Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Akash persuades his mother to forget revenge

The serial has taken a total turn from a month back. For a long time, the serial focused on getting Meethi to love Akash (presenting him as Vishnu), so that once they are married, the revenge for the death of Avinash at the hands of Ichcha, when Ichcha was protecting Veer. Even though Mukta was suspicious, and even managed to convince Rathore that there was something wrong about Vishnu, they were not able to convince Ichcha and Meethi of the same. In fact, the tables were turned on Mukta when it was portrayed that she was doing this to get some sort of revenge on Meethi. So the marriage happened and then it was supposed that Meethi and Vishnu had gone for their honeymoon. However, this was not as it appeared, since in fact they had gone back to her inlaws without letting Veer and Ichcha know. Once in Vishnu's house, the inlaws appeared nice but traditional, although in reality they were plotting against her.
Things got very serious when Ichcha suffered a serious accident and was on her death-bed, and they were unable to find Meethi. On the other hand, Surbhi, as Kanha's wife was providing them all the information that they needed, and then they made Meethi (unaware of the death of her mother) dance on the chauthi of her mother's death, all this as a part of her revenge. However, Rathore was on the hunt for detecting where Meethi and Vishnu were, and he managed to find them in a remote village in their haveli. By that time, Vishnu had been convinced by the love of Meethi and was no longer interested in killing her. Around this time, Rathore caught up with them and beat up Vishnu mercilessly, and then took away Meethi. Meethi had heard of the truth from Vishnu by then, and was totally shocked, and all her love seemed to have vanished.
However, things were not so clear. Vishnu's mother was very surprised at the about turn of her son, who was so dedicated to the revenge of his father, but over a period of time, she understood that her son had totally turned and was not willing to go on this quest of revenge any more, and she had to come to turns with this. At this time, the others in her family were totally shocked that she had given up her quest for revenge, also since there was the question of the marriage of Surbhi. Once Kanha had got to know the reasons for why Surbhi was married to him and how she was there as part of revenge, he sent a divorce petition to their house which was signed by Surbhi, but there was a taunt about why the same is not happening to the marriage of Meethi and Akash. What will happen next ? Will this marriage continue in these strange circumstances, where everybody is against him but Meethi is not so sure.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Rathore and Jogi looking for Meethi

Before the marriage, Mukta and Rathore had warned against the marriage, claiming that things were not right in the marriage. In fact, one of Mukta's friends had some evidence against Vishnu, but she died suddenly. The serial has not explored this area at all, although you would expect that the sudden death of somebody should have been explored. Anyhow the marriage happened, and Vishnu took Meethi away after marriage, and she is so almost so docile, she listened to how things started to happen to make her out of contact with her family. She gets restive from time to time, but other than that, Vishnu explains things to her, and she is fine. She lives in a huge house, and yet can believe that there are no communication capabilities in the house and in the village.
On the other side, after the death of Ichcha after an accident, there was an attempt by Jogi Thakur to find Meethi, which does not work out. She was not there in the hotel where she was supposed to be going for honeymoon, something which causes him to feel strange, as to where she is. Both Jogi and Rathore (who is pretty resourceful) are trying to locate Meethi, but this is not so easy.
On the other hand, Meethi is finding things very strange in the house. She finds a telephone in the village, but no matter what is done, she is not able to get through; and when she does get through, the connection is broken by a servant in the family behaving very strangely. She finds all this very strange, and yet is not able to do anything about it. Even protesting to Vishnu does not cause too much of a solution, and given the amount of time that she has not been in touch with her family, seems very strange.
In the family, Maiya runs the house; whenever Meethi is not there, she talks about how to plan against Meethi. And when Meethi protests against the treatment meted out to a Mamiji over there, she provokes resentment. She is attacked when in an isolated room, and calls out for Vishnu, who comes and rescues her when his Bhabhi tells him to go and help. He finds out that it was Mamaji who had attacked her, but cannot identify him because of him being part of the conspiracy. The blood trail is followed by all, and it goes to Mamiji's room, and aspersions are cast on her because of her mind not being right.
Vishnu is now slowly getting closer to Meethi, which also means that his mission of finally hurting and killing Meethi will get more complicated. In the meantime, Jogi and Rathore, while hunting for Meethi, have heard of her being in this village and have found their way here, and been told that the haveli would likely be the only place where she would be. They knock on the door of the haveli in an attempt to find her. What happens next ? Would be obvious that they would not find her, since Vishnu needs to be given time in an effort to reverse his villainous character.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The end of Ichcha in the serial, donates heart to Tapasya

For some time now, the serial has been seeing a double role for Tina Dutta, playing the role of Ichcha and Meethi in the serial, and there were a number of stories coming out that she was having trouble playing both roles; and that the serial would bring the role of Ichcha to an end. However, this was a major step for the serial, since the character of Ichcha was one of the main characters of the serial, and for her to go means that the serial has indeed moved onto the next generation; all of course part of the plan to keep on extending the serial.
Meethi of course has moved out of the area, having married to who she thinks is Vishnu, and yet to face the reality that the plan to marry her was part of a deception, part of revenge. That plan is slowly getting executed, and there is some amount of frustration that she is already facing about not being able to contact her family. She has been explained to that she now lives in a house where she is not expected to be out after dark, and hence cannot go to meet her family so easily. Further, phones apparently do not seem to work, and when she goes to a nearby telephone booth, she is prevented from making the call in a way that seems suspicious to her.
The ongoing friendship / conflict between Tapasya and Ichcha has turned into friendship after the time leap, but this is getting into a very big step. Both of them are critically injured, with Tapasya having been shot by Tej Singh, and her health affected to such a way that she needs a heart transplant in an emergency. However, heart transplants are not easy to do, and legally, what they are showing in the serial is not sure, since there are a lot of processes involved in organ transplants.
On the other hand, Ichcha was hit in an road accident, and taken to hospital where she is in a critical condition. She was brought in by a stranger (whose son she tried to save in the accident), and was in a very bad way. Her family, Veer, nobody knows where she is, and certainly do not know that such an accident has happened.
And they are both at the same accident, and when Ichcha, in her badly injured state, finds that Tappu needs a replacement heart, she volunteers to donate her heart, especially since she is at her own deathbed. And this is what happens; now the serial will show how her family will learn that the person who donated the heart was actually Ichcha, which will be a big shock.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Meethi finally gets married even though Mukta warns

It is only Uttaran kind of serial which can show such stuff. In other serials and in Hindi movies, when such a situation is happening where the heroine is about to get married to the bad guy, somebody or the other gets involved and ensures that the truth is out and the marriage is stopped (even when there is no hero actually involved). However, in this case, the serial shows that Mukta has learned the truth about Vishnu, who he actually is, since she has been suspecting this for a long time (in fact, another college girl who was suspecting the truth was found dead and Mukta actually went through her room in order to find out more details about what she knew about Vishnu).
However, Akash, who was playing Vishnu, found that Mukta had got to know everything about him, and got her kidnapped. However, he had not counted on the fact that Mukta's father was Rathore, somebody who was very resourceful and a hard man, capable of doing anything. Once Rathore had detected that Mukta was missing, he tried to get her on the phone and asked the police to get involved. The kidnappers had not switched off Mukta's phone initially and because of this, the phone details showed the address where Mukta was being held.
Rathore asked the police to come there, and went there himself ahead. He made his way inside, threatened everybody with a grenade, and after some fighting, managed to take Mukta out of there. Mukta was very worried that she would not be able to make it in time to stop the wedding, since she was still thinking of Meethis's happiness. They did reach there, but found people unwilling to listen to them. Because of previous efforts by Mukta, Meethi was very suspicious of her intentions, and suspected that Mukta had other intentions. Mukta even asked Vishnu to show a birth mark, which after a lot of drama, proved that Vishnu was right.
Finally the marriage happened, and Meethi is now getting into trouble, since she refused to listen to what Mukta was warning her. She will now enter into a different kind of family, one with political power.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya helps Veer get back his memory, and get Ichcha

Looks like the actress (Rashmi Desai) playing the role of Tapasya in the serial came back to the serial with an intention of ensuring that she would no longer play a negative role. Before the time leap, Rashmi had vanished from the serial, but at a stage where she had been thoroughly dis-credited by everyone in the serial, having been brought up under the highly negative influence of Nani, with her parents unable to prevent her morals and character from turning negative. The most positive influence on her life was her husband Rathod who prevented the negative influence of Nani and ensured that Tapasya would try to turn over a new leaf and become positive.
But after the time leap, Tapasya has been shown as a positive character, who came back into the serial to help Ichcha get back Veer. Ever since Veer was attacked by Avinash, and Ichcha killed him to prevent him from murdering Veer (and went to jail for that). However, during that attack, Veer suffered blows which caused him a memory loss, and he forgot his marriage and Ichcha. His mother, Gunwanti, who was never happy with the presence of Ichcha since she considered Ichcha as a low class girl (the daughter of a servant, as opposed to Tapasya, who was the daughter of a rich man) decided that his forgetting Ichcha was a good thing.
Gunwanti got Veer married off to a girl who would not cause any trouble, but what to do about the memory ? The memory loss in such attacks could come back, and hence she had to ensure that he never got back his memory; so she went to a doctor and got medicines that ensured that the memory would not come back. These were medicines that cost a lot, but needed to be taken regularly to ensure that the memory would not come back.
When Tapasya came into the house, she wanted to ensure that Ichcha got her rights back, and decided to investigate. Eventually, she managed to detect that Gunwanti was giving some medicines to Veer and replaced those medicines with sugar powder, and Gunwanti did not suspect anything. However, Veer got his memory back, and along with that, there was other evidence to expose the scheming of Gunwanti, and then Veer told her that he considers that his mother is dead and that he will get his Ichcha back. This is the second time that Gunwanti has been caught doing something, just shows that if you are caught by somebody doing something for the second time, then only you are to blame.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya back, trying to make things right

The serial has had multiple time leaps so far; in the past there was a time leap of 10 years where both Tapasya and Ichcha got older, and had much more complications in their life. Ichcha was seen as the good and honest one, but inherently stupid (my view) while Tapasya was seen as the more selfish one, and in this selfish nature, she could go to any extent and do acts that are termed as evil. In all this, she was supported by Nani, who fed all her desires and made her more selfish and amoral. By the time of the next leap, Ichcha had murdered Avinash, who was threatening Veer at that time, and was sentenced to prison. In this duration, Veer, who had a memory loss, was re-married by his mother (who had a distaste for Ichcha) and who brought up Ichcha and Veer's son to be extremely selfish and arrogant.
In this next time, for a period of 18 years, Tapasya was away from the serial, as was Rathore. Further, Ichcha was out of prison at the end of this period, and the set of children were all adult now, Meethi, Mukta and Yuvraj. Things are a bit complex in their interactions, especially since Jogi Thakur is now poor, while Damini is now rich. There are more complications in this story, with Yuvraj finally being sent to prison on a rape charge, where testimony is being provided by his own mother Ichcha.
Meethi was against her own mother for quite some time, but now things are more reconciled. She is also in love with Vishnu, from their past, but things are not quite what they seem to be. Mukta, who has started believing in the goodness of Ichcha, sees that there is something suspicious about Vishnu, but is still to gather all the information that is necessary to change things. In between, is the story of Mukta and Tej Singh (another evil character), where Tej Singh wanted to marry Mukta, but Tapasya (entering the serial again) takes the place of Mukta and gets married to Tej Singh. She wants to reconcile Veer and Ichcha, something opposed by Gunwanti, who is feeding a medicine to Veer to ensure that he does not remember his past, but he has started remembering a few things, and in between remembered Veer fully.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The time leap happens, 18 years in the future

As happens in many serials when they want to prolong the story, they do a time leap, since that gives them the feeling that this will lead to a refreshing of user interest, introduce new characters, and so on. However, so many serials have done this by now that people are bored, or they lose connectivity with the revamped serial and do not follow it again. One prime example of this one is 'Na Aana Iss Des Mein Ladoo' where after the time leap, I lost the threads of the serial and no longer found it interesting.
One wonders what will happen in Uttaran ? They have already got rid of some of the main characters, with the absence of Veer, Tapasya, and Rathod (in fact, Rathod was a very interesting character in the serial, very different from the others who seem very superficial, and his presence had livened up the whole serial). Anyhow, onto the current story.
So, after Avinash attacks Veer, Ichcha is very angry and kills Avinash in a frenzy. Nani is passing by (always such coincidences) and calls up the police from there who come and arrest Ichcha. And since Veer is in a condition in hospital where due to his injuries, he is not able to remember a lot of his life, he cannot recall what happened between Ichcha, Veer and Avinash and is not able to give this testimony in court (and it seems very strange that the court does not take into the account the history between them, Avinash's previous attempts, and so on) and as a result, Ichcha is sentenced to a life term (which is also strange, since this should have been a much reduced terms).
Anyhow, Ichcha hands the responsibility of her daughter Meethi and Kanha to Ammo and tells her that Meethi should not be told about Ichcha, and now 18 years later, Meethi has grown up to be a very irritating character in college, and lives with Kanha and Ammo.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - About to take a leap, Veer to die

The serial has decided to take a huge leap, and is slowly getting rid of some of its key characters. First Tapasya decided to leave the serial, and they decided to show this by making her escape from the house because of all the pressure that she was facing, and left uncertain whether she will ever come back. And now, Veer (the real life husband of Tapasya) is also going to be leaving the serial, going to be killed in a Holi party by Avinash (one wonders as to how people who are caught by the police can suddenly re-appear so suddenly, while normal people who are accused of such crimes would be locked away for years).
In the serial, for probably the first time, Nani is getting her just punishment. She had taken away Yuvraj from the hospital and left the family members to believe that their child had died; and Iccha and Veer believed this for a long time till they got to know the truth when Yuvraj was kidnapped by Avinash since he wanted Kanha back. After some amount of drama and the involvement of the police, Avinash was caught and both Yuvraj and Kanha was caught back.
In the meantime, Divya is totally gone ballistic; she refuses to believe anything that Iccha or Damini, or even her husband Jogi Thakur has to say, and supports Nani and Pushkar in whatever they have to say. So when there is a reason to believe that Iccha can be caught for having Mukta with her, even though this was Tapu's daughter who was stolen from her (somewhat because of her own mistake), they get the police and take her to jail. At that time, Veer gets involved and along with Jogi Thakur, decide to pay back Nani for her crimes. They get the video which shows Nani stealing Yuvraj, and this ensures the police take Nani to jail, and she has to stay there for some time.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Iccha put into a huge conflict because of having to choose between her children

These hindi serials play on one item to depict tension between husbands and wife. The wife does something noble or pays a huge price for something, but does not keep her husband informed of whatever has happened, and as a result, when there is a problem or the husband is not appreciative, or is offended that she has not told him about everything, she gets very surprised. Something similar is happening in Uttaran. Iccha is married to Veer, and there has already been a case when Veer has told Iccha that she should not hide things from her that are significant, and yet, it happens again.
So, the situation is serious this time. Avinash, the guy who believes that his birthright was stolen from his because of Iccha and all the money willed over to Kanha, wants revenge, and wants all his assets back. So, he kidnaps Yuvraj since he knows that it is Iccha's child, and he wants to use this pressure to force Iccha to hand Kanha over to Avinash. Rathod is very emotional about his kid disappearing, and is working with the police to find Yuvraj, but so far no luck. When Iccha and Rathod are talking about this, Veer appears and is very angry with Iccha that she has not told him anything so far (not about their child being alive, about being kidnapped, and so on - one things that he is very justified in his anger).
Next, the situation is now at the house. Dadaji and Mai feel that there is no question, after all, Yuvraj is their blood, he is Veer's son and hence they can easily sacrifice Kanha for this purpose; Iccha on the other hand is not so comfortable with this, since she considers Kanha to be her own child, and hence is ready for any such deal, and so far, Veer is not supporting her since she hid everything from him.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Lots of developments, Tapasya gone, Vansh killed by Jogi

The serial has seen a lot of developments. For some time now, there was a news that the actress playing the role of Tapasya (Rashmi Desai) wanted to leave the serial, and there was a lot of anticipation about when that would happen. Well, it finally happened. The serial showed that there was a lot of tension that Tapasya had when her old boyfriend Sid turned up, as the younger relation of Tapasya. And Rathod finally had a shock when Tapasya decides to leave, and sends him a note that she will not return, she tried to be good and all, but her past life will not let her be. He hunts for her all over, but is not able to trace her, and it seems like that is the end of Tapasya for the serial, except if there is a change in mind and she decides to come back.
The more major stuff that happened in the serial was the end of the fake Vansh. It was clear that viewers did not appreciate the concept of the fake Vansh, and hence the makers of the serial decided to quickly end the fake Vansh concept fairly quickly. So the episode where Vansh is angry over comments that Iccha has made, and when he sees an opportune occasion, he tries to catch her and rape her. She resists, but it is the sudden presence of Jogi Thakur that ends up saving Iccha, and in the ongoing tussle, Vansh hits his head on the side of the glass table, and dies. So Iccha is saved, but Jogi Thakur is taken away by the police for the murder of Vansh.
And then, the conspiracy is made clear, with Veer showing to the family how Mai was the one involved, and then the family is horrified at what has happened, with everybody blaming Mai for what has happened, and then deciding that she cannot stay in the house anymore. However, Ichcha prevails upon Veer to get Mai back.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Unable to disprove that Vansh is fake

Things are getting tricky for Veer and Ichcha. The fake Vansh has the confidence of Mai, who, initially shocked after seeing her dead son, treats him as the real guy even after everybody else refuses to believe him (how can they, since they have seen the real Vansh dead and even cremated him after he died due to the gun shot). All the attempts by Veer do not work, and they show the fake Vansh getting more confident, and demanding that Veer stop whatever he is doing, and that Ichcha is his wife.
Ichcha is very troubled by this, since she was always in love with Veer, and cannot think of again changing her husbands and going back to Vansh (she had also seen Vansh die, and anyhow, who would think of such a thing as changing her husbands when the previously dead husband came back to life).
And then Veer finds out that Vansh is actually a guy called Rocky, with a girlfriend called Ruby. He believes that he has found a way to get rid of the fake Vansh and to prove his falsehood after this news of Ruby. So he talks to Mai, and tells her that he will show the truth of the return of Vansh, while Mai says that if Veer is unable to prove the truth, Veer will have to give the rights of Vansh back to him, which in this case means that Ichcha will have to go back to being the wife of Vansh rather than Veer (seemed extremely strange).
However, when Ruby is brought to the house, she totally denies knowing Vansh / Rocky, and claims that Veer forcibly brought her to the house asking her to make such statements, and that she actually does not know anything.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Trouble between Nani / Tapasya and Iccha, more plotting

Nani has been portrayed to be one of the most villain like characters on the serial. She has a set of beliefs, a lot of them based on the difference between rich and poor people, and she projects them onto Tapasya a lot. Over a period of time, these have actually caused the problems and complexes suffered by Tapasya to become so enhanced that Tappu has some to a lot of problems; and even though all the people around her know about these problems, she believes that she has been more sinned against rather than causing a lot of problems herself.
The other problem is that Iccha does a lot of stuff that can be thought of as stupid; her actions cause her problems a lot, and it is only because people have recognized that she is not cunning or shrewd that she manages to get out of the problems into which she has entered. The latest problem is where Nani and Tappu plan to disrupt the relationship between Veer and Ichcha, using the excuse of Ichcha breast-feeding Tapu's child (which is actually Ichcha's supposedly dead child).
So, since Nani and Tapu have found out that Rathod is getting Ichcha to feed Yuvraj, they want to take revenge on Ichcha (with a lot of jealousy, not bothered by the fact that because of Ichcha, Yuvraj is getting something to eat and is as a result, more healthy). They decide that it would be best to snare Ichcha in a position where Veer would think that there is something shady, and this would cause tension in Ichcha's life. So, they plot that one a day, Tapu would remain at home, and as a result, Rathod would have to call Ichcha to a hotel room, where they would get Veer to come there and see both Ichcha and Rathod in a room (and also get the police to come there).
A scandal does not happen, since the police are controlled, but Veer does see both of them and is very angry when he hears the story, since he expects that Ichcha should have told him about all this instead of proceeding. Ichcha is upset at upsetting Veer, and Rathod wants to find out how the police came to know.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Ichcha keeps on getting insulted, and keeps on taking it

Sometimes they should show good things also happening. What they have shown in the case of Ichcha is a dumb girl who takes shit from everyone and still does not retaliate. Even in the Gita, it says that you should not tolerate evil, and yet so many times in the past, when they have shown behavior from different people to Ichcha, she takes it all and does not even set the right perspective. This is not the right attitude to show or to set a right belief to your children; and now that Ichcha is playing mother to 2 children, she will make her children such that they will tolerate all wrong-doing and not set things right.
So, Ichcha is facing problems everywhere. First, on the happy occasion when she is about to become a mother and give birth to a child, Nani manages to bribe the nurse, show a dead child and take away Ichcha's and Veer's child (and she is easily able to do this, while you would think that such a thing would be pretty difficult). Next, Ichcha and Veer make a foolhardy decision that they will not try to have children of their, since they already have 2 kids (without considering about the opinions of others in the family, especially the elders). She runs into Mai, who considers this a very stupid idea, and maybe she is right. One wonders about how thought through the whole decision was.
Next, Ichcha has decided not to go to Tapu's and Rathod's house for their function, and yet Nani manages to take her there (when one would think that Nani should be the last person to whom Ichcha should be listening to). Over there, Ichcha hears the kid crying, and goes there, and when Tapu finds her there, the behaviour of Ichcha is so suspicious that anyone would start doubting her intentions. Nani of course is in full flow.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The news that Tapu cannot become a mother again

The serial keeps on showing a lot of twists and turns. At some point, the serial showed how Jogi Thakur was very angry with Tapasya (and no doubt, given all that she had done based on her impulsiveness and selfish nature), and had broken off relations. Even her mother felt very bad for what all she had done, but both of them finally decided to forgive her and so Tapasya comes back to the house to visit them, and they make up. Similarly, they both know that Nani was the one who was primarily responsible for the mis-education of Tapu, and Nani and Divya part on bitter terms, but then Jogi admonishes Divya for having turned Nani out and so Nani is back in the house. It comes a bit embarrassing when Rathod and Tapu come there, and so does Mai (Veer's mother) and they run into each other.
However, Rathod rescues the situation by asking for blessings from Mai, and prods Mai to give blessings to Tapu as well, and also encourages Tapu to take blessings from Mai. Mai does so in a manner which shows that she is doing so reluctantly (after all, how can she forgive what Tapu did) and she departs from there, also without talking to Nani (just folding hands).
On the other hand, there is some bad news for Tapu, since Nani has seen Tapu's medical reports and tells Divya that Tapu cannot become a mother again (and like most serials, this is said in the open without checking whether Tapu is there), Tapu hears and is heartbroken.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - The coming together of Veer and Ichcha again at the airport

For some time now, the serial has been showing a separation between Veer and Ichcha; Veer has got very despondent about whatever has happened and feels that he has totally failed Ichcha, and when his attempts to meet or find out about Ichcha do not work, he decides that he has to leave for the United States to leave everything behind. His assistant also tries to persuade him to stay, but he has decided and takes leave of everyone from the house. Further, when Damini tried to call him earlier to inform him about Ichcha's pregnancy, she got the impression that Veer did not really seem interested, and then decides that they should not try to contact him again.
On the other hand, Jogi has also been looking for them, and finally sees Ichcha at the doctor's house where she has gone for some consultation regarding her pregnancy. Jogi meets Ichcha, is very excited to know that she is pregnant, and tells her that Veer has met Jogi often, always apologizing for having let Ichcha down, and is now going to leave for the US (leaving everything behind). Ichcha is shocked to learn about this and rushes to the airport with Jogi and Ammu, and in a scene from the movies, they finally call out for each other and meet at the airport (and decide that they want to be together again). Veer decides that he will take Ichcha back to the house.
On the other hand, Nani wants to try her tactics in Rathod's house, but one is not sure whether all that will work or not, since Rathod is different from Jogi.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya just about to get married, goes out for some time to meet and scold Veer

Finally the day of Tapasya and Rathod's marriage is oncoming. Rathod has been shown to be very firm, and also loves Tapasya a lot. So, whenever Tappu makes a mistake, he admonishes her firmly (but without getting hyper) and advising about her about what needs to be done. So, when she misbehaves in the house, he tells her off about what will be tolerated and what will not be. Further, he does the right thing by telling her that she needs to be confident that she is right in marrying Rathod, not out of revenge or anger at Veer. Tapasya is trying to be confident that she likes the love of Rathod, and she no longer has an attachment for Veer ever since Veer asked her to leave the house and she also lost her daughter.
For the marriage, Jogi Thakur has refused to go, and also cut off all relations with his own daughter, but his wife wants to go. At the marriage, she also comes in contact with Nani and they have a small drama about how Nani has caused the problems in their life by the wrong beliefs that she inculcated in Tapasya.
At the same time, Tappu shocks Nani by stating that she will need to go out very briefly, and that nani will need to cover for her in that time period; Nani is shocked, after all, who leaves the house just before their marriage, but as usual, Tappu does not listen to her. Uttaran is going through a lot of drama, with all the characters having drama positions. Tapasya has left Veer's home (rather, Veer asked her to leave after he found that Ichcha was telling the truth about the father of Tapasya's baby). But, he was also in shock due to all that has been done to Ichcha, and is unable to locate her (which makes him feel that Ichcha has now left him, and he blames himself for not supporting her like he should have).
Tapasya goes off with Rathod, but not before dropping her baby at an orphanage for an hour or so (and she gives the baby to somebody at the doorstep of the orphanage, who turns out to be a thief. Since she has so stupidly handed over the child to the thief, as soon as she leaves, the thief leaves from there and takes the child but then abandons the child. Tapasya goes to Rathod, and is finally agreeable to marry him, since she feels that this will bring some stability to her life. However, when she tries to find the baby back (who she had so stupidly lost), she learns that the baby is not be found. Rathod is now in the quest to find the baby (it is his child after all), but things are not so simple. However, whenever Tappu tries to play dominant in some way, Rathod does cut her down to size very easily (sometimes reminding her about trying to follow the polite norms of life and at other times reminding her that it was her stupid decision to leave the baby at the orphanage).
And in a matter of coincidence, it is Ichcha and her mom who find the baby abandoned, and are then convinced by a guy standing there to take the baby and head off to a home where he claims that Ichcha will help an old man. Soon, Ichcha discovers that not everything is as it seems, and tries to get the truth out.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Veer gets to know the truth about the baby, and is very upset

A few episodes back, the confrontation between Ichcha and Tapasya had taken such a turn and the increased presence of Mr. Rathore had caused a lot of turmoil. In this turmoil, Ichcha go to know the truth that the father of Tapasya's child was Mr. Rathore, and not Veer as he claimed (although, it always surprises me that Veer was always so unfriendly towards Tapasya, how did he get into an intimate situation with Tapasya).
Anyhow, Ichcha claims before the family that the secret is that the child is Mr. Rathore's, and this causes a commotion in the family. Nani truly does not know Tapasya's secret and thinks this is another ruse by Ichcha to cause problems for Tapasya. At the same time, Gunwanti also wants the child and cannot understand this new situation. At that time, Veer decides to undergo a fertility check to prove Ichcha's point, which however (because of the medicines that Ichcha was feeding Veer) shows that Veer was capable of having a child. Ichcha leaves the house when Veer confronts her and tells her that he thinks that she is jealous of Tapasya and is making things up.
She writes a letter that since it seems Veer no longer believes her, it would be best if she left the house, and it would be for good since that would mean that Tapasya's child would get a father. Veer is upset but still does not believe the truth.
And then Mr. Rathore turns up, wanting the baby and claiming it. By this time, Veer has enough doubts that he agrees for the DNA test, but Nani decides against it and says that she will take away Tapasya and the baby rather than be subject to such humiliation. Rathore goes away at that point, but makes it clear that he will take all necessary steps to get hold of his child.
And then, at the hospital, Veer gets to know the truth, since a simple comment by the doctor based on the blood group reveals that Veer cannot be the father. He is now hunting for Ichcha, who has decided to leave.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Huge misunderstanding between Veer and Ichcha, she is all set to leave the house

The serial is finally coming to another decision point, and a twist in the story. The differences between Ichcha and Tapasya were increasing, especially when Tapasya made the statement to Ichcha that they should share the love of Veer, and Ichcha got so angry that she slapped Tapasya. Veer saw this and wanted to know what was the reason, but Ichcha did not tell him the reason. All the time, the pregnancy of Tapasya was increasing, and she was getting inundated with messages that she is in for a bad life, with no father to show for her child; After all, it was Ichcha who was the wife of Veer. Her Nani was on this case all the time.
On the other side, at her home, her mother was being slowly made more jealous of Ichcha's mother, how Damini was after all a servant and how she was slowly usurping the powers that Tapasya's mother should have; with the ultimate aim of getting her so angry that she decides to kick Damini out, which is what eventually happens. Damini realizes that her mistress is so angry and so much venom has been imparted in her that she decides to leave the house.
The major twist is in what happens at Veer house. After the incident with Rathore, Ichcha gets to know the truth about who is the actual father of Tapasya's children, and she finally reveals the truth. Tapasya and her Nani totally deny this, claiming that Ichcha wants to put aspersions on her character; when Ichcha reveals that Veer was sterile, incapable of bearing a child, Veer cannot believe it and gets a test done. The test reveals that all the pills that Ichcha was feeding him worked, and that Veer was fully capable. At this, Veer tells Ichcha that she has totally changed, has become very jealous, and is no longer his old Ichcha. Ichcha sees the hate in his eyes and decides to leave the house.
In the meantime, Tapasya is taken to the hospital and has a girl child, while Ichcha will also be pregnant with Veer's child.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya send back Rathod, refuses to marry him and threatens to harm herself

The story is becoming even more complicated. Veer is in jail, due to the act of revenge by Satya - Saanchi, where they implicate Veer in a rape case by drugging him, and then getting him in an incriminating position. He is accused of the rape of Saanchi, since he is found in the same room as Saanchi, where she appears shocked and with her clothes torn. He protests to some extent, but since he is drugged, it is of no use - further the lady inspector who comes sees this as a case where a rich man has committed an offence against a harmless girl, and is determined to ensure that he suffers for this. The inspector also beats up Veer to some degree and locks him up in the police station for interrogation.
The family is shocked, they try and ask Satya to forgive them, and not to punish their son for their mistakes - but he mocks them and refuses to do anything. After all, he has suffered for so long, his mother died in shock and his sister had to suffer for so many years.
Tapasya feels that Rathod can save Veer, since Rathod can testify that Satya and Saanchi are not blameless. He is totally fine, and wants to marry her and starts the whole process. The rest of Tappu's family have no idea about all this, and they get the shock of their lives when Rathod comes with a band to actually marry Tapu. He comes in front of the house, where they ask him to come inside so that they can avoid the tamasha; but inside the house, Tapu refuses to come down and meet Rathod. Instead, she tells him that she will kill herself and so their child will also be dead with her until Rathod goes away. Further, she will come to him, but not now. Unfortunately for her, Ichcha hears of all this and tells Tapasya to tell the truth to everybody and not hide things.
Now, Tapu is telling her side of the story to the family, and trying to explain what happened, and more important, who Rathod actually is.
