Hindi TV Serial - Balika Vadhu - Jagya manages to rescue Anandi from the problem that she had got into

Anandi was in deep trouble. Some time back, she met a young guy called Shravan (with the attempt to show to the viewers of the serial that this was a possible love affair for her); but the intention was different. She was kidnapped by a guy called Heth Singh who wanted to take revenge for an insult to him, and Shravan was part of this kidnapping.
Part of the planning of the kidnapping was to show Anandi in a bad light, saying that since she was young, her husband had left her, she was feeling lonely and hence had decided to elope with Shravan. This will totally reduce the image of Anandi in everybody's mind. To increase this effect, soon after Anandi goes missing, Shravan's parents land up in the house moaning for their son who is missing; and later pretend that they have found out that Anandi has also gone missing, and start blaming Anandi for having mislead their honest son and run away with him. Other also hear this, and the news also reaches Gauri, who in her quest to put down Anandi tells Jagya that his former wife has run away, this is her character.
Jagya cannot believe this, and says that he will find Anandi. And you know that this will happen, so he is able to eventually locate where Anandi is located, sneak into the room where she was imprisoned (where she is somewhat in shock over one of the goons trying to molest her when she was tied up and helpless), and then run away when all the bad men are drunk, taking their own bike. He manages to eventually get Anandi back to the house after truck and bus ride, away from the goons, but the question will not go away; there will be a showdown over whether Anandi had run away (which a number of people in the village believe).

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani - Piya with a doctor, trying to get her memories back

The situation is very complex. Neil has been killed, and Abhay now knows that Chand and Haseena have killed him. When he confronts them, they tell him that he did not stop them from killing Neel, only from killing Dipannita. There is a confrontation between them where both of them tell him that they do not really trust him to take the right decision for the vampires, and when he states that he wants to give up being the leader of the clan, they are fine with that decision and tell him that this is the right decision (since he cannot think properly, being always concerned about Piya).
Arnav had seen the body of Neel, and seen bite marks on the neck, and after consulting books and all, realizes that these are vampire bite marks, and that this means that vampires are indeed there in the Dehra Doon area. He tells Jay that the vampires were behind the death of Neel, and that the police should be informed. Jay thinks about this, but then thinks that maybe this will cause the police to chase Abhay, and this is what he wants, and so the police come to Abhay. Abhay turns them out, accusing them of not having done any investigation on their own, and only when they have some proof should they come.
Piya has gone to meet a doctor in order to try and get some of her memory back, and slowly gets taken back to the time when she met Abhay, and then recalls the episode where she met Mythili, and Mythili was threatening her and Abhay and this causes her to become almost in a fit like condition. Abhay realizes this and rushes towards her, and by then the doctor has realized that she has committed a mistake. Now Abhay thinks of giving back her memory.

Hindi TV Serial - Geet - Drama in the house, Mann forgets his memory, and Nayantara upto all sorts of trouble

Geet is going through a lot of drama in the serial, both outside and inside the serial. So, outside the serial, there was a lot of drama about whether the serial will end in October, or whether the serial will continue in a twist where both Mann and Geet with die and then be reincarnated. Well, that seems to be over now, with the serial coming to an end in October (the serial seems to be taking a different sort of branding in the future).
Inside the serial, the serial has a lot of drama. In the clash with Dev's mother, Mann was hit hard on the head, because of which he lost his memory for around 1 year, and as a result, he forgot Geet, as well as whatever Nayantara had done. So, Geet is in the house, but is introduced as somebody else who would be helping him.
Now that Mann is back, he soon gets irritated with Geet, especially since he cannot understand why Geet is everywhere; and then learns that Geet is his wife. This causes him a shock, but does not lessen his level of irritation. This keeps on happening, till the time that he actually accuses her of behaving very improperly in terms of business; and soon after, learns that actually things were not so; Geet was the one who actually helped in ensuring that important clients were looked after.
Nayanatara is also out of her coma, and back to her wrong ways; she also does not really like the idea of Nandini being there in Dev's life and eventually kidnaps Nandini, and tells Geet that Geet needs to gets Mann's signature on everything, else a lot of harm will come to Nandini. The stage is set of a massive confrontation.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani - Fight between Abhay and Dipannita after Dipannita attacks Haseena

There is a huge amount of rivalry between the Khuranas and the Raichands, which is also because they are two of the most prominent families in Dehra Dun, but this is actually more so because of their true nature. Dipannita and family are werewolves, humans who can turn into wolves (more so when the moon is high), while the Raichands are vampires, who are dead humans who are immortal and very powerful. They realize the true nature of each other, and hence are very apprehensive about each other; more so because Abhay had killed the head of the werewolf family in his battle with Siddharth.
All this is very confusing for people who are not in the secret, since there is so much tension going around, and so much paranormal activity ongoing that people are not sure about what is happening. So, Abhay is a Raichand, while Neel and Jeh are Khuranas. They are all in the same area, and intricately connected to the Dobriyal sisters. Piya was in love with Abhay, until Abhay made her forget everything which had happened for 1 year, and she has only glimpses of these memories. Panchi is engaged to Neel, but has fallen in love with Abhay (although he is not in love with her, since Piya is his one and only love).
Now, at a dinner in the Dobriyal house, there is tension between these 2 households, and when Haseena makes the error of coming out of her house without protection, Dipannita sees a chance to attack and finish this enmity once and for all. Chaand is also weak and is not able to fight as well as he would like. It is then that Abhay comes into the scene and kills Dipannita by sticking a piece of wood into her. Piya calls Jeh, who turns into a werewolf, but when Piya calls the police, they cannot find Dipannita, and Jeh denies that anything happened to her. Piya as usual cannot understand what is happening around her.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani - Chaand in grave danger after being mauled by werewolves

For a year, Abhay and the Raichands were away from the area after the events involving Siddharth. Abhay was in deep freeze, but finally Piya managed to get him away from there and back into the land of the living. Further, the memory loss that Abhay gave to Piya has been causing Piya a lot of problems. She has forgotten the past 1 year of her life, but slowly Abhay is coming back into her life, causing problems for everybody else involved.
The major issue driving Abhay is that there are 2 issues in the whole story. One is that he needs to protect Piya no matter what, while at the same time ensuring that she does not get involved with him again. Further, there is the conflict with the werewolves, whereby the wolves had got to know that Abhay was back and were out to get all the Raichands.
In addition, there is the competition between Dipanita (who is the new powerful rich person within Dehra Dun) and the Raichands, who are one of the powerful families in DehraDun. And it turns out that Dipannita is not who she claims to be, since the real Dipanita died some time back. For this, Haseena has been using Danish as her investigator, which ends when Danish is found out on CCTV inside Dipannita's office and is warned off by the police. Further, Danish is attacked pretty severely.
But before all this, Chand is caught outside by the werewolves and is badly injured, going into a coma like stance for which the apparent solution is only if he is administered the blood of a werewolf, and this needs to be done within 7 days or he will die. Abhay decides to hunt the werewolf and so goes back to the college, to the surprise of all.

Hindi TV Serial - Geet - The property is taken away from Mann, the culprit being Dev's mother

After the entire drama with Geet's biji where finally Mann, Dev and Geet convince Biji that Mann is on the right side, and that the person coming to marry Nandini, Daman, was not a right character; things are back to normal. However, the next threat turns tricky since the promos started showing that Mann seems to have lost his whole property and his business. When Mann gets back to the city, he finds the police blocking the entry to his house and business, and he gets very angry. Before this itself, he found that the ATM cards were blocked, phones had run out of airtime, and Adi was not picking up the calls. He reaches home, and finds the police there as well, claiming that there were court orders because of which Mann could not enter his property, and it is only Geet who calms him down. And then Adi reaches and tells that Dadima is in great danger, and is in the hospital in a bad condition.
It is at the hospital that Mann finds out who is behind all this; it is the mother of Dev, Pammi. She tells Mann that she did all this because the family had always treated her like dirt, and had also treated Dev badly, and this was her revenge.
However, when Dev finds out this (and he does not find out for some time, with Adi finally telling him all the details), he gets very angry and confronts Pammi, where she appears apologetic, telling Dev that she will give everything back to Mann; she just wanted the happiness of Dev. However, this was all an act, she had no desire to give anything back, and in fact, she was very dangerous. In the meantime, Geet, followed by Mann, have left the city.
Soon, Dev, Lucky, Adi, and Nandini find out that Dadima was not really in a coma, was instead being kept sedated by a doctor being paid off by Pammi, and get the police to come in and sort out matters. Now, they all know what Pammi is upto, but by that time, Mann is in the custody of Pammi.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Tapasya send back Rathod, refuses to marry him and threatens to harm herself

The story is becoming even more complicated. Veer is in jail, due to the act of revenge by Satya - Saanchi, where they implicate Veer in a rape case by drugging him, and then getting him in an incriminating position. He is accused of the rape of Saanchi, since he is found in the same room as Saanchi, where she appears shocked and with her clothes torn. He protests to some extent, but since he is drugged, it is of no use - further the lady inspector who comes sees this as a case where a rich man has committed an offence against a harmless girl, and is determined to ensure that he suffers for this. The inspector also beats up Veer to some degree and locks him up in the police station for interrogation.
The family is shocked, they try and ask Satya to forgive them, and not to punish their son for their mistakes - but he mocks them and refuses to do anything. After all, he has suffered for so long, his mother died in shock and his sister had to suffer for so many years.
Tapasya feels that Rathod can save Veer, since Rathod can testify that Satya and Saanchi are not blameless. He is totally fine, and wants to marry her and starts the whole process. The rest of Tappu's family have no idea about all this, and they get the shock of their lives when Rathod comes with a band to actually marry Tapu. He comes in front of the house, where they ask him to come inside so that they can avoid the tamasha; but inside the house, Tapu refuses to come down and meet Rathod. Instead, she tells him that she will kill herself and so their child will also be dead with her until Rathod goes away. Further, she will come to him, but not now. Unfortunately for her, Ichcha hears of all this and tells Tapasya to tell the truth to everybody and not hide things.
Now, Tapu is telling her side of the story to the family, and trying to explain what happened, and more important, who Rathod actually is.

Hindi TV Serial - Pratigya - Pratigya finally out of the Thakur house due to Amma

A few episodes back, Amma had threatened Pratigya that she would finally end the reign of Pratigya in the house and ensure that Krishna, her protector, would kick her out of the house and out of his own life. Towards this end, she starts trying to create differences between Pratigya and Krishna, primarily related to the business that Krishna had started. Ironically, it shows the stupidity of both Krishna and Pratigya. Pratigya was not able to take the required steps to get Krishna back on her side even though Amma warned her every day that the countdown was ongoing and she would soon be out of the house. Krishna was eventually ready to believe that Pratigya was trying to harm his Amma and was also jealous of his business even though Pratigya was the one who was encouraging him to do something meaningful and take up a honest business.
Amma showcased how Pratigya used to fight with her over a number of issues, how she used the money that was meant for the wages of workers at Krishna's dhaba to buy a new necklace and did not let Krishna talk to Pratigya over this, since that would have revealed the truth. The final twist in the story was when Amma got everybody to believe that Pratigya was trying to destroy Amma by burning her and actually set herself on fire for this purpose.
Sajjan Singh had planned a puja with Ganga water, and Amma managed to make everybody believe that Pratigya was the one who had the intention to change the water in a pot with kerosene so that Amma would burn when she lit the lamp. Krishna finally believed her and as a result, finally told Pratigya that he no longer wished for her to be around and wanted her out of his house and life, and finally Pratigya accepted this and moved back to her parents house; in the meantime, Adarsh and Komal are totally now against her, since Adarsh believes that only his inlaws are actually with him.

Hindi TV Serial - Uttaran - Veer in deep trouble, arrested for charges of rape and assault of Saanchi

All the efforts of Ichcha and Tapu to save Veer from the machinations of Satya and Saanchi have failed for now. Both Ichcha and Tapu had found out about the fact that Satya and Saanchi wanted to trick Veer, and Ichcha tried warning Veer. However, Veer refused to believe that anything was wrong, and started getting angry with Ichcha. In the past as well, Ichcha had arrived suddenly, which saved Veer on a couple of occasions, since that prevented Satya from carrying out his plans. Both Ichcha and Tapu had seen Saachi being able to see, while what was projected was that she was blind, and hence unable to see.
The finale for this came when Veer had gone to meet Satya, and Ichcha landed up there suddenly and prevented Veer from drinking something into which Saanchi had mixed something; Veer did not believe that there was anything wrong - he only believed it when Ichcha started feeling the effect of whatever was mixed; and that is when Veer started believing that Satya was against him. Both Satya and Saanchi fled at that point of time, although Veer blocked their accounts.
However, Satya was still confident that his plans will come to a completion, and hence decided to go ahead with his plans - this plan was to get Veer implicated in a plan in which he would land up in severe problem. So, Saanchi was the main instrument in this plan, which happened when Veer came to a hotel and entered a room because he thought that the girl in the room was Ichcha. By the time he had already drunk something that made him almost unconscious, and then Saanchi tore her clothes and started crying, stating that Veer forced himself on her.
In the meantime, Ichcha and others were frantic since they could not find Veer, and they finally found Veer when it was reported that he had tried to rape Saanchi and was arrested by the police, in full media glare.

Hindi TV Serial - Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani - Full battle between Abhay and Siddharth over who will bite Piya

So far the serial has only seen vampires who have been good; so Abhay is the one with super powers and the only thing that we see him do in a negative mode has been to hurt Danish, but otherwise he stays away from people; only using his powers to help Piya (and the people whom she is close to). His parents Chand and Hasina also want to ensure that people do not get to know about them, and as a result, don't exhibit their powers. They can seem menacing at times, but one never really sees them doing something that would be seen as wholly negative.
And then enters Siddharth as the suave young businessman, the one who is charming and a rival to Chand. And then the history is learnt. He is another vampire, a more evil one, who was the actual brother to Abhay, but who also wanted Maithili. He also died at the same time as Abhay, and from that time onwards, there is a bitter rivalry between them, but never as strong as it appears now. This time, there is the girl called Piya, who has the same face as Mythili, and the rivalry that started between them over Mythili continues in the form of Piya.
Piya, on the other hand, starts working for Siddharth, since she does not know anything about this (and one wonders why Abhay cannot tell her anything about this, since he has already told her about him being a vampire); in fact, she sees that Panchi has fallen for his charm and handsome personality (even though she can see that he is a womanizer), and decides to get closer to Siddharth to bring Sid and Panchi closer together. Abhay cannot stand seeing Piya close to Sid (since he knows that Sid is upto no good). Things come to a head when Sid takes Piya to the jungle, in a romantic area, where he plans to convert her into a vampire, and at that critical time, Abhay bites her rather than letting Sid bite her. What happens next ?

Hindi TV Serial - Laagi Tujhse Lagan - Dutta defeats Kalavati, turns her out of the house rather than killing her

After many weeks of turmoil, the battle between Kalavati and Dutta (and very very strongly supported by Nakusha) finally came to an end. Kala seemed to have all the strong points, since she has all the family tied up (including the very strong supporter of Dutta, Baaji), the gang members believe that Dutta is now out action and hence they decide to support Kala, another family family Sudershan also supports her since he believes that he is capable of playing the role of Baaji and Dutta was never going to give him that chance, and most important of all, Dutta was out of action since he had almost totally lost his eyesight and without it, his overall power was much reduced.
Dutta and Nakku were running away from the wrath of Kala, looking for a way to regain their strength and power, and finally came to a stop inside the jungle, in a small establishment. Here, they get to know about a possible cure for the eye problem through a medicine made from some natural herbs, but it is hard to find those herbs. In the meantime, Kala's men are also looking for Dutta and Nakku and find Nakku when she has managed to find these herbs after some hard looking (Nakku will always manage to find anything that can help Dutta). She manages to persuade the men to stop looking for Dutta and instead take her, and since these men do not know anything about these herbs, she is able to leave them there. So, finally Dutta gets treated, and his eyes get cured. He then sees the photos sent by Kala (which shows his family bound and being tortured by Kala's men) and goes back to the fight, where Kala has given a challenge to Dutta, but he manages to overcome everything and defeat Kala.
Now, in the end, Dutta leaves Kala alive based on requests from Nakku, but Kala goes while promising revenge. And in a twist, it seems like Dutta will leave the show, and his main Guru will take over.

Hindi TV Serials - Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya - Arushi gets taken by force by Shakti

Something very strange is ongoing in the serial right now, especially when it comes to the right of women. Arushi marries Shakti when Shakti is already married to Kesar, and under the Hindu marriage code, Shakti cannot marry a second time when his first wife is alive. Pratigya and Krishna have been protesting this for quite some time, but have not managed to persuade any of the other family members, Shakti, SS, or Amma that what is happening is wrong. Instead, Krishna is criticized by all of them for turning over to the other side and only supporting his own wife.
And a new issue crops up when Arushi realizes that what she has done is wrong, that Pratigya was trying to help her and that she made a mistake by marrying Shakti in anger. She wants to change things, and seek the support of her family who have disowned her ever since she married Shakti. She manages to escape and goes along with Krishna and Pratigya back to her father's house who finally accepts her back. However, Shakti and Sajjan Singh come there, and using a gun, force Arushi to go back with them. Shyamji and Adarsh head to SS's house and lodge a complaint with the police and an inspector comes with them. After much coaxing, SS finally gets Amma to get Arushi from the room inside, and Arushi wants to leave. However, when the inspector finds out that Arushi had married out of her own choice and has not suffered any harm, he does not care that she wants to leave and tells her that she has to remain there. A strange action on behalf of the police.
Shakti is getting in a bad state, wanting to take Arushi, and is talking about killing Kesar so that he has only one wife, and that is Arushi.

Hindi TV Serial - Na Aana Is Des Ladoo - Bhanupratap chasing Ammaji and her family, chased them away from their home

The serial is gradually moving to the stage where a time leap happens and the current generation of people shown in the serial are no longer there. The prime hero and heroine of the serial, Sia and Raghav, will no longer be shown in the serial since they will be shown as having died in the serial.
In the serial, an old enemy of Ammaji, Bhanupratap (Aman Verma), challenges Ammaji that he will destroy her family (like Ammaji destroyed his family earlier) and he will do so when the family is celebrating the impending arrival of new children in the family, at the function to be held in the haveli.
And Ammaji is sure of the strength that she possesses, that she is sure nothing can happen; however Bhanupratap attacks with full force and forces a battle in the haveli and pushes Ammaji and the family away from the haveli. This causes more problems since there are 3 ladies who are pregnant and due to deliver.
Bhanupratap pursues them (with Ammaji running away in full flight, and with many of her men having been killed in the fight), and slowly you see how this proud family is being reduced to a sorry state in this run away from Bhanupratap. The only thing that is saving them to some extent is the fact that Ammaji has managed to keep the sister of Bhanupratap with them, and she has also regained her memory and remembers all that Ammaji did to her family.
In this difficult situation, Amba, the dacoit daughter of Ammaji comes to the rescue, and saves them temporarily from the clutches of Bhanupratap, shooting BP in the leg and hand.

Hindi TV Serial - Rahna Hain Teri Palkon Ki Chaon Mein - The serial comes to an end on 17 September, with Suman avenging her death

The serial came to an abrupt end on the 17th of September, 2010, and in a very strange way. The serial was exploring the life of Suman, who fell in love with Karan, was admired by the other brother Karthik, got married to Karan who was supposed to have died during the honeymoon. Further, she suffered a lot when she became a widow (including the various social pressures and isolation that a widow faces), but Karthik was always supporting her. And then she was supposed to be married to Karthik, when Karan decides to come back. However, she was married to Karthik, with Karan standing by (after coming back from a coma, induced by Suman's rival Nandini who wants to marry Karthik, and who thinks that getting Karan back will help in preventing Suman from getting married to Karthik).
The serial finally ended on a very strange note, with a huge touch of the supernatural. The story goes that there was another lady who was mad after Karthik, called Niharika. She decides to get rid of Suman, kidnaps her, and throws her off a cliff, and Suman dies. She further pretends that she has Karthik's baby in her womb, and hence there is social pressure to get them married. However, Suman's urge to protect Karthik is so strong that she comes back from the dead in the form of a spirit, in order to get Niharika to confess to her crimes.
Niharika gets to know that Suman is indeed dead, that it is her spirit, and yet is unable to convince the other house members to do the same. She even shows them a mirror in which Suman cannot be seen, but the others do not accept. Suman agrees to let Karthik and Niharika marry, but then gets Niharika to get scared enough that she confesses to her crime and is arrested by the police and then Suman vanishes.

Hindi TV Serial - Bandini - Megha going full on drama, killing Santu and DM, and getting Vishal back

Bandini is one serial that moves fairly fast, not takes too much time for the story to do its twists and turns (not drawn out like many other serials). Right now Bandini is going through a major drama, with Megha out of jail (somebody bailed her out). At the same time, there was a confrontation regarding Sarang, where it became clear to everybody that Sarang's marriage to Birwa was a sham. However, worryingly, Monghi had become close to Sarang before she was told about the truth of Sarang by Birwa, and she is now pregnant with Saran's child. Her medical condition is that she cannot abort this child, and now the fact is out in the open. DM hears all this, and then kicks Sarang out. Sarang comes under the influence of Megha, and goes to the panchayat to save his children.
In a twist of how rural justice can be so much like the Taleban, first the panchayat thinks of stoning Monghi for her unmarried motherhood, but then Santu scares Sarang by getting them to also blame Sarang for the same crime, and that he should be stoned as well. However, Santu saves Monghi from a punishment by using the presence of an unborn child to save this kind of stoning, and instead gets them exiled from the village.
At the same time, Megha is determined to get her revenge, and plans a major event to kidnap Vishal and also get rid of Santu and DM. She has a number of men to do her doing, and even though Santu and Monghi know of her plan, and Santu ensures that DM knows all this; and yet they are unable to stop Megha from doing what she wants to do. Santu keeps Vishal in a safe place, and yet Megha enters the house in the disguise of a maid.

Hindi TV Serial - Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli - the twisted relations, and how easy marriage is

Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli is a serial that comes on Zee TV, and is produced by Rajshri Productions. The serial is about the life of people revolving around a house along with the fight between their fathers, and the relations between their children, especially when the children get married. So, you have a house called Swarn Bhavan, a majestic house in Ujjain. The house is the property of the rich Thakur family, Thakur Uday Pratap Singh, who is somewhat proud of his house and family name. However, in a change of circumstances, the Thakur is brought down to earth when he keeps on losing money, and finally has to put his house on the block. And the person who moved him out of his house is the son of his own driver, Jagmohan Prasad, who hates the Thakur and wants to humiliate him. He leaves no chance to embarrass the Thakur and kicks him out of the house, with the Thakur having to live in a small house in Ujjain (and this is deeply disturbing for the Thakur). What is even more troubling for the Thakur is that his daughter Swarn Abha is now bringing money into the house through working at the same Swarn Bhavan, working for Jagmohan. And even more so, when Jagmohan, for even more revenge, plots to get Abha married to a drunkard, his son, Karan Prasad marries her (without any registration, without any matras, but taking her around a fire 7 times) to save her from this. She does not accept this, although Karan now accepts her as his wife. But complications arise when an old friend of hers, Sanskar realizes his love for Abha and wants to marry her, while Karan's friend Sania wants to marry Karan. How does Karan prevent Abha from getting married to Sanskar, and will Abha do anything from her side as well ?

Hindi TV Serial - Na Aana Iss Des Ladoo - Ammaji and the gang who have held Raghav custody

In Na Aana Iss Des Ladoo, is Ammaji meeting somebody who can be as ruthless as her ? Ammaji runs the house and village with an iron hand, including killing baby girls, punishing people if they go against her, and so on. She even went to the extent of sending a lady from the village to the District Magistrate to satisfy his desires to save herself from the push that he was making against her. And now, in the midst of her effort to prove that she is the leader, she is facing somebody who can be quite ruthless like her.
In the midst of a horse race, Ammaji is sought to be kidnapped by a gang of dacoits. She manages to escape this effort, but soon after, her son Raghav is kidnapped when he is going to report this to the police. This causes a huge amount of consternation in the house, with Sia being very distressed, and Ammaji spewing fire at the people who could dare do something like this.
And now, when Raghav has been captured, Ammaji is called by the dacoits to hear their demands, being called alone. She does carry a pistol, but does not get much of a chance to use it, since Raghav is in custody.
The matter is that the gang of dacoits is being chased by the police, and they want their leader Amba to get safety in Ammaji's haveli for some time. Ammaji really does not like this, but when the safety of Raghav is at stake, then there is no question of not accepting the demands. She fumes over the treatment she will accord to the dacoits once Raghav is safe, but till that time, she has to do whatever they say.

Hindi TV Serial - Balika Vadhu on Colors - The appearance of a new character to threaten Bhairon's and Sumitra's marriage

In Balika Vadhu, after the almost death of Anandi, when she saved Jagdish from a bullet, it became all right in the family. Kalyani was again happy, and started favoring Anandi again (given that it took Anandi some time to come out from hospital). It took Anandi some time to get over the shock caused by the bullet, and for some time, her mind was mentally weak.
But how is it possible that everything would go right in the serial ? A Hindi Serial consists of a series of mini-stories, all of them lasting for several weeks, and once a story has started, it will start gripping the story line and would threaten many of the characters in the serial. In this case, there is a threat to the marriage of the one couple whose marriage was never threatened so far, namely that of Bhairon and Sumitra. Till now, the marriages and relations between all the other characters in the serial had come under some strain, and now the same things is happening to their marriage.
A new character has been introduced, this being a lady called Teekri (Sakshi Talwar), who is apparently a childhood friend of Bhairon, but who had been away for many many years. Now she is back, with a sinister purpose. She believes that Bhairon is destined to be married to her, and that Sumitra would need to be removed from Bhairon's life. They show her to be somewhat demented, but she is clever enough that she is trying to make a space for herself with Maasa, and also trying to spoil the relationship between Bhairon and Sumitra. Right now, Anandi has seen what Teekri is trying to do, and she tries to stop the steps being taken by Teekri. On the other hand, Teekri fights back by trying to portray Anandi as being not good for Jagdish, and inauspicious for her.

Hindi Serial - Na Aana Is Des Ladoo - Ammaji comes up with a horrid scheme to get a heir

The serial on Colors is plumbing new depths, showing the extent to which Ammaji will go to; the show also depicts problems in the relationships between different family members, including between a husband and wife. In Ammaji's household, the relation between Joginder and his wife Santosh is very fragile, especially since Jogi is unable to give a child to Santosh. However, it is Santosh who has to bear the blame for everything, for being unable to have a child. In the society depicted in the serial, being blamed as barren is very painful for a married lady; and she faces that both inside and outside the house. One day, when taunted by one of her sister-in-laws, she cannot bear the frustration anymore, and claims in front of other people that she is not the one to blame, it is her husband. For this, she is beaten badly by Ammaji, and Jogi also does not support her (he is very angry at her for revealing the truth about him).
And then since Ammaji has started realizing that the village knows the truth and that the respect for the household will be gone, she has to figure out a solution. And then she comes up with a truly horrible (and yet seemingly practical) solution. She tells Santosh that she will have to sleep with a stranger so that she can get pregnant, and then she can then claim before the villagers that there was some treatment given to Jogi, and as a result, Santosh is pregnant, and will give birth to a heir.
Santosh refuses, but to refuse Ammaji something is not a very practical point, and Santosh is told that she will have to do this. Jogi is also persuaded by Ammaji on this. And then Ammaji throws another bombshell, claiming that this will not be a stranger, instead Raghav will have to do this. Raghav refuses, and Ammaji tries all sort of blackmail, including emotional blackmail. Finally, Sia and the others hide Santosh, with Raghav proposing that they will send her away to her brothers house.

It was a very surprising scene, and not what a lot of fans of Sia would have thought. After all, she had sworn to take revenge against everybody who had mis-treated her and her father, and for that, she had taken up position in Ammaji's house as a servant. And for that, Ammaji, who never trusted her, first made sure that she knew her position very clearly in the house, and treated her exactly like a servant, and not like a daughter-in-law; to the extent that when the DM came to their house for taking one of the ladies for the night, Ammaji put Sia also on display.
And yet, the makers of the serial have shown some stuff that is certainly not part of revenge. Even though Ammaji showed no signs of changing any of her behavior, and remained as evil as ever, Sia saved her life when she was shot by a bullet. And for that, Ammaji had not the slightest amount of gratitude. In fact, Ammaji was planning to get a new daughter-in-law for Raghav, something that he was going through. But it seemed like the ploy that Sia had was to get Raghav won over and respect her as a wife, and he finally accepted her (hardly a mark of revenge, given that Raghav was complicit in many of Ammaji's crimes). It was only when Raghav has accepted her that her status has changed in the household; but even then, Ammaji has not left any chance to still try and get Sia away from Raghav. She managed to persuade Sia not to have a physical relationship with Raghav for 3 months since this has been recommended by the family priest, and then is subjecting Sia to a lot of pressure in the kitchen, making her cook the food for the entire family.
