually Anamika is shown as a witch, but since she had died and come back, I am not sure about the difference between a witch and a ghost in this case), the heroine is given a chance to prevent the witch from dragging off her husband by evening, and does so at the cost of her life.
So, things have reached a point where they are very serious. Anamika was able to get hold of Jeet a couple of times, but Rano managed to get back Jeet every time. And then she got married to Jeet in a temple, while being aware that something strange is going on. There is a fog that is seen outside a window and near a tree, and the family dog starts barking outside even though there is nobody there who can be seen. Priests are there to help in the functions, but these priests are killed by Anamika. Anamika uses these priests by getting in them and use their voices to call Rano to different locations.
Anamika also causes a lot of problems to Rano, when she gets inside Rano soon after marriage and causes her to behave strangely. For example, Rano speaks in a harsh way to her mother-in-law when she says something, and soon after marriage, no one would expect their daughter-in-law to speak badly to them, especially somebody you have known for some time. There is some tension between the mother of Rano and Jeet after this. Further, Rano's mother gets a heart attack when she is trying to catch hold of Rano when Anamika is inside her, and then suddenly her hand starts increasing in length till it is very long. In a dance function, Rano starts dancing weirdly, and the next day when Anamika is not there, Rano sees the video of the dance and is shocked to see herself.
Finally Rano takes the help of Shalaka, who acts against these witches and ghosts. She uses her powers to capture a small bit of hair of Anamika and then captures Anamika inside a mirror and buries the mirror in the ground. However, this hair soon goes out of control, and then Shalaka finds that the ground has been disturbed and the mirror is broken with Anamika no longer visible. She is shocked and tells Rano that they will need to do the quest of finding her body in the lake and burn it; now that Anamika has escaped after being trapped, she will be more powerful, and this time she will be able to catch Jeet and they will not be able to prevent this unless they get rid of her body before dusk.
Rano goes to the lake and has managed to find the body, but there is a fight between her and Anamika with Anamika using the weeds to try and prevent Rano from destroying the body, with Rano trying to strike the body with a dagger that will destroy Anamika. In the end, Rano prevents Anamika from being powerful enough to take Jeet, but loses her life in the process.

Hindi TV Serials - Bhagyavidhaata - Time for a long leap, 15 years or more

Most serials in the Indian Hindi TV industry start planning for a leap when they see viewer attention flagging, and need to bring in some fresh blood and some changes to the storyline. Bhagyavidhaata, which started as a serial that showcases the challenges faced due to the situation in Bihar where eligible bachelors are kidnapped and married by force, and the problems faced in such relationships, where the bride is not accepted by the family.
The serial however, soon settled into the familiar rut of the conflicts and controversies in a family, especially when members of the family can get into a conspiring mode. So, even though the relationship between Bindiya and Vinay settled down after some period of tension and hostility, the acceptance by other members of the household was much more difficult.
And now, the serial has gone in for the next step of Hindi Serials, which is the concept of a time leap. So, the serial is set to do a 15 year time leap, with Vinay having already died in the serial (since he refused to act in the show as a middle aged man, having aged 15 years); some other characters such as Poonam will also be in the show. In addition, Raja has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, and there is a huge amount of tension since everybody blames Bindiya for the situation leading to the murder of Vinay.
Bindiya is also pregnant, so the 15 year time leap will ensure that the next round of conflict will be over this child, since the child is apparently being taken away by Vinay's brother and bhabhi, and Bindiya is fighting this.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The end of Vansh, what does this mean for the tortured relationship between Veer and Ichcha

Uttaran is going through some major upheavals. For some time now, Vansh has been very suspicious about the current state of the relationship between Veer and Ichcha, fed by the clever and cunning Tapasya. Tapasya wanted Ichcha to suffer, and so she did whatever she could do to spoil the relationship between Vansh and Ichcha, and as a result, Vansh was very cold towards Ichcha. He refused to believe her that she was now totally for Vansh, taunting her every so often, getting very angry at her, and sarcastic almost all the time. Further, it was because of him that Veer decided to quit, and go off to the United States.
However, when Vansh found out that Veer had not left for the US, but was in Delhi, he got even more suspicious. He dreamed of killing Ichcha, and also started carrying a pistol. And then he followed Ichcha, determined to catch her in the act; but by mistake, he started following Tapasya (so convenient), and was there when Tapasya had her confrontation with Sid (who accused Tapasya of framing him, and was blackmailing her so that she could leave along with him). In this confrontation, Vansh heard how Tapasya was responsible for poisoning his mind, and that there was nothing between Veer and Ichcha now. He got real emotional when he realized that Ichcha was speaking the truth, and that he was responsible for everything that was going wrong.
He decides to confront Tapasya, but his emotions were a blur, and Tapasya managed to convince him that he was more guilty than her, and that if he wanted to kill her, he should kill himself as well. This somehow struck a chord in Vansh, and eventually shot himself.

Hindi TV Serial - Bidaai - A huge change in order in Bidaai - Sadhana in a bomb blast, and Ragini falls down the stairs

This episode (the episode of 19th June 2010) was a special episode, happening on a Saturday (the serial normally does occur on weekdays, so happening on a weekend was a bit different). With this episode, Bidaai has gone through some major happenings. These are supposed to be happy times for the serial, with both Sadhana and Ragini being mothers or would be mothers. In fact, Sadhana has already given birth to a baby girl called Khushi, thus marking the first level of celebration in the family. At the same time, Sadhana keeps on getting some bad dreams and foreboding regarding Ragini, and is always apprehensive of what will happen; she has kept a fast for the same and goes to the temple for doing a prayer for this.
And now everything starts moving in high gear. When Sadhana and Alekh are in the temple, there are news reports about terrorists having been detected in the area of the city where the temple is located, something that scares and Ranvir when he sees the report on television.
And in the house, more panic happens since Ragini, heavily pregnant, and almost due, falls down the stairs and now needs emergency treatment. Vinu had arrived at the house just in time, and he takes Ranvir and Ragini along with him to the hospital for treatment, but because of the security scare ongoing, they meet multiple police roadblocks on the way to the hospital, and in fact, they are pushed back to a different route and need to take a different path. On this new route, they have an accident, and the car bangs into a tree. Now, the question is, in the promos, they show a death in the family, and they have not identified which of the 2 ladies, Sadhana or Ragini have met their death.
